I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. Never did I feel judged or not welcomed. I was worried about walking into a hotel bar after backpacking across the city of Paris. This was not the case we stopped for a drink where we were treated with respect and care next time I’m in Paris I will be staying here just from my experience at Bar 8.

The waiters made it clear to me that when I came to have a cocktail with friends at 23:30 on a Saturday night, I was disturbing.
They also made it clear to me that I was out of place here.
Obviously you have to wear overpriced clothes and shoes to be considered a minimum down there.

The hotel is very beautiful and chic. The tea time was delicious and flavours were full of originality. Our waitress was nice and very professional, she knew her job and the menu by heart. I definitely recommend.

Let me mention about breakfast first. Twice that I ordered soft boiled eggs (3 minutes when asked by the waiters), but what I got both times were hard boiled eggs! Too bad this review doesn’t allow me to post the picture. I also left some of the eggs so that the chef see how his 3 minutes soft boiled eggs turned out like. And it took more than 20 minutes perhaps because the other 4 members of my family ordered more sophisticated breakfast set ie Japanese & Hong Kong BF. Even …that, it should not take this long. One of the customer at the table next to us also ordered Japanese set but decided to leave before the food came cause it probably took so long. All in all, this is the worst breakfast compared to the other 5-star hotel in Paris! The rooms are equipped with state of the art technology but the lay out (floor plan) is not practical at all. The junior suite has so many small walkways, and partitions within the room, making it appeared smaller than it is and also make us feel uncomfortable.

+: Perfect for drinks, lunch, dinner, and also to relax at the Spa that has a stunning swimming pool, beautiful treatments suites and Aromatherapy products — : problem with management/ client service. They don’t answer the phone, don’t call back at the spa when it’s been a while I’m trying to make a reservation for a gift, answer with a way to casual way (at least in French) … not a 5 star hotel from that perspective! A pity… the place is beautiful and well located!

If luxury has a shape, this is that of Mandarin Oriental Paris. A real resource to relax after a long day at work. The service is the best I've ever found in a luxury hotel, fabulous spa with state-of-the-art pool and fitness center. From the Panoramic Suites you can see the Eiffel Tower, of course to take your breath away. The Camelia restaurant offers a thousand and one night breakfast. I suggest dining in the garden where, immersed in zen nature, you can drink a good glass of champagne.

Absolutely fantastic. Just checked in with fiancée and settling in to an exquisite, luxurious room. Can't wait to eat at the restaurant later tonight. Just off to the gorgeous bar!

I was very thrilled that this hotel offers a vegan friendly lunch menu. Ordered the veggie burger. 32 Euros for a very simple lentil burger and some fries. Truly nothing exeptional. Nice staff. But the meal is not worthy of a 5 star. The Shangrila Paris is serving a vegan tea time menu which is absolutely amazing, creative and delicious. Your chef truly needs to up his vegan cooking skills. If you offer an expensive meal, it needs to be worth it.

Very friendly receptionist who shown me the way to washroom when I was just a guest from somewhere when I was on an urgent. Definitely will try to book this hotel on my next trip to Paris! Bravo!

Refused for lunch on a Tuesday, refused for a cocktail on the same evening. I am used to luxury hotels in Monaco and the French Riviera, where I am always more than welcomed. By the way, people working there are really unpleasant. Not recomending at all! I'm very disappointed and angry.

Dinner on the family Camellia. Great hospitality, from the valet to the staff room. Kitchen subtle and personal. Nice wine list but be careful of the budget is rising rapidly, in line with the positioning of the place. The service is pleasant, attentive, and efficient. It is necessary to provide a duration of meals rather consistent, the service quick not about this table. This allows you to enjoy the moment and that is good.

A gem. A smallish boutique hotel in a superb location on the left bank and practically next door to Musee D'Orsay. Charming staff and an eclectic interior design by Christian Lacroix. Great restaurants and bistros close by.

I went there twice ❤️ First it was for cocktails, it had cozy and chill ambience so perfect to linger during the lazy day. Lots of cocktails choices but the service took time though. Attentive service indeed. Quite pricey, 27€ glass, but bisch it was good. Second time it was for the brunch. Lots of choices and all of them were fresh and delicious. The main dishes were to die for. Recommended.

Perfect location, exceptional service, and an astonishing view from many rooms (whether it be of the courtyard, street, or the Eiffel Tower itself)!

We ordered our cocktails and had to wait more then 30 minutes to arrive, next to that we ordered 4 tapas, one called croque monsieur supposedly being with truffle ; the only truffle taste we had was the price 27 euros! Next to that the other tapas never arrived ; but the waitress had a very nice smile. We fell for the typical cliché : " palace = ripe off place " we will. Never go back.

Very nice hotel and bar outside with glass roof. Cocktails are great and cost 27€. Nice tapas as well. However, I found that service was too slow, we had to waive the waiters over several times to order and waited a while before getting our drinks.

The rooms are incredibly relaxing, comfortable, and stylish. The restaurants are of superb quality with impeccable and unobtrusive service at every turn. Guests are welcomed like family and your every request is granted with graciousness and a smile. 5 Star accommodations and service. There is none better in Paris.
