We are here for the 3rd time. Beautiful modern apartment with feel-good character right next to the 300-year-old main house (also here there are guest rooms). Very nice, helpful landlord. Farm holidays. Perfect.

If you are looking for an authentic farm house experience, we highly recommend the Rommelehof Farm. The owners were so very warm and welcoming. The breakfast was great. It consists of homemade bread, meats, cheeses, jams and juice. The views were the absolute best. We will definitely stay here again whenever we make it back to this beautiful place.

VERY traditional farmhouse guesthouse. Ideal for cat lovers. Recommend place to eat — Gasthaus Lowen on main road 1 km walk.

Just gorgeous … the soul lovingly led yard. Great place to stay … yummy Breakfast with homemade bread & cake … relax & enjoy the nature … … we will definitely come back again …

The apartment in the wooden house is very cosy. The whole family is really very friendly and always trying to make a wonderful stay possible. It is also very child-friendly. Gladly again.

The surrounding area is very quiet. The location is perfect for exploring the Black Forest.
Unfortunately, the house is really noisy. The little children in the attic got up at 6 o'clock… we then unfortunately also.
The new sauna area can be reserved for an additional fee (ordinary €30). Very nicely decorated, however there are no sauna rules and the area is accessible despite reservation for everyone. Result: Sweat stains and black footprints on the benches and children playing in the whirlpool.
Which was not so nice: the bathroom of the apartment was, if at all, only superficially cleaned and not really clean. Overall, you seemed a bit overwhelmed with everything.
And one more tip: Ask directly after the guest card. We paid tourist tax and only after the stay we learned that we were allowed to go for free train with the accompanying guest card. Unfortunately we did not get them.

We actually wanted to spend four nights on the Rommelehof. Unfortunately we had to leave after two days, because the apartment we were promised was unpredictably occupied. The apartments, which were offered and alternative, were unfortunately not comparable in the furnishing and style. Although we had to leave through no fault prematurely, we had to pay the surcharge for a short stay and the more expensive apartment. The hosts were completely unrelenting and uncompromising in this respect.
Therefore our conclusion: actually beautiful yard, but very unreliable, chaotic and despite admission of our own misplanning in price completely adamant.

Wonderful experience in the middle of the black forest. It was a great stay here, quiet and comfortable. Michael is a great guest.

Lovely setting, great people, and the new guesthouse building is fantastic! The apartment with enormous bathroom, quality fixtures and fittings and sofa were a dream. Friendly cats, couple of pigs, and cows on the hillside. Pity we could only stay for one night.

A fairy-tale like ancient farm (from 1665) in an amazing pictoresque landscape, excellent breakfast, delicious homemade bread, schnaps and salami, warmly, cozy, friendly and nice hosts, they made you feel like home, all at a very low price! You can reach must see attractions as Vogstbauernhof by foot and you can use all public transport in Black Forest area for free with the guestcard. We will return as soon as possible. If you plan a visit in this area and you would stay in a typical Black Forest old farm this is the place for you!
