Les Galets Bleus Hotel

Les Galets Bleu is very well located in the centre of Etretat. We chose the location as we wanted to have a quick lunch and continue with our journey. We chose a table on the terrace and quickly ordered. Several tables came after us and all got served before us. This was disappointing as it was hot and we had ordered drinks. I started to get a bad feeling when a lady who worked there (maybe the owner as I'm pretty sure an employee wouldn't be behaving like her! ) Talked with her mouth open chewing, eating bread, chewing gum. I was pretty put off to be honest. Then when we finally got out meals we were disappointed with the contents. The galettes contained little garnish and were provided with a tea spoon maximum of salad. We got interrupted by the lady several times during the meal as she was clearly lost, maybe on another planet not knowing who at ordered what. Considering there weren't that many people there I wouldn't want to see what the place is like during the dinner service. I'd recommend doing your homework before choosing a restaurant in Etretat.

Restaurant to avoid. Waitresses not welcoming at all, and arguing in front of customers. I'm not even talking about the dishes. Pasta carbonara: portion of a kindergarten child but covered with a layer of gruyère at least 3cm. Unwashed middies mussels… And to have a jug of water, it's complicated… The tables were not clean… Short Don't Go.

Very very very average home. Service and quality very limited! I do not speak neither the price nor the quality: 3 slices of bologna on a bed of salad for a l entrance of a menu at 17 euros 50! Very poor quality red meat! Short to avoid.

Yum, we ate very well.
The pancakes were well stocked, good, and well presented.
The service was top, we were in small onions.

We stayed one night in this hotel, the hotel is OK for one step, the room was clean but it was too hot in this one. Other small downside the bathroom of our room was separated, you had to cross the hallway to be able to access it not very convenient.
It's a pity because the hotel is 400 m from the beach, it could have been much better.

Restaurant to avoid. We took pancakes, she had no flavors, the quality of a bad school canteen. Open kitchen where we unfortunately see what happens there…

Room with minimum comfort, cleanliness is to improve. Not worth €80 at night.

How to say, correct home and correct service but as for the dishes I would have believed in the canteen of a high school … I order a salad composed of charts sauce, I find myself with 4 leaves of salad barely peeled and not very fresh with 3 croutons of breads and a bunch of charts on it. No presentation, no assortment in the salad (bacon …) and hardly seasoned. I understand the few people in the restaurant. And the price is not justified for the dishes …

It hasn't been a nice enough deal to put more stars in. The space between table and table is very scarce so you are practically eating with the other diners. If you carry dog you want to put in the entrance so if it does not 30 º outside and you can take a feathered until summer. The food has not been bad, but no more stars are won by the comment.

Really nice outdoor seats. Tasty food and kind service.

Suspicious cleanliness. The pasta "The ocean" supposed to contain Saints James and mushrooms, without taste. The fries accimpagnant the mussels came cold. A fly bathed in the pitcher of white wine. Finally, simply avoid!

Great place to eat at. The owners opened the place a bit ahead of time for us. If you come here with company, try the Normand menu… Definitely worth the price.

To avoid, even by default: arm yourself with patience before being served: 45 min To see serving a salad with three leaves in it. As for the meal, the quality is passable but the presentation not worthy of a restaurant. (A handful of gruyère grated of large distribution vulgarly dropped on the plate of pasta ocean). You might as well cook yourself! The prices are high compared to the quality. 14 Euros a plate of pasta with two walnuts of Saint James …
Very disappointed and will never set foot here again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Entrecote with French fries and salad, mussels cider with french fries, water and 1/2 L of wine under 40 euros.

The place is located right by the sea, however that's all it had to offer. The apartment was missing basic kitchen equipment, the bed was broken and they accused is of breaking it. Definitely not worth the price!

50 minute wait in gym, inconsistent service: people arrived after we are served before, our dishes are coming 20 minutes apart. No water despite repeated requests, no follow-up of the dishes ordered at the time of payment. In short to avoid. Too bad, children had enjoyed the nuggets.

We were disappointed in our stay, the too small green room with view over the roofs don't merit has our view not more than 40 euros night and those n matter what season, a hyper dangerous staircase without a ramp, a water flush very noisy location zero. A positive good quality bedding.

We had lunch at this restaurant with my wife during our weekend a Etretat. This restaurant is terrible. The mussels are sandy and rubbery, the white wine was cut with water and coffee are not talking. Not to mention our crepes without sugar and not cooked sugar. A disaster! It's a shame for French cuisine. As for hygiene. She leaves vrlvraiment to desire.

A deplorable customer service (2 waitresses completely outdated because of their 15 clients! ), the dishes more than average and the icing on the cake, by going to the toilet at the end of the meal a view worthy of "Nightmares in the kitchen" kitchen.

It wasn't bad but too expensive for the quality! Fish soup was good and besides they had the honesty to tell us that it was not made fully home. A good point. My girlfriend took the foie gras. That kinda tasted like sausage! Strange but not bad. Dish a duck confit which just seemed to be fried in oil, and for me the mussels not cleaned (with their filaments) and some with black sand or silt. I couldn't drink the juice: — (if not to drink very light cider in pressure. ) We were a little disappointed that it lacks taste! Otherwise the only cook in the kitchen was very friendly. Too many negatives for an addition to €60.
