First time out of all 5 stars — 7 stars hotels we stayed in London, Geneva, Amsterdam etc. Here in Cannes I received awesome hospitality and lovely service. Very cooperative staff, very helping kitchen staff to tell us the ingredients (in case, we r eating right food and not non-hindu-Non Veg food). Room cleaning staff came 3-4 times if she can clean the room now with Smiling Face. Keep the good work Carlton InterContinental, Cannes.

The best concierge service I have ever experienced. And a breakfast with a view to boot.

My partner and I went for drinks and we found the staff to be very friendly and attentive. The cocktails were amazing and the complimentary snacks provided too!

The most magnificent looking hotel in Cannes. Competes with Majestic, but wins on service and decoration! According to connoisseurs, two turrets on the roof symbolize the breasts of the famous courtesan at the time) ), which of course adds intrigue. Magnificent zaatraks, coffee and croissants. Next to the hotel is an exhibition of vanity automakers.

Excellent location and service, some areas need overhaul though (terrasse f. E. ). Nevertheless a great experience.

Pricey hotel with average service and low quality amenities.
I could accept the high price if room or breakfast would be above average, but for over 40 EUR did you get a buffet breakfast of normal standard where you had to order and pay extra for a custom omelet for example. Room was ok, but as a simple example I would expect a new and good coiffure standard hairdryer instead of an old cheap one. For private beach access there is a hefty extra fee of 55 Euro for hotel guests, which makes the 60 Euro for non guests very affordable.

I would definitely go back here. The choice of breakfast menu was amazing. There was something for everyone. I found a brand of coffee I loved. The staff were so helpful. The rooms were so clean and the beds changed everyday. The ensuite was always clean and new towels provided every day. The toiletries provided were of exceptional quality. The whole experience here was brilliant. I couldn't fault it.

Perfect view, food, service and staff. I ejoyed in every second there. But there is same male and female toalet, undersized for this restaurant and not so clean.

Excellent hotel with excellent service! The best among IC! Stayed there a few times and on my birthday, the hotel helped me to celebrate with champagne and a plate of special cakes! Food, both breakfast and dinner are excellent! And the bell captain gave us bottles of water for our journey when we leave.

Not booked with private or other travel. At 245 EUR at night you have a very watch room peeling paint on the wall glazed vanity is not at all the standing of a 5stars!

We took advantage of the terrace to have a drink it is a sumptuous place, welcoming and accessible for a drink… Now we still have to test the night stay more breakfast…
We also admire the Cannes Film Festival on May 10th…

Did you know that this is where Grace Kelly met Rainiero? The Carlton is now The Intercontinental Carlton but it should be called the Monaco Carlton. This year during the Cannes Film Festival they even changed the front door to make it a mission impossible entrance because you needed to have a credential of the film festival or a key of the hotel to get in but the entrance was also a huge big sign of the Tom Cruise movie Mission Impossible. The director Ron Howard also stayed here for the reléase of the Star Wars movie 'Solo' and look at the photos where he actually did a special photo shoot for the Los Angeles To (I forgot… I was the one who chose THAT spot) AND if you want to SEE more. Check out the jewels hidden in a special suite for the Cannes Film Festival red carpet.

Historic hotel in Cannes say that its domes on the roof were made in the image of the breasts of the beautiful Otero put inside is browse and Magnofico.

The only justification for the overpriced rates is the famous name. The service is nothing exceptional, nor the rooms. Comparable to hotels half or third the price.

Eating on the terrace of the hotel located on the beach, with its espectacilares views of the sea, gives the sensation of introducing yourself in a film by Alfred Hitchcoock (catches a thief), shot in part in this hotel and on the fantastic French Riviera. Great place, great service, great food.

It's okay. However, I find it unbearable that big events are celebrating a big plastic spree. Mugs, plates, cutlery… all plastic. That is all the more regrettable, as the food is even at big events, O. K. It just doesn't taste like plastic. That used to be really better. I know it's crazy to talk about abundance of sustainability. But perhaps you can agree that it is simply unstyled.

Old-fashioned establishment. Quality staff, helpful, courteous and competent. Good bedding, very good breakfast, but for a palace, I prefer the Majestic or even the Marriott…

Perfect establishment! From the view of the room to the restaurant nothing is left to chance. The staff is very nice. The breakfast is really complete and little to do brunch as it is provided.

The legendary Carlton of Cannes… enjoy in order to have a drink on the terrace… It's still affordable.

It deserves to enter also for a coffee, we speak not of a hotel, but a piece of history, everything is great, professional staff and polite, perhaps deserves a slight restoration…

Google should check the veracity of the positive reviews on this hotel, as objectively I agree with many of the guests who explained that this hotel was a real scandal. Messy toilets, wall cloth that peels off everywhere, smell of graillon and kitchen at the entrance, sinister bar, dirty towels thrown on the floor in the hallways. Totally unworthy of a 5 star. Customers come here for reasons other than tourism.

I've never seen such a bad service for a palace. We arrived at the Carlton by car, no one came to open the door. The vallet kept standing there looking at us without moving a finger. And when we gave him the car keys, he asked us if we were going to the bar or to the restaurant and that we must bring him the bill to testify…!? At the bar, we waited 20min for the waiter to arrive whereas the bar was empty. And another 20min for the bill to arrive after we asked for it. And in the end we had to go to the bar directly to pay for it because no one was coming. This is a real shame. The staff is a shame.

110 years old hotel has it's charm. Still keeping the good standard. Charming interior, classic style, excellent location and service make it special experience. Prices for people of success.

Great location great room but the reception was pressure selling membership cards, free Wi-Fi is good for email only (options exist at 25, 50 and 100 euro per night! ). They don’t even pay for a single Nespresso capsule in the room. After that I didn’t feel so welcome anymore.

The service can be compared with a few hotels. Unfortunately, the hotel has come a bit in the years and the rooms should be badly refurbished. At first glance, everything looks perfect, with a close look at the ceiling or on the walls, the age of the hotel can be recognized. I personally do not think this is bad, this only has nothing to look at in such a price range. As soon as photographers are in front of the hotel, you can meet prominent guests in the rules.

It is an incredibly beautiful place with a beautiful view. It's the best place.

Great damage for tonight. Very good service, very attentive and friendly staff. But tonight a "DJ" out of which we do not know from where that seemed to believe in disco of zone which flooded us with a thundering music. We fled disappointed. Too bad.

A lovely hotel located next to the beach in Cannes. It is a great place to come for a drink and a bite to eat whilst watching all of the interesting people in Cannes. Worth a visit if your in town.

Absolutely fantastic! Great rooms, great location. The breakfast buffet is to die for, endless options (Nutella & Strawberry pancakes! ). Reasonably priced parking available in garage near the Cannes casino. Everything is nearby and walkable. Private beach across the street that turns into a night club at night. Stayed here a week after the Cannes Film Festival in 2016, can't wait to go back!

A monument! Comfort, luxury, security, services, perfect restaurant. The rooms deserve a rejuvenating but comfortable and clean.

Place full of history and fantastic.

This is a top hotel, popular with celebrities during the Cannes Festival. Its comfortable, delightful pleasant friendly staff. We always booked in here when on the French Reviera. Breakfast is quite a spread with a variety to choose from and very delish. The view is fabulous and the hype around this hotel during the festival is exciting with an amazing vibe.

Terrible, terrible, terrible. What more can I say 1. I was downgraded room on getting to hotel. 2.46 euros to park my hotel for night 12 hours my hire car rate is 15. 3. No pool or spa. 4. Beach across the road at discount rate of 45 euros 5. Breakfast normally included 45 euros. 6. Bottle of water from min bar 8 euros. 7. Bed as hard as rock and terrible. 8. Where is my shaver and tooth brush kit 9. Where is my international Adaptor. 10. Complained do you think anyone cares. 11. I just want to leave this was supposed to be 3 days or r & r at supposedly on of most luxurious hotels in world. Are to kidding. 12. Air con doesn’t work. 12 I have been here 2 hours and feel like I am I a prison cell.

Superb building with a great history. The staff was very professional and helpful. It's best building on the strip and you will be charged accordingly. But an extra €1 to use the coffee maker in the room, really? And your going to chain the iron to the ironing board like this is some kind of motor lodge? Seems like mismanagement or maybe greed has caused a loss of focus here which would explain why precious lobby space has been rented out to boutiques and the bar plastered with ads.

Fro a lot of people. Better to go in the spring it's quieter and therefore more enjoyable.

OMG, the hotel itself puts full view because just at the entrance you enjoy the beautiful cars parked, whether inside or outside the hotel it's just beautiful. The room is spacious nothing to say, clean and sea view so even better.

We were on the beach for the fireworks. The service was impeccable and the view amazing. I highly recommend this type of event.

It feels sad when you consider the history of the hotel that the focus seems to be geared towards serving corporate clients and capitalising on its reputation. The historical entrance and facade has been covered with corporate advertising whenever I've visited. The beach is essentially an event stage and the restaurant, whilst serving great food, is overpriced compared to the other places nearby. Rooms are small but of a reasonable standard, the traffic and noise around the building leaves a lot to be desired. Staff are friendly and helpful, check-in and out is easy. Hotel is central. Overall its possibly worth considering the majestic which has equal historical significance, but is of a much higher standard and has also maintained its dignity.

Skip it. The service was very poor. There is a massive amount of noisy construction outside. There was no power in our room when we arrived. If you are disabled and need to be accommodated in any way, you will not be. Even ways as simple as getting a place to lie down or getting a room when it is ready instead of waiting hours for an arbitrarily determined time. It is in stark contrast to the InterContinental in Paris (which was superb). It is a beautiful space, if shabby around the edges, but the service is not aligned with the prices. However, the food was excellent. Very high quality.

First time that we use d an evening at the carlton excellent discreet staff and top room superb number 548 a dream experience thanks for all the attention brought by the staff meals taken at the restaurant was excellent when breakfast no complaints varied great the only downside lack of soundproofing for this type of palace otherwise I think that we will try to come back after the work to appreciate the difference aline claude.

Wonderful experience and right on the beach front. Had a brilliant time here, even with the paparazzi hanging around. French cuisine was superb. Would definitely return.
