This is for the second time we have had the pleasure of returning to this sumptuous hotel. It was on the 7th floor that we discovered our very spacious room with a magnificent panoramic view of our very large balcony. A very well designed bathroom with multiple shower and bathtub. What more can you say than happiness! Remarkable breakfast without forgetting the staff always at our little care.

But those nostalgic for the old location on the harbour will regret the stunning view that was enjoyed there.
Moreover if the regulars enjoy seeing the employees forever … very friendly. You have to do it very early in order to book… The establishment is a bit of a victim of its success.

Decent hotel nothing exceptional as for breakfast. See the various reviews on the booking sites. I was expecting more

Great location, lovely rooms. However the bar Is a fun free zone, they genuinely do not want you in there.

Recent hotel with the current Mercury standard. The very dark decoration can surprise but it is made fast. A small fitness room at the first for some exercises. For the meal do not expect anything great the also it is to the standard of hotels mercury very industrial and for having tested a lot this one is not in the best. On the other hand the staff is very helpful.

Hotel located in the Centre of Cherbourg, 2 steps from the train station.
The rooms are nice and clean.
The breakfast is quite expensive (€17) but very hearty.
Beware however if you choose the PDJ in room because the choice is very limited for the same price and can therefore make it a little "indigestible"
The team is super friendly and caring.

Visit the Mercure thanks to a concert of jazz organized regularly, the room is very large and few welcome many people, the staff and welcoming and smiling.

Hotel with a very nice view day and night rooms are large.

Omg this was an amazing hotel. With stunning views the room was large, light and full of amenities including a Nespresso machine. They staff were friendly, helpful and very patient with me trying to speak French. The worst bit was having to leave.

Have stayed here a few times, and will stay here in the future. Friendly staff, nice rooms and they really good if you have young children.

We had several lunches and one dinner at the restaurant of Hotel Mercure Cherbough. I have to say, our meals at lunch time were excellent: home made seafood soup and fresh salad — what can be better? However, we were a bit disappointed as it did not match our expectations with dinner meals. My oysters came warm, amd my hisband's sea bream apparently has only one side. The menu was misleading. … Finally, cafe gourmet (if I spell this correctly), could be better made and arrenged if one to pay 10 €. The staff was lovely but spoke very little English and unable explain dishes … so, I hope they improve and we will be back again…

New hotel, standardized Accor mercury, we like it or not but we know what to expect. Clean and functional, perfect for travel.
