We had a great time at the restaurant on 1928, the meal was delicious, thanks to Christophe for his kindness and professionalism.

Great food, friendly and helpfull service and great location as well.

Beautiful old building with many original features. Very friendly helpful staff with great sense of humour. Clean comfortable every thing you could want really. Only question I would ask is why the rugs on the walls?

This quality hotel is ideally sited opposite the railway station in Valenciennes. Facing the square it offers confidence in its ability to provide an excellent service. You'll be well treated in this hotel.

A good hotel opposite the rail station and within easy walking distance of the town centre. Rooms not much to report home about but they are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is OK.

The rooms are on the small size although still clean and comfortable. It would be better if they installed A/C as the rooms can get quite warm. The breakfast is acceptable and the Wi-Fi is very good. The hotel is 3 star but the restaurant is 4 star, — very good selection, efficient and knowledgable staff — a little expensive.

Very nice place home is great and the dishes very varied. I go at least once by myself with my husband and I could celebrate my birthday all our wishes to chase thanks to you with a lot of success.

You only get 1 star because Facebook won’t let me give you Zero. Terrible place, poor quality food, no fruit for breakfast, I wouldn’t give my cat the meat they serve. Staff are rude, if you go outside you are accosted by people begging for cigarettes, staff don’t care. I was followed into the toilet on my 3rd night there by a creepy guy who apparently worked there but looked like a homeless man asking if I was staying there. Cold tap water is warm and smells unpleasant. Broken lights in the room and decor is a door mat on the wall. The most awful place I’ve ever stayed, how they got a 3 star hotel rating is beyond belief. Beer prices change with the wind. Avoid this place at all costs.

Fairly high prices. A lot of choices on the map. Menus at a reasonable price but less well served than a card.
Public Parking where it is often difficult to find a place.

An indispensable step in the Valenciennois… Varied and mastered map… A cellar to discover also. Top Home Service!, I recommend.

Opinion about the restaurant only : good French and local cuisine which lacks perhaps a little more finesse, but overall this is very good and rich, it is even the main. On the frame side it is very nice and the service is attentive and smiling, thank you ladies for waitresses.

Quality kitchen with a decent price ratio. We could expect a higher-end card But the prices are consistent.

A warm and friendly welcome, a pleasant setting, fine and tasty cuisine and yet we did not take the easiest to cook! What happiness to repeat quickly and often what rejoicing for our taste buds. ⚘

If the rooms have "some hidden" breakfast and welcome are topical. The main one is assured in cleanliness and comfort.

Good value for a central location. 1 minute walk across the road to the train station but no noise in the room. Fab restaurant attached. 3* rooms but 5* location.

Great breakfast the setting is not bad. The rooms go from old but well to redone and top with a balneotherapy bathtub… And the between two also exists.

Very bad experience. Today, passing for one night, looking for a hotel to spend the night, I stopped there. First of all I wanted to go to the toilet because being pregnant can no longer hold me, the gentleman at the front desk just chased me on the pretext that the toilet could only be accessible if I took a drink. However I wanted to first make myself comfortable before booking my room. Damage!

Very well. A little stuffy but the highest quality of dishes. Wine too expensive… 50 cl Pinot noir:19, 90€…

Cool little hotel with lots of history, but no AC. That isn't much of a problem! Budget friendly and great service.

A great hotel where the welcome is top, the rooms nothing to say as of course the cleanliness as on the quality.
The latest range is frankly beautiful, not enough stars to rate for me … the staff always smiling, friendly and frankly it feels good.
For the meal it is also the same, nothing to say we eat very well and the also the service goes with the quality of the hotel.

Stayed there several times decades ago. It was a grand hotel in a great location. I want to get back there again as I love France (and many other countries).

It is magic this hotel very good flat be especially beautiful room.

A lot of smoke and mirrors, cook at the height of the frame and that's a shame.

Visit in August 2013. Awesome place with well prepared yet simple dishes. Unfortunately the service is totally below. The servers themselves very well do their job. The problem is with the floor man who tends to take people for idiots and top. Proud to be the and haughty to customers. Damage because it us at a bad time…

Side restaurant, this is the value at Valenciennes (I will comment not on the hotel), beautiful setting, almost perfect service, excellent cuisine (attention however, sometimes a few releases, also don't hesitate to make the remark if necessary).

I'm staying at this hotel right now and i'm really enjoying it. Very friendly staff at the reception, the breakfast is simply awesome (the chef is really friendly) and also it's very strategically located near the Rail station and bus and tram stops. Rooms are really cosy and well equipped with bath tub, heater, tv. We can also access the Wi-Fi at the reception downstairs. i'm really enjoying my stay here. 5 stars.
