Magnificent!
A great stay, very welcoming and warm staff and caring. The building is filled with history in the heart of the Montée de Fourviere and the view is breathtaking.

We came twice and we were always very satisfied. The hotel and the surroundings are beautiful. The welcome is very helpful, a lot of attention and the staff is very smiling.
We got another room than the first time, very nice and very clean.
The exterior is still as beautiful and pleasant as ever.
There was just a little more waiting to get the room back but otherwise nothing to complain about.

My wife and I have loved the hotel. It sits on the hill overlooking the old town, so it has a great view. When we arrived, they provided us with some great fruit juice made locally while sitting out on the balcony overlooking the city. The rooms are very nice, and the staff has been incredibly friendly and helpful. We are very happy to have begun our stay in France at Villa Florentine.

Magical Souvenir in terms of the frame, the service, the comfort and the equipment of the decoration of the room plus an excellent table and a perfect service.

A flawless one! Exceptional setting in this ancient Cistercian convent, an exceptional view of Lyon and especially on the St. John's Cathedral, which lights up at nightfall. Spacious room. To not spoil anything the staff is adorable!

A breathtaking view of Lyon. We organized this seminar in this sublime place where the panorama is equal to the quality of the kitchen. To not spoil anything the staff was as discreet as helpful. Five stars!

Fabulous 5 star hotel set on the side of the hill below Fouvière. Views over Lyon extend to the French Alpes on clear days. The service is excellent and the staff are very friendly. You can walk down directly into old Lyon via steps on both sides of the hotel. You can also walk up to the beaitiful Basilique that sits on top of the hill through a lovely park. The walk is however steep and is easier from top to bottom!. The hotel is home to a Michelin 1 star Restaurant Les Terraces which I will write about separately.

We where very disappointed supposed 5 star but they turned the A/C off the day we arrived and it was 32deg could not sleep no offer of compensation.

The Florentine Villa in Lyon offers one of the most beautiful views of the capital of Gauls. Meal as part of an invitation formula with wine granted to each dish. Simply Divine. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was fine. Each product composing the dishes were full of perfume, taste, flavor… Thanks to the chef and the whole restaurant team.

The hotel is located on a hill, giving it a great view of Lyon. The rooms are very nice and cleaned often. The staff are extremely courteous and always willing to help with any questions you may have. The concierge is very knowledgeable and able to give recommendations for great restaurants and then make reservations for you. The hotel's restaurant is pricey, but the food was exceptional. The stay has been great so far.

The restaurant is remarkably located with a beautiful terrace that dominates Lyon. The dishes are of quality in a modern style, but without excess, the service is remarkable, the wine menu very well chosen with a very competent sommelier. Only downside, the coefficients applied to the wines are high, which will make the wine lovers cringe.

Very attractive and the staff was very professional and attentive.

You have to climb a flight of stairs to reach, a steep flight. Moreover, all restaurants are closed on Sunday and Monday, even residents have no other option other than to order room service. Location is not as great as they make it seem to be. I'd recommend the M Gallery by Carlton (this isn't endorsement).

Fabulous luxury resort hotel that allows visitors to combine a city vacation with lounging by the pool in a scenic environment. My only minor complaint is that the "jacuzzi" was lukewarm and spurted cold water, but this is a general problem in France where they seem to not understand what a jacuzzi is.

Wow was just here for a few minutes to try to grab lunch but was greeted by an extremely unfriendly restaurant manager. I think it's just unnecessary.

Close to 300 Euro price, price! Not bad! Can't say too good, but not featured. Can live, we can think about it, parents felt, or a four-star hotel worth, although the price much cheaper, but services and buffet super good, eat well, go! Your reference.

It is not enough to book more than one month in advance! Once your booking has been made, you need to stay near your telephone to take many calls of their commercial, to give your e-mail address to confirm your booking (2 or 3 times minimum because it will not transmit your message when you call the umpteenth time to confirm your arrival).
Then, when you're traveling abroad (it takes hard work to pay € 157 per person without drinks), we will contact you again to ask you to confirm your booking. You call again to confirm and we'll send you your booking confirmation.
Finally, after having turned on your phone two days later you will be pleased to learn that your booking for Valentine is cancelled (less than a week before so done to try to find another table). In fact, you have never called back to confirm.
You'll understand I can't comment on the food because I have the talent to succeed to eat same by taking me more than a month in advance.
As I said, if you're not afraid to be disappointed in the end and find you the spout at the top (immediately send a RAR check you may have more luck), be prepared to fight to confirm your booking.

The restaurant is a magical and romantic place.
The framework first, from the top of the Fourvière Hill, offers views of Lyon, this hotel-restaurant and garden.
Then the service is impeccable, and everyone splits into four to be in your care. But attention, without going overboard, this is neither oppressive nor insisting, no, far from it, here you realize anything that your glass is second helpings, we bring you what you were going to ask.
The dishes. A delight, a visual poem. Quality products cooked with respect see genius. It's beautiful, it's simple, it's good, very good!
An address that I would recommend, even if you have to put the budget. Intend to indulge at least €100 / person including wine.
