My fiance took me here over the weekend so we can celebrate our 2 years anniversary and I must say I was quite impressed about the elegance of the hotel, about amazing view to Arch of Triumph, which is a great spot for pictures… stuff was very friendly and from what I know, they helped my fiance organising some surprises for me before our arrival to the hotel room… Champagne, macaroons, roses petals and other few things!

Its very near to arch de triumph. Very convinient location. Staff is very very friendly and hospitable.

The Albar Hotel House is a beautiful setting and located in an imperial place that distributes 12 avenues around the Place de l'Etoile. Establishment with a very friendly staff and very close to their guests with very clean and exceptional rooms. Staying there is adopting it. A must-see when you're in Paris!

This Hotel is so heartless. That
48 hours before checkin I called them to let them know that my husband was rushed to emergency for an emergency operation and that we can not make.
Can we reschedule another date and send them a written letter from the Doctor stating he was rushed and could not be help.
They said no to rescheduling my date even though I paid for the room.
So I asked to talk to the manager Kamel he was busy everytime I call, he did not even have the decency to call me back.
Customer service is a big fat O.

The rooms have good, if somewhat very stylish, facilities. Mirrors on the walls and vintage chairs with hole in the backrest you have to like. :) it didn't bother us. The location is simply top. You are directly at metro and bus. The view of the l'arque de triomphe is wonderful. The 50 euros per night extra for an upgrade to a room with a balcony was worth it.

But: No 5 star service. Super nice reception. Immediately afterwards, however, things didn't go so smoothly. No water in the room is actually no problem. If the concierge promises to take care of it immediately, but nothing happens, it's not so nice at 30 degrees outside temperature.

We cannot recommend breakfast. It is better to book without breakfast and go to the beerstation next door. They offer a good breakfast at a small price. When you enter the breakfast area at 7, you usually find yawning emptiness. No staff, no breakfast. If you're lucky, there are a few chocolate croissants, but you can't find a plate for them. So it's looking for staff, which is why you kindly ask at the reception. Also, to get a coffee prepared at the bar. The statement: "I have to see if I can get it. I do not have any staff in the area today, it is intolerable for a 3*house. In a 5 star establishment, where the night should cost between 600 and 1200 euros (price at booking immediately on site according to the price table) we were not sure how we should react.

Strong point. The location near all Arc de Triomphe. Champs Elysee. Restaurant. Store. Pharmacy. Very welcoming and friendly staff.
The downsides. Old hotel, The decoration of the room very ugly. The quality of the bedding. Non-existent soundproofing. My room on the street. I could hear all the traffic. Plus I was on the first floor. There's a bar underneath so no way to sleep until 3am. I could hear the voices. The sound of the tables. It was really hellish. Poor breakfast not worthy of a 5 Star hotel. I will not go back to this hotel. Frankly for the price there's really better and more comfortable.

Traces of foot in the wall tapestry, the bar partly consumed before our visit and a leak in the shower. For a 5 star I find this more than limited, nevertheless, the location is nice just like the neighborhood, the mirror on the ceiling is original, the Japanese toilet also, but a simple visit is sufficient in view of the competition of the surroundings.

Wow, an amazing hotel with fantastic staff! We stayed here for our anniversary, and I was not disappointed. The hotel was first class, extremely clean and very arty with loads of character. All the staff clearly take pride in working here, and were more than willing to do everything they could to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. Once told it was our anniversary, they pulled out all the stops to help me surprise my wife with a little something special. Can't wait to return — highly recommended. We stayed in the executive room, as rooms in Paris can be quite small. Our room was perfect, and even had a little balcony.

Very well located in front of the triumphal arch, a 5 star special charm has an affordable take.

Very good reception when we arrived at the hotel. We felt right away very well in this hotel. The rooms are spacious and the bedding of very good quality. The bathrooms are clean.
The location is exceptional!

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this hotel and here is why. Number 1: it is NOT a 5 star hotel. I paid more than $320 /night for a "superior room" they gave me a 10'x10' room with an airplane-toilet (see pictures) Number 2: on arrival, and after realizing that I was screwed, I confronted them and asked for my money back, they refuse to cancel my reservation and charged me for one night which I was forced to spend with my friend awkwardly on a single bed despite the fact that my reservation was for a double bed room. This hotel is a scam. I told Expedia about it and I hope they remove the 5 star rating because it is simply not accurate.

Very design-y room. There was a Japanese shower-toilet in our room, but it didn't work. Good bed, good shower. Located very very close to the Arc de Triomphe.

Hotel is said to be 5 stars with rooms that smell of cigarettes. Work at the window at 8:00 in the morning.

Paris is the city of love, a wonderful and beautiful city on its own… but staying at this hotel made our trip to Paris an unparalleled experience, the hotel is very well located, tastefully decorated, the staff provides excellent attention. My husband and I would stay at the just for two nights, and the truth is that when we got there we felt so comfortable and loved it so much that we decided to stay two more days. The last night the hotel was full, and we were wonderfully lucky to stay in your best room, super spacious and spectacular. Definitely a worthwhile taste! Without Doubt, when we return to Paris we will stay here.

I had a first holiday with my boyfriend to Paris during December. The hotel was absolutely beautiful, clean and staff extremely friendly. We are already planning a second trip.

My wife and I stayed five nights at Maison Albar. The hotel staff were absolutely wonderful. The individualized services provided by Leon, Fabian and the entire butler staff was incredible. A truly wonderful experience.

Great service, incredible location just metres from the Arc De Triomphe and public transport (metro and bus). Staff are exceptional and are always happy to help. Special mention to Leandre who greeted us on the first day and was very helpful throughout our 6 night stay, he always went above and beyond for us. When we return to Paris, we will be staying here again. It's a fantastic hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great hotel. No pool but staff is great and the rooms are big and modern. Wonderful shower and advanced Japanese toilet as well. Location is very good too!

Comfortable and clean hotel. Great location next to arc de triomphe.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are small but I think almost all rooms in Europe are small. It's very clean and I love the decor. Accessible to all the main attractions too.

We stayed for two nights from Friday to Sunday. Staff were very nice. Room was nice too but a bit small. The alarm in the whole building went of every morning at 7-8am for 5 minutes, which at first was worrying as you didn't know if you had to evacuate or not on the first occurance, as there was no communication. Then it just became annoying as it was very loud and woke us up when we didn't want to every morning. To top it off the Air Conditioning stopped working when we came in on Saturday evening and as it was about 25-30 degrees, it made that evenings stay very uncomfortable. Overall this is a nice hotel and probably would have given it a higher rating if it wasn't for the alarm and Air Conditioning but expected much more from a 5 * hotel.

Good value for money by parisien standards. Decent beds, nice touches. Quality breakfast for a fair price.

As a business owner and an employer, I was so very pleased to meet and interact with the ENTIRE team of the hotel. Our trip to Paris was a “special” one, and I am so very glad we chose this hotel! The location is absolutely remarkable. Having walked the street of Paris for 7 days, I do not think there is a hotel in a better area. The proximity to the metro, main streets and major monuments is just perfect. What was most enchanting to me was to observe the dedication the staff has for the imminent success of this new hotel. It was such a pleasant atmosphere, each team member assisted us; regardless of their title, their functions, or occupation. About Mr. Charles A. K. A. Carlos Grillot… During our everyday lives we take for granted the significance to be polite, educated, schooled, experienced and gracious. Charles was all of those and more! Had the pleasure of staying here last week. Amazing hotel with incredible rooms and in the best location. All the staff were great, they went above and beyond to ensure we had a great service. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again.

The hotel is clean and the service was good. But they mistakenly double charged me They can provide a Wi-Fi router thhat you can use every where in paris for a small deposite.

It has good food and has good vacuum cleaners.

I was with family from 21 to 26 June with reservation in Imperial suite. The room to be suite is not very big, has balconies but most of all has tents. The bathroom is very large. Upon arrival there was no bed for girls we have said more than once, and then as we were dressing came one type to make the bed. For two days we had no hot water, they just said it will be the coach. At the reception there was a friendly little lady. I gave good instead of poor reception for 3 days only because there were two gentlemen really friendly.

Hotel right next to the fields, and the movie Mac Mahon. Perfect for tourists who would like to have a place to sleep in the heart of Paris.
It is close to all public transport: RER, metro, bus… The prices are a little expensive.
