Very quiet places close to the beach friendly staff and clean rooms, I recommend this hotel.

We stayed on our travels around France. We used this hotel on the way back to Calais after 2 weeks in the South of France. Lovely hotel! Lovely rooms, very clean and well presented. The gentleman on reception was lovely, spoke fantastic English and went above and beyond to accommodate us. We would certainly stay again if we return to the area.

A night spent in this family hotel (2 children) in a family room. Perfect location: near the landing beaches. Cleanthesm of the perfect room. Mini-kitchen with everything you need, a good way to save restaurant budget. Breakfast: perfect but a bit expensive. Noted little entertainment in the city (no beachside trade).

The location of the property is great within easy reach of many historic and interesting places.
Also, although I don't have a restaurant literally in front of the hotel, it's a must for those staying there.
Conspicuous flaw, however, the torrid temperature in the upstairs bedroom that would prevent anyone from being able to rest well without special measures.
Placing the boiler in the same room separated only by a small door was not a brilliant idea given that there is no opening upstairs to ventilate it.

The staff were friendly, the showers, kitchen and bathroom had definetly seen better days. The food was mediocre and the breakfasts were basic. At night the rooms were unbearably hot and the one fan and window was not enough to cool the room to suitable sleeping temperatures. The room was not cleaned once during our stay. The promised Wi-Fi was awful and tHe TV we were provided with had no remote so that was a waste. Overall quite nice but would only stay again if I had no other choice.

Very warm welcome. Well-equipped comfortable rooms. There is also a kitchenette with a fridge. Cleaning grade 10. Good buffet breakfast. Really great value for money (comparison to cert hotels that are not worthy of this name, this is a gem! ). Restaurant of the same management with good quality cuisine and menus of both meat and fish. Vito knows the territory well and has given us very useful information.

The hotel is very close to Gold Beach D Day landing beach. This was the reason for my visit on 6/6/18. My late father Wilfred Bennett (4/7 Royal Dragoon Guards) landed with his troop in his tank at La Riviere at 7.20 am on 6/6/44 and took out the pillbox there. I was able to visit the beach early and return for a delicous cooked buffet breakfast! I had a large double room which was superb! The bed, which was on a mezzanine level, was very comfortable. There was a lounge area with a sofa and flat screen tv. The bathroom had a bath to relax in. And there was a kitchen area, fully equipped with fridge, cutlery, crockery and a kettle.

Italian management, sympathy and friendliness assured: clean and tidy rooms, excellent location 1 minute walk from the famous Gold Beach. Competitive Prices.

I was on a school trip and I was not expecting it; the rentals are mini-apparts with floor. The only worry and that there are a ton of switches because you have to activate the plugs.
Moreover it is not too far from the sea.
the apartment was really nice!

Quiet, clean and modern hotel. We had taken a family room, convenient with our 2 children and their room on mezzanine. Only small downside concerning the space for the table, the 2 chairs and the 2 remaining seats at the foot of bed, but enough for a breakfast. To recommend.

The food was not very well prepared and cooked only half-hearted. The rooms would be in a rather questionable condition and the staff was not very respectful of visitors. No comparison with a German 3-star hotel.

For me this place deserve 10 stars rating. It is amazing to stay here. There was a lill issue with Wi-Fi but it was sorted. Staff is amazing, speaks very good English. Hotel is superb clean, apart from nice bathroom there is a small kitchen corner in your room. Microwave, fridge, cooking hob, cattle and filter coffee machine. Pots and all is there also. If you don't cook staff from reception offering you they'll bring food from restaurant across the road. As for price vs value: for this prices it will be difficult to find something better in this area.

Nice hotel. The superior double rooms are relatively well equipped. Clean room on arrival. Friendly staff, but maybe a little disorganized.
Parking available. Close to the sea. Easy to access. Some tips are given on arrival if you want to make a small weekend under the theme of the Second World War. Restaurant, bakery, butcher shop and convenience store nearby.

Great hotel with extremely helpful staff. We stayed in a 'split level' superior room with kitchenette which was great making your own tea and coffee, went to local supermarket 10 minutes away in car to pick up basics and microwave meals (microwave in kitchenette which was great). Rooms exceptionally clean and breakfast very nice, good coffee. Plenty of free parking and ideally located near DDay landing beaches. Arromanches, 5 minutes drive also gas restaurants, bars etc. We visited early in the year (March) so some places not yet open for the season.

Having booked the room several days before my arrival; Once there, the receptionist informs me of the unavailability of all the other rooms and that she can only offer me a room for handicapped person. Unhappy with his proposal I unfortunately have no choice but to accept because coming from the Parisian region, I did not want to look for another hotel after having already made all this long tiring road. I decide to pay more to stay a little later the next day and the receptionist decides to change my room, in a normal because I stay longer: as by chance a room is available! Dishonest staff who choose the rooms at the head of the customers and who wants only the money.
Arriving in the room, I notice that the sheets are poorly made. The bed for 2 people corresponds to two mattresses a place glued together.
The hotel is described as soundproof which is not at all the case. We hear the passersby talking about walking and cleaning up the hallway. Also, repetitive banging sounds from the upper chambers. Contrary to what Ebooking says, breakfast is absolutely not served in the room.
The worst is the staff that allows you to open the door to our room twice. Without even knocking before. A big lack of professionalism and respect towards their customers.
For my part the only good thing about this hotel is that I found the room only spacious, modern and cheap. However, I would not advise this hotel.

The welcome at the Gold Beach Hotel was warm, friendly and efficient. All of the staff were most helpful throughout our stay. The hotel was clean and comfortable and any requests (such as extra pillows) was dealt with speedily and with good grace. The front of house staff: Clementine, Vito and Delila were always on hand to assist with anything to make our stay as enjoyable as they could. My wife and I commend the staff most highly and have no reservations in recommending the hotel.

Very clean hotel. Room very spacious and very good bedding. The kitchenette area is a very good idea. Staff very friendly and small care. Very good value for money for a hotel within 2 steps of the sea. C is sure we will return! Very good stay.
Only downside: The price of breakfast (10 €/person). It is quite expensive compared to what is proposed. Lack of choice.

A stay at the top!
We arrived very late at night and we were only able to exchange with the lovely host that the next morning but everything was ready to arrive: a small envelope with the room card and a clear and detailed explanatory note for our Installation. The room was clean, nice, well appointed, just like in the photos.
The next day, passage to the reception. After having reassured our good arrival and inquired about our first feelings (many questions and attention, very professional) our host was held at our disposal throughout the duration of our stay (moreover thanks again For troubleshooting the cleaning solution for my view lenses).
In short, a great stay. We will definitely get back to it.
Small Plus: The rooms are equipped with a cooker and essential equipment but do not forget to provide a sponge and dishwashing liquid.

A family place and an exquisite treatment on the part of all the staff.

Very good reception, the concept of a duplex room is a good idea.
The kitchenette is well equipped.
Maybe some dishes are missing. (some customers would have been served? )
Small negative point, a refreshment of the paints, toilet bowls and bath joints would be necessary.
But that won't stop us coming back!

Basic but cozy place, kitchen in the room and private outdoor space outside the room. Close to various services.

An uncharming Hotel resembling a budget hotel on the edge of the highway and offering false views of the landing beaches for the superior rooms that are not! breakfast with that first price industrial products!

Excellent! Feeling at home in Normandy… We had a great time and we have already returned twice, the hotel is nice, strategically located for those who want to visit the landing beaches and visit the region, the rooms are beautiful and very large, in winter is super hot, the breakfast is discreet and always fresh, the Super friendly staff and speaks perfectly Italian and English. A few meters a very good restaurant of the same management… Recommended!

We booked a room via booking or this hotel indicated that the superior rooms had views of the landing beaches. In the end for a room of category superior to €90 ' the night with DPJ we had a Studio with a small window read you had to lean to see the sea! I reported it to the Director who did not want to hear anything! We're on the edge of the scam! The hotel is in fact a hotel residence with the warmth of an economical hotel of ZAC!

Fantastic attention, the room is great to go with kids, all very clean, the only downside is the not having the restaurant open on these Christmas dates,, I'm sure outside of this time, the place is 5 stars. I want to thank Dalila (receptionist) Her attention to us.

Good hotel when you want to visit the area of the landing beaches.
The room is good size and the bedding is good.
Good value for money.

We sleep very well there. Good bedding but room lacking cleanliness. The reception was great. The very nice and nice young woman. I strongly advise against the restaurant or it is very cold (forcing to eat with its coat) where the chef has to go learn to cook and where the proportions are very low for the price paid. In short a disaster.

It could be a very nice place to stay (good location) but maintenance and cleaning are poor. Very basic breakfast. People are very friendly and helpfull.

Very good hotel with a first class restaurant and excellent car parking. Free wi — fi and dog friendly. The location could not be better, a two minute walk to the excellent beach. Lots of history in the area relating to World War 2.

Stayed in room 8 on ground floor. Bathroom smelt a little odd but think thats the cleaning product. Cutlery drawer was a little dirty. Overall though room clean and well maintained. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking plentiful. We had motorbikes — no covered parking but felt safe and secure. Well located for Gold /Juno beaches. Local shop v expensive try not to rely on it. Breakfast at 10€ each seemed a little expensive so we didn't have. Nearest fuel is at Bayeaux or Couselles the latter is 24 hr card.

Sweet friendly place! We spent there a week during Christmas time and loved it, so we came back again to see how Normandy changes in summer… Not only the rooms are clean comfy and big, very warm in the winter, cool in summer, but the owner and all the crew are very kind and polite, willing to help and to give tips to enjoy Normandy. Great!

A well situated, clean, spacious hotel with a good-sized room and mezzanine level for the children's 3 single beds. Good self-catering facilities too.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Gold Beach Hotel. We received a very warm welcome from the staff and each time we past reception they acknowledged us. The hotel is in a great spot, large car park. We stayed in a superior room for 4 nights. The living area was compact, but absolutely fine. The kitchen area was great, everything you needed for a few nights. Separate bedroom upstairs, lots of wardrobe space. We would definitely return.

Stayed here for the past 6 or 7 years. Ideal for my father aged nearly 94. Basic rooms but ideal for what we need. The only problem we had was reaching up into the cupboard for cups etc, not ideal for a short person or anyone with disabilities, far to high, otherwise an excellent place to stay. The restaurant over the road, part of the Hotel, Italian is excellent food and excellent value. Keep up the good work Vito and Marco.

Amazing stay. Traveled with a group of about 60, and the two guys that run the place made endless accommodations for us. Amazing stay for a group, or for backpackers, as this place is not fancy, but a bed to rest in, but with a very friendly staff. A minutes walk away from the beach. The resteraunte is nothing overly special, but again, they made accommodations, and were very happy to do so to ensure the best stay for our group. Very friendly staff. Would recommend this hotel to anyone as long as you aren't expecting fancy.

Nice cozy accommodations perfect for visitors to the Normandy area. Rooms consist of a living area with kitchen and a larger bed. Loft with three smaller bed is nice and clean. Very cold at night on the lower living area. Staff is nice and fluent in English, and are extremely helpful throughout the visit. Breakfast was good as well.

Very good hotel with a real buffet breakfast and especially Vito who is the limitless kindness always near to help.

There is nothing better in terms of service to spend a few days in Asnelles. Very nice, perfect, quiet, spacious room, view view on the sea, parking place and the unbeatable value!
