The kindness and gift of people of their employees and who speak several languages is appreciated. The rooms are very clean and cozy. You don't hear any noise from the other rooms and that's appreciated. Overall a hotel where we would definitely return. 'll.

The hotel offers excellent value for money. It is easy to get to via the metro and is close to Montmartre. The rooms are basic but clean and maintained. The welcome and sympathy of the staff is remarkable. I do not regret it at all and recommend it warmly.

Booked a twin room two months in advance, nothing they could do they say. Complete bs. A terrific location and a decent hotel on a budget, if only the staff or management were held accountable for their wreckless attitude towards their bread and butter… Guests. Difficult to be positive.

Renovated, clean, personal very listening, value for money excellent for breakfast too. Room on the courtyard very quiet, window in the bathroom with bathtub.

Low rates. The hotel rooms are good enough if you're traveling alone or with a friend and if you're noot looking for a luxorious experience. Great access to Paris underground, plus you can easily walk to most turistic attractions. Finally, morning breakfast was enough for most needs.

Nice, but the hotel was a little bit small, as well as the room they gave us. We did not eat at the restaurant, but it looked very small. One of the pros was the fact that the rooms were clean, even if when we arrived, we found a bottle of water of the previous guests.

I stayed 5 nights Finally, very good value for money and not far from the center. What disappointed me was the "environment" side: every day we replaced my towels, and threw the soap on the sink. Detail that should be easy to correct.

Small hotel with good location in Montmartre. The rooms were quite small but very clean and functional. If you have a room on the fifth floor overlooking the street, you also have a nice view of the surrounding houses. The beds are comfortable but unfortunately no double beds. The reception staff could be a little friendlier.
The location of the hotel is great for city trips as the two subway lines on the doorstep are fast in cite ' or at the Arc de Triomphe and Eiffel Tower and the Moulin Rouge is only 3min on foot.

Small hotel with a good location in Montmatre. The rooms were quite small but very clean and functional. If you have a room on the fifth floor with a view of the street, you also have a beautiful view of the surrounding houses. The beds are comfortable, but unfortunately no double beds. I spent four days and the room was spotless. The bathroom was shining. The staff are very friendly. There is everything and for the price I found the room really good. The location is very close to several important points in Metro. The only downside is that the housekeepers would come knocking at 9:30 sometimes to find out if one is there and sometimes the noise they made by cleaning the rooms D next door. Compared to another establishment of the same category, or I spent 3 days I found it much better. I will return to this property if I return to Paris.

We had a very pleasant stay at Modern hotel. Spacious room, comfy bed, but what impressed us the most was the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely will return here on our next trip to Paris.

Nice Hotel Modernized rooms and ample size. Comfortable and very clean. Very friendly staff. French and English languages. On request you can include basic breakfast. WeFi complicated, it doesn't always work well.

We had a very pleasant stay at this excellently located hotel in the centre of Paris, a 15 minute walk from Galeries Lafayette and the opera, and 5 minutes from the Moulin Rouge. The room and bathroom are basic but they are very clean. The staff at the hotel are nice and the breakfast is correct for the room rate. Highly recommended if you want to spend a few days sightseeing in Paris.

A desepcion, the staff never well disposed, the horrible bath, and even a small rat in the dining room, when I commented: Said Q They threw a spray,!, until that moment and just there, they understood me! Wi-Fi never worked a horror again! "I am not to complain! But this I am.

Positive: clean, fairly tidy and good location.
Negative: Very small bathroom, non-existent breakfast, very furnishings.
Good only to sleep and be a tourist.

A basic but lovely hotel. Ideal for the tourist who wants somewhere to lay their head after a day in the city Basic breakfast. And if you are down late, not a huge selection. But the coffee is excellent. Rooms are well kept, comfortable and feel safe. Staff all very kind and helpful.

The breakfast was very small, but the room was very clean.

Super disappointed! During our stay they were painting the walls, lift door, etc. The look and the smell of the hotel was a disaster but we did not complain even if they did not bother to inform us about this refurbishment and even if it was inconvenient for us as guests to have to smell such an awful smell and to stay in a dirty place. Unfortunately, we had an early flight and we forgot few clothes in the wardrobe. We immediately called the hotel and informed them about our belongings. For some reason, they couldn't confirm immediately that our clothes were there! After a few days, they confirmed that our clothes were found. After a month of phone calls, unanswered emails and promises that they will send these items to us, we were finally informed that our clothes were thrown away! Very unprofessional. From the beginning their attitude showed that they were not interested in helping and taking care of their clients. I totally do not recommend anyone staying in this hotel.

You put customers into another hotels and you do not inform them about it in advance. After they arrive, they do not have other choice (it is not easy to find another hotel the same day, you know it and you rely on it). Customers are forced to stay in another place they did not choose by their own. You say it is the same category hotel but definitely it is not! You are not fair to your customers! The Head of Reception told us that it is normal, that you normally put customers into other places when you are full. What kind of behaviour is this?!

Staff was unfriendly from the get go. Place has no AC and if it's hot they won't even give you a fan. They turn you down by saying we are a two star hotel. They also will allow only two towels a day. Once we complained that someone had entered our room as the TV was switched on (we never even knew where the remote was). They responded saying they were technicians who came to fix it. But we never said there was anything wrong with it! Worst was that I had to wait half a day before I could extend by another day due to. A change in my itenirary. Frustrated I moved to another hotel. Also they ask u to pay before u check in. Location is well connected.

Hotel with no shame and no praise. It is worth the stars declaring. Friendly staff. Wobbly staircase. Spacious rooms to be in Paris. Good prices. Good location too. Cons is not at all modern: you can smell the paint and the rooms to the side ours were still with the work going on and with the Masons waking up at 8 in the morning.

Service is friendly and welcoming, can't take that away from these guys. There was some construction going on with seriously loud banging that would knock a small budgie clean off its perch. Other than that, for the price, you can't go wrong on this one as it is clean and cozy.

Not far from Montmartre, near Metro station. There was a café nearby. Supermarket prices are cheaper than downtown.
The hotel has two stars, not big. The number is not bad, but small, 5-7 m2. Every day they clean, change towels, toiletries. Breakfast was croissant.

Room changed two times — what us was first denied. Mold on the walls and curtains. Mattress stains and the location. Hair in the room. Dirty carpet. The third room was then more or less acceptable. Lady at the reception unkempt and anything but friendly. Breakfast was OK and staff said to the very nice lady. For the price, I was expecting no luxury, but at least clean. Real good, this hotel is but never again the situation.

Location and who would need a good scrubbing! The elevator is small, one has the impression that it will fail with each use.
In addition we liked the sound of bomb that makes the elevator door when it closes, it's very nice to wake up with a start at 2 in the morning when a neighbor come home late! What about the room, you could hear the neighbours as if they were in our room. The shower is extremely small, we could hardly wash our feet we lowering! When staff, friendly and a little sly. Especially do not recover your room cleaned before 15:00 even in filing your key at 07:00 in the morning. In fact when we arrived we had the pleasant surprise to have the key to our room without it be cleaned following the passage of the previous client and the grand finale, according to the receptionist, it soon was our fault! Very good value for money hotel. Very clean, bathroom redone to nine and friendly room. This lift unlike other hotels in the same price. There is a local to keep packing if necessary.

The greatest asset of this hotel is the personnel. Very helpful and polite. Breakfast is also plentiful for the price you pay. I also liked the location, but you must know in advance that monmarte is the immigrants quartier of Paris. Other than that, is very safe. It was very clean, with hot water around the clock and new towels everyday. The disadvantage is the old facilities of the hotel and the lack of Wi-Fi in the rooms. 5 stars for the personnel, 3 for the building.

The Hotel is NOT modern. The carpet was horrible, the bedding had yellow spots and didnt smell fresh. The Lady making breakfast wasnt friendly and couldnt speak english. Two of the receptionists were friendly and spoke well english. The roomkey were given the guests without controling whether it is their key. I wouldnt prefer this hotel and wont check in it again althoug the location was very good. Even if you dont spend a lot time in there, you want to sleep in good environment.

We discovered mold in the bathroom and sleepingroom, so the air quality was very bad. We had a room towards the street. Sleeping was not possible because of the noise coming up from the street. The carpet and bedspread were broken and very dirty. The furniture in the bathroom was totally damaged and had Water damage. The Lady, making breakfast, ignored the dirty dishes on the tables, so we couldnt have a seet. And she even didnt recognize us. Also the receptionist didnt want to have any feedback while checking out. But what sucks most, is that the offer on travel24 is much more extensive, than on your one Site. 60€! is a lot of money for dirty rooms and bad service!

Had a GREAT time at the Modern Hotel. As a Tourist, I didn't really spend a lot of time in my room. The staff were accommodating in every instance. The location was PERFECT, lots of shops and restaurants right out the front doors, and was extremely close to both the Subways, Bus lines, and most importantly to me, 2 of the Velib' Bike Stations. All the major sites and Museums were less than 15-20 minutes away by bike, and I got to enjoy the beauty that is Paris on my way.
