Hotel in works… the hotel did not even bother to specify it when booking.
He's dragging dirty towels in the middle of the month. In the showers I asked for a commercial discount that remained unanswered.

Comfortable bed and good location. Staff helpful but the rest is awful.

Very good location for walking to the Louvre, D'Orsay, Pompidou. Comfortable beds and micro bathroom. Noisy street (late night revellers, not traffic) so ask for a back room, although it gave us nice evenings people-watching from our balcony. Half-renovated it seemed dodgy from the entrance but was fairly priced for what it provided.

I am staying currently at the APPI hotel in Paris. They are very rude, dirty, have bed bugs and dangerous. The stairs are shaky. The rooms are dirty. They double sell the rooms. I found a bed bug in my bed. I witnessed how they sold the Russian couple room whilst they walked outside for 30 minutes. Never stay in this rubbish place in central Paris. Respect yourself…

It was okay for one night, but I won't book it again in this state. Even an F1 hotel is better. They started renovating though, so it will probably improve.

Picturesque neighborhood frequented by women of bad life and populated with Sexshops. My room was redone but the hotel is very creepy. Shaky and dangerous staircase, patched…

Overall the room is correct but poorly insulated. Works that start at 7:30. Key to the bottom door that does not work.
No information on work schedules and time to make the room.
The price is far too high compared to the environmental pests.

Terrible rooms, terrible toilets, shower in general a disaster. The hotel is renovated, which is also not the best way to affect the accommodation. Polite staff, so two stars, not one.

Very good location as it is close to most of the tourist sites, but the rooms very deteriorated and do not look anything like the photos they publish.

I do not recommend it at all. I was on the sixth floor, no elevator. Shower and toilet in common. Cold shower During the duration of my stay, a smell of the most unpleasant in addition… a room with the strict minimum, a bed (which leaned), not comfortable. To troubleshoot a night it passes, but the more you abstain.

Cheap accommodation in the red light district got up early to use the one toilet and shower per floor. Great location … back packer paradise… Like something from disney movie, crooked staircase and landing odd shaped doors and passages into rooms unfortunately a bit run down… stag or hen party on a budget would be perfect. You get what you pay for.

For that price room is not good enough at all. Very cheap quality. Woodruff is broken and stored tills toilet mirror in side. Telephone is not answering at all.

Really good location, a 10 minute walk to the Louvre. Price among the lowest found. Overall acceptable conditions; The impression coming in is not the best, the stairs are shabby but the room (with adequate bathroom) was renovated except the door, a bit shabby. In 4 nights They only changed the trash and put back the toilet paper. I would recommend it to young people and those looking for a place to sleep without too many pretensions!

This is absolutely unacceptable hostel in poor condition with holes in the floors and cracks in the ceiling.

Good for a lone visitor on a very short trip. Not recommended for families.

I would like it to be known I have a fairly high tolerance for putting up with a bad situation, generally to avoid the slightest bit of conflict. That said, I can honestly say a majority of my time spent in the Appi Hotel, was demanding a refund for the night that I was not going to spend there. When I originally booked there, I read the reviews prior. What I read was either good, or awful, but all fairly vague. The biggest cons that stood out in the reviews were; the area, the shared restroom, stairs, thin walls, and one mentioned bed bugs. With reading all that, the pros of the cost and proximity to train station seemed to outweigh them. There were comments mentioning how none of those things, except for the bedbugs, were as bad as they seemed. After weighing everything out, I decided to book. Once I checked in, I saw that all the poor comments about the hotel were accurate. The shared restroom, is shared with the entire building. The toilet room, on the 3rd floor, was a toilet in a room just big enough to close the door when you sit down. There was no elbow room, toilet paper, or sink in it. It was filthy and clogged. The shower was in a room not much bigger than the toilet room, equally dirty. With the thin walls I could hear when someone went into the office two floors below. The main issue that I found with the stairs, was that they were all bowed in and was more of a hazard going up and especially down.

The location was pretty good and staff were friendly, but bathrooms are very small and dirty, I would not recommend it to a friend.

Very nice receptionist! Good location, however a bit sketchy, lots of peep shows and things about. Booking with expedia/Travelocity was misleading we didn't realize we would share a bathroom with three other rooms. We couldn't stay there and walked down the road and stayed at an amazing hotel for 50extra euros a night.

A small but fine hotel.
For this price you may expect not much, but still get what you need.
Of course, the bad of a hand normal motorhome is twice as big and the crooked stairs.
The service is perfect for it and the location in Paris for this top prize.

Great location, convenient to Paris around the subway on the street corner, only a 15-minute walk from the Louvre Museum. There was lots of food and shop around. Hotel is clean and tidy, staff were friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

I liked the hotel for the most part. It was next to a strip of adult stores but that didn't bother me. There was a MonoPrix; picture a TJ Max or Kmart, around the corner and down a block. There are a few late LATE night kebab and sandwiches places close by which was wonderful. It wasn't far from Centre Pompidou or Notre Dame; easy walk, over a few blocks and then straight down. Lots of local places to hang out that were overflowing with young adults just enjoying life. the not so good. The shower and bathroom facilities are TINY. I don't know how any female is able to maneuver in the small space while using the bathroom. Also it wasn't really a bathroom. It felt more like a hole carved out of a wall with a door on it; the door wasn't even to the opening so you could see between the door and the wall very easily. The shower was even smaller; imagine a telephone booth with a stand up shower in it. Then imagine 10 inches or 25 centimeters taken up as the standing area to close the door. The door is a sliding door with an opening less than 12 inches or 30 centimeters wide. I could barely fit; I had to start at an angle and sort of rock my way into the shower. It was a hose shower head but no place to attach the shower head to; so you had to put the hose down, wash yourself, pick up the hose to rinse and then put the hose down to wash more. No room to dry off so I just put my clothes on me wet and hurried back to the room.

Yes walk distance from metro. BUT more than 30 minutes walk to notredame in fact, one towel for 2 days and when I am having shower I cannot just make sure that I am fully in shower both! So small. There is a room with bed. Just that.

Tiny hotel in the center of Paris, at a walk-distance from the Notre Dame Cathedral. The rooms are small, but comfortable. Generally fair enough, relatively to the price they ask.
