The house and each of its rooms are beautiful and the location is perfect. Each room has a colour theme and although the decor is of a similar style throughout, each room has it's own individual touches with interesting decorative items or furniture. Each room has an ensuite bathroom, which actually includes a bath, and fresh water and drink making facilities are provided. The addition of gowns and slippers was also a nice touch that you don't get everywhere. Breakfast is included fresh brewed coffee, French pastries, bread and (my favourite! ) delicious home made jams. You can reach decent places to eat and drink within literally a couple of minutes walking, as most places are in/around the charming town square. If you have a car you can also take in some amazing scenery, village markets and a château or two in the nearby countryside. Last, but not least, I write about the hosts. I think this is probably the warmest welcome I have ever received. Catherine and Jean-Louis are one of the nicest couples you will meet and they can give you great advice to help you enjoy your stay. This could range from where to take a day trip, to what produce is good to buy in the market, or which restaurants are open on which days. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend 52 to anyone.
