Wonderful, kind and friendly hosts! The owner was so helpful and answered all of our questions, but never intruded on our space. The rooms are really gorgeous (the photos on the site don't do them justice) and the bed was SO comfortable! Guests are allowed to use the kitchen area too which is very useful for making a quick meal or sandwiches to take for a picnic lunch. Perfect for a quiet, calm escape and still only about 15 mins drive to Boulogne-sur-Mer where there is also plenty of free and easy parking.
If you want somewhere quiet and tranquil, this is the place. Excellent Bistro in the village with a good menu and very reasonable priced. Parking opposite.
Le Petit Manoir e la Berthenlaire cannot be faulted. Very easy to find with Sat Nav. Friendly welcome, we asked for an early check in which was no problem. The accommodation is superb. The property has a quiet and tranquil feeling about it.
Breakfast was excellent, served in the tranquility of the Dining Room, delicious French bread, croissant, cheeses, conserves and boiled egg. Breakfast was included in the room rate, as was parking… so no hidden extras.
Located less than an hour from Calais and 15 minutes from Boulogne it is an ideal base to explore the area, or as a stop off crossing the channel. It is an undiscovered secret!

Le Petit Manoir is a beautifully restored building in the French countryside. Sandrine and her family are welcoming and very helpful. Each of the rooms are well decorated, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice of local produce.
