Stayed here back in August of 1994. Super nice staff, weather was epic. The land was lush with vegetation and fruit. We snorkeled the night we arrived, by the rock jetty. Took a hotel chartered boat to Body boarded the reef passes. Fun little right out in front to the left that peels like a horseshoe. Holds a 6-10’ swell. The left was fun too with the right swell. I worked with Navy Seal, George McGinnis who dynamited all the Tahitian Atolls to create passage for the navy vessels. (WWII) this warm water paradise dates back. Funny: The local surfers wanted some of our gear, we said no and they said “you surf here no more. ” My buddy later gave them a rash guard so we could surf there. Ha! Additionally, I met a really special girl there who was on the trip with us and later became my girlfriend. The tranquil environment enhances any social romance potential. (We counted 19 shooting stars on any given night. ) I will always miss the magic of this place. I sure hope they keep it underdeveloped!

PROS: Overall a very nice place. The food at the hotel was delicious and the service in the restaurant was excellent. CONS: — The have a very bad ant problem in bathroom and near bed. Make sure to throw away all of the flowers left in the room — they seem to attract the ants. — Bring ear plugs because you'll hear roosters crowing all night/early morning. — Wear plenty of mosquito repellent; they're EVERYWHERE. — The front desk would only provide us with 1 room key card for our stay (the room key must be inserted into wall unit to allow for AC) and gave us the excuse that they "ran out of cards and wouldn't have any more until the day after we checked out" — give me a break! — We rented a car based on the price that we saw in their literature (8200 CPF), when they printed the receipt, I noticed that it was for 8500 CFP. Christophe (one of the front office employees) said that we had old literature left in our room. (although it even showed the same 8200 CFP price in his literature too). After some discussion, he agreed to go with the 8200 CFP price. When we got back to our room, we noticed that the literature was changed to the new rates (even though we had a DO NOT DISTURB sign hanging). Additionally, when we checked out the next day, the price of 8500 CFP was on our bill.

Great moments in this hotel, with a human dimension. The rooms that work there are very welcoming, the dishes served in the restaurant are very good.

Wonderful resort and a beautiful location.

Very good welcome, bungalow really nice in the shape of a canoe… And the different fish dishes served at the restaurant are excellent.

Great Resort also has a very small and interesting museum.

Excellent stays in half board! Plan a dish of the day if not very routine meal, we quickly did the tricks of the map.

An absolutely beautiful quiet complex. The bungalows are generously spread out in the complex. They are modern and equipped with everything important. Live tv, fridge, save and small tea corner are available. Each bungalow has its own terrace with its own terrace, table and armchair. A restaurant is available for culinary delights right on the beach. There you can feast around the clock. The kitchen is really good. But not entirely favorably. Cocktails are also available in every variation. There is also a freshwater pool right on the beach.

Luxurious Bungalow on a small pond dotted with water lilies, the Maitai-Pitai is the perfect place to stay in Huahine. Directly on a beautiful beach bordered by a small path that leads to the center of the village in a few minutes on foot.
Warm welcome, as everywhere in Polynesia, and restoration without reproach!

Old Bali hated Hotel…
It's just heaven!

The lake is stunning, the bungalows are really nice, the service is friendly and overall this hotel is really excellent. The downsides for us were the restaurant (which is overpriced and we got food poisoning) and the fact that we had room service for our laundry which came back smelling of mildew (because they forgot about it and then covered it up by saying that there had been a delay).

Amazing bungalows! Really captures the Polynesian heritage!

The hotel is a little bit different to the classic polinesian resorts (no overwater bungalows and less luxury) but it's a really good choice if you want to stay some nights in Huahine. Rooms are big and nice, the hotel is quite new, the service is helpful and nice and the restaurant is really good, much better and cheaper than other restaurants of other 5 starts hotels in Polinesia. The hotel has a nice lttle beach and a small swimming pool. The only disadvantage is that there is no free Wi-Fi, which seems odd nowadays.

Great hotel I went 2 years j I love you can meet unforgettable people.

We just popped in for coffee (excellent) and a look and it was a very pleasant experience. We met the potter who has a role here, and he was a delight to talk to. The eating area was directly on the beach. Would have loved to go back and eat there.

Great hotel great location.

Hotel great, well maintained restaurant worthy, the only problem would be for the internet connection in the reception area. Logic would suggest that the proposed zone is rather the bar near the pool area.

We dined here two or three time in October. But it was so long ago, I forget the dishes.

Favorite. :D Superb hotel, excellent, lovely and easy access to the village by the beach, the lagoon just in front of the pool is full of fish and corals, and Huahine is a really quiet, wild and lovely island! :).
