Review of Art Hotel Eiffel 3*

The staff were very rude and were not prepared to take responsibility for a mistake on their part. An item of clothing was taken from my room on the first day of my stay. The item was quite an expensive piece of clothing, but more importantly it was very special to me being a gift. I had used the safe in the room for items such as passports and money but its impossible to put clothes in there! I called reception the same day and they told me that they were not responsible, and to call back the following day for the supervisor. I called the following day and spoke to a different person who also told me that they were not responsible, were NOT the supervisor, and to call back the next day (which was my check out date). I went to reception the following day for check out and spoke to the supposed supervisor who told me she was not the supervisor and to email the following day in order to reach the supervisor. She promised me that someone would call me or respond to my email and I expressed my concern/ lack of trust but clearly they have no compassion. Unfortunately I am now back in London and have emailed with absolutely no response. If something like this happens all you really hope is that the hotel gives their best effort to take responsibility and to at least be accomodating in conversation and not be so rude to just dismiss you and lie to you. I would advise caution to anyone looking to stay at the Art Hotel as this experience is not limited to losing personal belongings, but is more about how the staff behave towards customers. You could experience anything negative here and the staff will not take any responsibility or provide any assistance or care with the matter.
