So historical! I loved the elevator! Small rooms but updated, they are historically accurate to the architectural structure of the original building… Awesome little balcony, and a beautiful view of the tower at night! So close to everything we just took the train and walked!

Great location. Lovely foyer and the little balcony over looking the park was icing on the eclair!

Very good welcome, well centered, super clean, the staff was very kind and helpful! I highly recommend it!

For Paris this hotel had a HUGE room! Sitting room with a toilet, separate large bathroom and bedroom. Everything was clean, staff was friendly. Breakfast was small but had a variety, even a park across the street. Would stay here again!

Wonderful, only one night but a wonderful experience. Thank you Michael for finding my grandaugters harry potter wand and to everyone for their patience and friendly service with our grandchildren. We will return next year for a longer stay.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating!
Rooms were ok, a bit old and audible. Rooms in themselves clean in the bathroom but were still hair.
Beds very soft.
Location well there close to the metro.

It's very clean and decent. Hotel staffs are very friendly. We were on the 6th floor so can't hear any noise. Though elevator is very small and this isn't a 4 star hotel.

I would not classify this as a four-star hotel. You can hear your neighbors walking above you, the pillows are not very good, the bed is Decent. They don’t provide one complementary water like most 4 stars do. I would call it a 3 1/2 star. You can’t black out your room because the bathroom has a big window in it with no curtains and the doors from the bathroom to the bedroom are glass. Very noisy if you are a light sleeper. It’s an old building, they did a great job with the decorations and the design but you can literally hear your neighbors walking around above you and it’s very loud. The location is pretty good though, you can walk out of your hotel and find a small market where you can buy things in a ton of restaurants and other types of shops. About 18 minute taxi to the Eiffel Tower. You can take a nine minute walk to Notre Dame so it’s not too bad. I just would classify it as a 3 1/2 star and not a four star.

Not really clean, hair dryer was sticky. Rooms are very location, you hear everything. Not really 4 stars. The standard room does not have any real bathroom doors (glass doors), are not lockable and can not be closed (wing doors). The shower as well, the water flows out. Maybe we got a bad room too. The mattress was pretty through, so you thought you were sleeping in a hole. We reported this on departure and the staff wanted to take care of it. The staff is really great.

The hotel is OK, the standard room is cozy and clean, though maybe something small considering the price of the hotel. The bathrooms are equally small and only include soap and shampoo/gel tablets. Breakfasts are composed of pastries, toast, eggs cooked or pasted by water, cereals, yoghurts, some sausage, toast, coffee juice, tea… If it were not because it is very expensive, I would have put better note as it is quite nice. The outside rooms have some street noise.

Very good, cosy, Notre Dame and Louvre in walking distance.

Def not 4 star tiny room for the price and can anyone tell me just checking out what is 5 euro tax on top of price each night!

Really nice service! I stayed there for 2 nights, and got a great room, with a nice balcony. And the location is just perfect!

Its good to be here with family but sorry for noise from tops and besides since it was built by more than 50yrs old.

Hotel new and clean but so noisy! Catastrophic interior insulation. We hear the neighbors, the hallways, the elevator and even the reception from the rooms… too bad.

3 words: location, location, location. For what it is it is perfect. The rooms are tiny. Pack only what you need to survive if you are staying here. And the balcony goes a long way. But the service is good and if you want to be in a great district near many subways this is an excellent hotel and affordable. Not luxurious if that is what you are looking for but if you’re touring all day this will suit your needs.

Stayed here for 2 nights while in paris and found it to be nice. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. One big downside is the bathroom isn't especially private as it has no lock and is semi see-through glass which is very awkward when sharing a room with family. Overall a pleasant hotel that probably isn't quite worth the amount you pay to stay there.

Very nice hotel in the centre of Paris. The room is small but very nicely furnished with a good bathroom.

I enjoyed my stay but rooms are really small, even for Paris, so pick only if you're alone or a couple. Wi-Fi is honestly a joke and the entrance always had a odd smell. Customer service was allways exeptional. Front desk was allways manned and greeted me nicely every time I passed by.

Small downside: the lack of card for room service and the lack of price of the minibar.

Nice boutique hotel in good location. Very friendly staff however rooms quite small, AC not working, mini-fridge not working and the room had poor sound insulation between rooms. I'd stay again however I question their claim to 4 stars, more 3.5 stars. Comfy bed and a nice balcony in our superior room.

Nice little boutique hotel situated in a convenient part of Paris. The city bike station right outside is great for getting about.

Rooms are small but cosy, mine came with a balcony overlooking the park, and free fast and unlimited Wi-Fi (who doesn't love that). Showers are strong and the shampoo isn't entirely useless! Only a few minutes from Sevastapol metro. Pick up the International New York Times on your way out.

Lovely hotel but as always in Paris, small rooms. A little more attention to detail could have been paid but all in all, great value for money.

The hotel is inexpensive compared to other hotels in the heart of Paris. He pleases and the place of its location, and rooms. I had the last floor in the attic and simply stunning views of the city! room small, but cozy. The area is quiet, beautiful, with the Louvre 10 minutes on foot. In General, very good price/quality ratio.

After a weekend in Paris for lovers, I booked a room at Golden Palace 4 stars for 197 euros night Breakfast included, this hotel does not deserve 4 stars, just a 3 star, small rooms, rather soft bed, bathroom with bath, breakfast is served in a beautiful room on the ground floor, but the products are disappointing for a 4 stars (product 1 price) damage I would stay at this hotel on a future trip to Paris.

I stayed in this hotel July 15-19th 2009. Because I'm a heavy sleeper, I didn't find out until the middle of the last night there that my bed was infested with bed bugs — I woke up at 3:30 a. M. Covered with bugs. It was the single most horrifying experience I've had in recent memory. The incredibly itchy welts that popped up every time the temperature got above 80 made the remainder of my holiday sheer misery. I looked like I had chicken pox for like 3 weeks. And, of course, they insisted that I pay for the privilege of being eaten alive. The rest of the room was third rate, at best. I wanted to get a different hotel when I arrived, as the carpet was stained, the paint was peeling off the walls in both the bedroom and bathroom and the door jams were mushy and rotted with mold. The housekeeping staff (surprisingly, they have one) is incredibly rude and will scream at you if you're not out of your room by noon. All in all, it was misery at this place. You'd be better off to sleep in the park across the street. I've tried to contact the hotel since my return home, but of course, they have not bothered to contact me, save a pass-the-buck email that said that the manager of the hotel will contact me immediately. That was over a week ago. I'd avoid this hotel and all Golden Tulip hotels in general.
