A very cozy hotel with a great location in the Latin quarter. There are plenty of cafes and shops around, bus and subway stops, Cite Island with its attractions and Luxembourg Park. Attentive staff. The only negative in the summer — there is no air conditioning with replacement of it on the fans and at least a small refrigerator in the room — the absence of the latter is not critical, but still. In general, a solid "four. " Due to its advantageous location a significant option for subsequent placements when traveling to Paris.

My family has been staying at this hotel since 47 years ago! It is comfortable and well located. Next to public transportation, bars, shopping stores and restaurants.

Wonderful boutique hotel. Less than 10 minute walk to notre dame. Can't beat the price in the area. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful visit. Merci!

Very small room. But it's in the Latin quarter where all the sights are nearby.

The hotel is small, but my room is big. Breakfast is worth the 6€, I recommend. There is an elevator, although it's ridiculously small, it works well. It's possible to have a fridge in the room, but you have to pay an extra 3€ per day. Hotel staff are very nice, speak French, English and other languages as well.

Hotel is in a wonderful location. Very close to so many stores, cafes, restaurants, landmarks, and transportation. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel, within a couple of hundred feet you can access seven different bus lines, the metro is right around the corner, and a quarter of a mile away is another Metro station with access to the REB B & C trains. NOTE: no A/C. I had the room right over the entrance to the hotel on the main street (Saint-Michel), not a problem for me, I'm a deep sleeper and I had the windows closed. Room was comfortable with a large functional bathroom (shower only. ) The front desk was always open with a great staff. Wi-Fi was so-so. I would stay here again in mild weather.

We were very well received. We felt very comfortable. Good location It has narrow staircases but with elevator. The rooms are very good and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for luxury it is not the place but if to rest, leave your things in a safe place and give you a good bath.

The location of the hotel is a short walk from the center of Paris. Close to the metro station and RER B, which offers direct access to the airport. Charles de Gaulle in 40 minutes. Near many different cafes and restaurants for every taste, including from the usual US-2 McDonald's, Burger King and Starbucks. Almost opposite the shop Monoprix, working up to 23:40, in the range of which there is everything from alcohol and fresh strawberries to dental brushes and cosmetics. The 82 bus runs directly from the hotel and takes you to the Eiffel Tower in 20 minutes. The hotel staff is very helpful and pleasant. All rooms honestly work out their 2 stars-unpretentious, but clean and cozy. Our room had a shower, toilet and TV but lacked a fridge and safe. Wi-Fi is available but works slowly. The beds are not creak, towels are changed every day, the windows are quiet. Lift for 1 person with suitcase (good thing we stayed on the 2nd floor).

Rooms are simple, but bigger than average, and they're very clean. Staff is friendly and they managed to get us a minifridge, free of charge — since the rooms don't have any. You can order breakfast and it seems good value.

The location is very good but the equipment is simple, the room does not have the refrigerator and the hot water kettle, only is suitable sleeps and the rest, the service personnel attitude is acceptable.

The location is unbeatable! It has an elevator. If you want you can have breakfast there, but it's full of bars and cafes. They do not know Spanish but they are very attentive. In winter it is very well heated!

It is in a fine location, next to a lot of fine tourist locations. The breakfast is not included. The hotel itself is fairly sized and one room at most holds three. It is overall clean. The beds are comfortable but nothing is exceptional. The elevator is slow and holds two at most.

Good for now, but in the middle of the stay we changed the room is a shit. When we arrived we were told that there was no problem and after the runs they moved the room, very poor attention.

Excellent location. Rooms were a little old and dated, but overall decently clean. The view from the balcony is lovely. We stayed in December and the heat was constantly on full blast even though we turned the thermostat all the way down. Also the elevator is tiiiiny.

Excellent location, you are in the centre of all the tourist attraction. You can walk to most places from here. The river side is 5 minutes from here and the station to go to the airport is a 4 mins walk. Facilities average, breakfast ok, rooms ok. Hygiene good. Nothing fancy.

It does the part to stay, but it does not have any luxuries, the rooms are old although with good size but contrary to what they say out there, the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired, come on, what is said… It cleans where the mother-in-law passes.

Very central location. Basic. Ideal to go to sleep. Excellent connection with public Trnsporte.

Its an great hotel, the service is amazing they are really kind, the breakfast is good if you want a typical french breakfast, the croissants are amazings and they give you plently coffee, but I rather have with jam and chesse insted of ham and butter, the beds are no so good but I compensade with the great location.

Very nice Hotel and good value for money. Centrally located, it is very convenient to travel and has more than one Metro stop very close by. Rooms clean, Wi-Fi working, only flaw the reception 24h is not very responsive: when we returned around 2 o'clock at night they opened the door only after twenty minutes of waiting and several phone calls, since the doorbell was not answering anyone.

Hotel located near Metro, nice welcome, room of correct size on the boulevard but not bothered by the noise, old fashioned decor, only one take at disposal, the next day the room was made without any care with bed cover posed quickly made and crooked, the bed also is crooked, the bathroom is old and difficult to maintain with apparent pipes, no place to lean over the sink and mold on the joints.

A good hotel, nothing fancy but covers the basics: clean, in the city historical center, spacious bathroom, free Wi-Fi. We didn't try the breakfast.

Excellent attention from all the receptionist, they speak Spanish mostly and they are always there to help. Good value for money.

My stay here in April was absolutely wonderful! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Clean rooms. The hotel is just the perfect Paris experience. Small, but has everything you want. Great location! Minutes walk from many wonderful places like Notre Dame, Luxembourg, Pantheon, and very close to Metro. I loved this place and I will definitely stay here over and over again! Serviceable hotel, good location. Fixtures/hotel are dated however it is clean, quiet and a good value for the money.

I really enjoyed chatting with the friendly staff who provided great service, room not 5 star, but a fabulous location for an easy walk to a number of highlights.

At the beginning it can be a bit outdated and old are all carpeted, sure that it is a very old building, but you gradually get used to its charm, which help the cleaning, tranquility, perfect state of preservation as well as the location in which is. Although it is not cheap but generous and delicious breakfast. Totally recommended.

The staff is very good. The location is perhaps what most I would highlight. It is within walking distance of the RER, also very close to the restaurant area. Ideal for a stroll. Possibly not I had the best room (603) but the fact is that above all the bathroom is completely obsolete. For the rest there is no objection. The Wi-Fi connection was correct.

This hotel is wonderfully located: close to the bus, metro and RER, which allows to save a lot of time, wherever you go.
The area is lively and there are restaurants for all tastes and a multitude of movie theaters, nearby at Odeon.
The staff is particularly friendly and croissants in the morning, tasty (breakfast room, which is a real luxury for me).

It is a hotel that I go for several years now and always location, I welcome the improvements that have made into the quarters, the Internet, the friendliness of its employees.

We stayed at the Grand Hotel de Suez from 20 to June 24, 2014, 2 adults and one child 5 years.
We were fine. The staff is friendly and the location is wonderful for reach by foot all the main sights and is well served by public transport (bus, metro and RER).
Regarding cleanliness, no objection, to the extent a forgotten corner, but nothing tragic.
By the way I thought they changed towels, and linens at least once. The beds were comfortable.
The room (207) was spacious and more than enough for 3 people, anyway we spent no time because we were leaving at about 10 o'clock in the evening to return 9.
The only drawback, which is also that of most hotels in the world, is the light passing between the tent in the morning: I woke up early, as opposed to my wife and son that he could not care less)

Excellent location — on the main boulevard St. Michel. Also very close to Cluny metro station, and a 10 minute walk to Notre Dam Cathedral. The size of the room was pretty good. The staff were also nice and helpful. Wi-Fi Internet is decent — however requires a detailed sign in process at the reception desk before it gets activated. Once done, it was good enough. My room had decent coverage. No ventilation in the Rooms and bathroom, felt very stuffy. Bathtub was not cleaned well. Shower head was kept coiled on the tub, as the hook for keeping it placed up was broken. Have to hold the shower head in your hand while showering. Room did not have any A/C system. 2 small cooler fans were placed in the room, but was not sufficient to ventilate and cool the room. Floors are carpeted. Lift is extremely small.

Just back from Paris last week. Stayed at De Suez for 3 nights. It is a great place to stay. Very well connected in the heart of the city. Though a 2 star property but was nothing less than a 3 star property. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very cosy and neat and clean. Will definitely visit this place again. the family room and triple sharing rooms are very spacious. If looking out for a budget hotel nothing can beat this place. Minal.

Clean, friendly and very good location on the Rive Gauche. A kettle and a couple of cups in the bedroom would have been appreciated.

Really friendly staff. Clean and nice room. Would be great to have kettle and cups in room to be able to make a cup of tea. Brilliant that there was free Wi-Fi. Really central as was no distance from Notre Dame and Pantheon. Would definitely use it again.

In the past April (08) my girlfriend and I stayed 5 days at this hotel. The location is very good, you have the RER half a block and get fast where you want. The surroundings are cool, there are shops, restaurants and places that knowing is very pleasant to walk through that area. The room that we had perfect and from the balcony you have a beautiful view. The reception people attended us excellent.
