The hotel with no staff… A bit like a Formula 1 for the service, ie nothing, but good services in the room (certainly a little fresh). We wanted to tell the officials, but we didn't see anyone. Self service. The opposite can be said that full trust is made to the client. It is also good, we respect all the more places.

The place is stunning: it combines the charm of a castle, its Park and its trees more than a century old, the campaign, a heated pool, all facing the sea and view of Noirmoutier. For lovers of history, this castle is classified by the monuments of France. Its facades are same and gives it an amazing light in all weather. A charm and a relaxing environment.
A huge project of restoration and expansion to greet and encourage…
We will return on August 15 to celebrate the GROOM, and the the 30-year anniversary of our son… Recommend it without moderation…

The castle is beautiful with a mix of modern/old just right. The welcome is warm, with nice people that receive you. The rooms are very clean and cute. Level restore nothing to say it is excellent. Fresh, simple things but with a large products and know-how.

I came back for the second time this year, prices have increased tremendously. 120 euros room which requires to take his shower crouched.
Seminar room sloppy, not customer listening or questioning of the boss.

Madam, Sir, to go to a training I arrived in front of a beautiful building. She beautiful place. Warm and professional welcome. From the first evening discovered the kitchen and dining room. After the first night I went to my room to enjoy a well deserved sleep.
No sound not troubled that first night in this very good bed Ah very good and nice bedding. The first splendid breakfast bread do House to stamp on the ground so it is good. Our stay was continued in an enchanting setting with a couple of friendly simple delicious boss but especially true. The heart that is what comes out of them. Thanks to them we had a memorable stay and already know we will come back either for professional reason or in private.

I spent 3 days in the hotel restaurant. Since February 2014 the work undertaken by the new managers have to breathe new life into this place that was a little doomed him even. The new modern baroque style gives a fresh touch and tend to the entire building.
The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
About the restaurant for eating 5 meals the mets season there were thin with quality, originality and more cheap. Follow but this restaurant has a lot of potential that wouldn't be found soon in the "BIB gourmand".

We went to the castle of the Gressiere because we were saying that there had been a change of ownership.
Actually we were greeted in a completely revisited Baroque style setting.
We settled on the terrace, on the edge of a beautiful infinity pool, where we enjoy an excellent small menu of the market at € 19.
The market kitchen offers the head is surprising, generous on the plate and combines land and sea flavors with good accents to the Southwest.
the home was perfect, very nice service. We had a pleasant time on the heights of the Bernerie in Retz quiet facing the Bay of Bourgneuf. Value for money is excellent. We will come back as often as possible.

Fortunately, the owners have changed. After a warm welcome, we appreciated the framework and the meal. In fine gastronomes we were overwhelmed.

We went to the restaurant of the castle of the gressiere. We spent a sublime moment of gastronomy with a welcome and a nice frame. Prices were correct, the excellent dishes and the famous wines congratulations to the Chief and to the managers for work provided since the change of owner good luck and next time.

Hotel closed despite booking. Abandoned?
Having booked a room for the weekend, we were surprised to find the hotel in a State of complete abandonment. A wave displays throne at the entrance stating that "the restaurant is closed", but the hotel even unresponsive. The garden is returned, the Interior seems to fall into dust, as evidenced by the photos.
In short, happened in front of the hotel at night and after waiting, honked, waited again, tried to return for an hour, and this despite the reservation that they had confirmed to us, we have the find another hotel. Not easy at the beginning of January in the corner, indeed.
It is apparently closed, and if it is still open, they take reservations without honour them.
So much for a romantic weekend.
