For us this was a must-have step. We will go back.

We had a great time, breakfast was not at the level of the establishment!

Very nice Relais & Chateaux, lost in the middle of a park. The staff is very careful, we had a great weekend. The restaurant is well worth the two stars!

Beautiful setting, very well looked after. Rooms superb and very comfortable. Excellent Restaurant and finally not too expensive if you go with the tasting menu. Sommelier at the listening tastes and the client's portfolio. Only downside may be for some : the staff, the little care, with the hosts, is not "modern" and the service can go towards the fawning.

Completely rude and inattentive upon reception. Had to wait for room on a 36C day in a room filled with the odor of smoke from the fireplace. When brought to room, there were dirty glasses and an empty vodka bottle at the bottom of the stairs and the room was still dirty when we arrived. Totally uncaring toward my husband who wears a knee brace, particularly when intimating that he was of some undesirable nationality. Cancelled reservation and drove home. Absolutely unacceptable treatment.

Great place. We got ripped. 33 euros for one glass of a quite common lagavulin whisky: one nasty surprise upon check out. (Really) overpriced and the barman probably just gave us the priciest on the menu without asking us.

Fourth visit in four years… it is far the memory of that good table!
A rather friendly staff, an enchanting and always perfectly maintained…
However, my God, the dinner…!
But what mediocrity, what fuss… And yet he makes efforts Chief to marry red cabbage not seasoned with the back of quickly eaten deer (two bites…! ) Too many mixtures, not simple, a fatty liver with mushrooms, finally a barrette of foie gras without taste married to a bed of…? impossible to tell… For those who love salty sugar made a visit, but if you like the appetizers and if like me you do you an idea of the suite, last night the pitch was right and was not wrong. HA if, a small tasty mouth before waiting for twenty minutes the first dish… a fine, rather successful emulsion on a bed of mashed white beans. Even my grand mother knew doing this, it was enough at least to add a dash of cream and salt and pepper. I don't speak of the small gourmet coffee desserts, he better not.
Otherwise, nice place, nothing to say… except maybe that this refuge of Americans in need of Loire Valley don't challenge anything the chef so it is easy to make believe… What a disappointment. Except the bottle of Evian, excellent but 14 euros, it's somewhat normal.

Restaurant tries well. Service very attentive. Perfect for exploring the castles of the Loire.

2 michelin stars. €76 menu, has a kitchen a presentation and a perfect service.
