We enjoyed our stay here so much! It’s around 2.5 hours drive from LeTunnel at Calais and perfect for our first stop on the way to the south. We were met with a very warm welcome and shown to a parking space directly in front of the property.
We had a lovely room with all the amenities you would expect. The bed was very comfy. Tea and coffee is available in the room, and in the communal lounge area there was a plentiful supply of delicious homemade cake. This area also has plenty of books, a fridge with a stock of their beautiful champagne and some big sofas to stretch out on!
In the evening we had a charcuterie plate in Prise de Mousse just a short walk up the road.
After a good sleep we had a lovely breakfast of fresh croissant, pain au chocolate, bread, hams, cheeses, and smoked salmon as well as eggs cooked how you like them. Then a visit to the caveau to buy some of the beautiful champagne before our departure.

This place is awesome! It was very easy to get to from the highway and they were able to accommodate our late arrival. The room was spacious and well-appointed and we definitely enjoyed the air conditioning! The breakfast was very good. I highly recommend Les Bulles Dorees.
There is a refrigerator stocked with Champagne and soft drinks available on the honor system in the lounge. In addition, there is also a little wine bar a block up the road serving small plates that was very nice as well.

What a wonderful place to stay while exploring the region. The guest house was so well designed and they obviously spent a lot of effort converting it. Being positioned in the same building as the champagne bottling gave you a feeling of being part of the process and you could hear the clink of bottles in the morning.
However, the best part of my stay was the breakfast and more to the point the omelette. Don't miss it. It was with ham and cheese (goats) but I can honestly say it was worthy of a Michelin restaurant.
