The bedroom was nicely decorated with a large cupboard to hang and store your clothes. There were interesting pictures on the wall and a spacious balcony. The bathroom was small, but well set out. A lovely hotel, walking distance to Notre Same, the Left Bank, and the Marais.

I’m glad we chose this charming hotel. Something different to the usual type of hotels we have stayed in. The hotel and location has a typical Parisian atmosphere, with many cafes, pubs and restaurants close by. Would stay here again.

The first day went well. The hotel is well-located, and the first receptionest I spoke with was kind and accommodating. However, the second day the receptionist saw me bringing my friend in (who I told them — during the initial reservation — would be staying with me on day 2), and yelled up the stairs “Can I help you? ” As though we had no right to be there. I told her I had a reservation. She rolled her eyes and demanded that I pay that instant. I asked her to allow me to get my purse. When I asked her what her name was (to lodge a formal complaint with the owner) she refused to tell me. She was working on June 30, at 2:45pm, so I plan to figure out who she is and hopefully succeed in having her reprimanded. If you appreciate kind and courteous service, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Sweet hotel, great location, pretty rooms, but extremely strange staff. We were told we MUST provide our email and phone number. Have we not made; It was said that the police were asking for this; However, we did not do so. Then there was a shrug of the shoulder and suddenly it wasn't a problem after all.

I love Paris and this sweet hotel added to my experience in a beautiful way Having the elevator in an otherwise vintage setting was a real plus.

Positives: Location A few steps from the tower of S Jacques J; 5min on foot of Notre Dame 10 min from the Sorbonne… In short L ideal! And this at a reasonable price! Room really very clean and well insulated from the street noises of Rivoli!
Negatives: Very small room and mattress not very comfortable, breakfast at 10th could be included.

Funny, small, windy hotel. The interior design is… individual. The craftsmanship of the charming individuality can certainly be argued, but it was clean, and the price was OK. The location of the hotel is great for a weekend getaway! In the direct vicinity there is a great bakery and also a piece of the Parisian nightlife…

When we booked this trip hotel we didn't expect much but it went way over our estimation.

Beautyfulhotel I enjoyed all the pictures and old decoration it Was amazing, personal are kind, friendly, clean room yes ITS in The middle of the city but, just I used to sleep to late, because I take a walk at night and see Paris or just talk with friends its vacation the crew hotel wanted to clean… I needed I sign (not clean ;-). ) but thanks anyway. TOURIST be carefull there are thieves on the street (21:00) I got bad experienced.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Really friendly and helpful staff and only a ten minute walk from some of the best places to visit. The elevator was my highlight, though. If ever staying in Paris again I will always choose this hotel! Thanks to all!

What a dump. Everything about this hotel is tired and unloved. Totaly overpriced.

Stayed in May 2012. The room was clean, service was good, and the view was nice. We had a room on the 5th floor facing the street, and the street noise never bothered us. The only negative was the bathroom — — which required a large step up to get into the tub.

Good position next to Hotel de Ville railway station. Has a lift and small but cute rooms. Bathroom tiny but functional. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Plenty of places just outside the door for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Two stays in Paris in this warm and typically french hotel. Decoration to the old, everything is clean, no complaints. Breakfast although expensive, rooms in perfect condition. There are even rooms with balcony, you can see Notre Dame, the centre Pompidou, the City Hall, street of Rivoli… and much more. Close to everything, this hotel is great!
In the heart of Paris, you can do better!

Pro: Optimal position for visiting the city, lively neighborhood full of restaurants, very close to the underground station and minutes walk from Hotel de Ville, Notre Dame, etc. cons: Bathrooms essential and small.

After a booking by phone 48 h in advance, I have to change my stay in Paris.
The home confirmed my booking without me indicated that the latter was not cancelled less than 48 h in advance while I was paying the normal price.
When I reminded 2 hours later receipt of the confirmation e-mail, they wouldn't know claiming that the General conditions of sales were registered on their website. And that he'll get back to me if they were unable to re-let the room.
Obviously it was not the case (but no way to validate this of course). It is always unpleasant to see after the fact that it's got himself into a trap.
Even if the Hotel is well located, the finishes are as to the appointment (during my previous stays at this hotel) and especially in the bathroom.
And on top of that they promised to send me the Bill and I waits still for more than a month!
No long term vision not customer satisfaction management and the latter prefer to earn the cash, even if it worth them a negative opinion on GOOGLE +.

Amazing little find in the historic district of Marais. My boyfriend and I were looking for an inexpensive yet luxurious place in the heart of Paris, and we found it here. Our room was comfortable, with a wonderful view overlooking Rue de Rivoli. From the balcony we had an excellent view of Notre-Dame and Hôtel de Ville. Just a few steps away, we found cafés, excellent restaurants, a pharmacy, a supermarket, wine bars, bakeries (boulangeries), and all of the French necessities. The staff was hospitable and welcoming and we felt safe staying here. The metro nearby (in Saint-Paul) is the one metro line that will get you everywhere: to the Champs — Élysées, the Louvre, and more. My boyfriend's only complaint: the bathroom is a bit small, and the shower head is a bit low (he is 6'2"). Otherwise, we have fallen in love with this and hope to return soon. This hotel is a hidden gem; we will be back.

I booked by telephone by calling my credit card number.
I booked for 2 nights then canceled the morning of booking for one of the two nights, and the card has nevertheless been charged without my agreement for two nights.
The interview with the owner was rude, and this person told me that on his site it is written that we have to cancel 48 hours in advance, what is wrong if you visit their site.
It's borderline in terms of honesty.
