Good Location, close to the border. Clean rooms and warm welcome. Rooms could be bigger! Parking is very easy around!

Top location, top staff, top breakfast, nothing to complain about.

The place is good value for money, there's an indoor swimming pool and rooms are plenty spacious. The few negative points are: Wi-Fi connection is weak, there's no air-conditioning and the breakfast is not included.

Friendly, for those looking for the essentials at a good price.

Great location at the Basel border! Bus stops right in front of the hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable with everything to cook. As a smoker I took a superior apartment for its large balcony. More expensive than a classic hotel, but economy in restaurants.

13.02.2018 Attention to Ouarda and ramie who mock the client royally, borderline insulting and who believe only in their workplace they can send ball to the client. People unable to question themselves and apologize.
Too bad that the manager did not appreciate that I put a review TripAdvisor, (yet I sent 2 emails) without that she would have discussed with the 2 employees in question and myself. Easier to guilt the client than look at the whole situation. But apparently, according to the director all the staff would have to complain about me (still happy, find me someone who has nothing to complain about someone and/or something, but the attic, when we return from 2 weeks of leave and we have not discussed with all the Personal, to be able to assert that, this reinforces my opinion which is even more negative than the previous one). Ah Ben entice the client to leave, it's even less professional. There it is the height, and the positive that there was was transformed into negative.
The best way for a customer to be even more negative is to blame him for his negative opinion and to reproach him for daring to make a point.
The reception is important, otherwise the customer does not feel well. And as Sandrine says, it's important to talk to the client.
Fortunately, since I arrived, I thank the same team that would seem to have complaints about me, according to the director. It serves to be polite, educated, but not treacherous, you get yourself.

Simple rooms but ours comfortable and well equipped. The staff are very helpful. The location is great. Recommended.

Very well located (a few tens of meters from the Swiss border, and about fifteen to twenty minutes from the central station of Basel by tram), my faith quite quiet, very clean, and very welcoming staff. Price frankly correct for the location, what to ask for more:)

Nice, clean, good location next to the airport, good Japanese restorant accross the street.

Good location and care. If you have to go to Basel, there is no problem, just cross the border walking without controls, and you already have the Tram that takes you to the center. The small room and something cold. It has a swimming pool. The breakfast is minimal, just right. You do not have daily housekeeping or change of towels. The frequency depends on the stay. In the bathroom can only give a gel shampoo all-in-one, no soap or conditioner. A plus point is that they offer a free airport shuttle and is very punctual.

Good for a transit ONLY not for 4nights! Superior studio — everything built small! Bed, bathtub cooking area near to your bed! No partition No dishwasher! No safety box unless you fancy your bed and the entire stuffs and yourself smells kicked arse. Not a nice design. Best to described this room as a low budget student room. Depressing room. No refundable or transferable to another Adagio hotel in Basel. 4 miserables nights. Don't bother book this hotel more than a night I would happy to pay a bit more in aparthotel Adagio BASEL. EASY parking on the bright side.

A good enough place to crash that's affordable and near Basel. Missing most of the amenities you would expect in an accommodation, including towel replacement and daily cleaning. Helpful staff. No air conditioning in the summer months. Odd "safety vent" circulation system that has air flowing out of the wall constantly; this can be distracting. Good location with restaurants nearby.

Horrible stained carpet, greasy Dusty fan, Spider webs at the Windows, dirty Windows, no exaustion for cooking. These are the reasons why I wont stay at this place anymore. Dispite this, is a very good location for visitting Basel. The hotel knew my request for cleaning but did nothing.

Very Good hotel. Staff was really helpful, so many food options nearby, not very far from Basel Railway station and Airport. Direct tram (11) from station to hotel and free drop off and pick up from airport is provided. And less than 2 mins walk from Swiss French border.

We spent three days in that hotel and we were really happy. Good services, such as free cab to the hotel, good price just 20 metres from Switzerland and good size for an hotel room.

Friendly, helpful and kind staff. Rooms are small, but quite allright! Small pool, great Wi-Fi, and although the bathroomis small, with a small shower, it's all very clean and quite enough! Would definitely come back if Switserland wasn't so darn expensive (as well as the breakfast)

The room was the carpet dirty and in general it needed renewal.

There was no AC working while the temperature that week was above 34. Not only no AC, but there was hot air coming out of the ceiling fans. I was suffocating! I had to take a shower with very cold water and sleep all wet so I can feel cooled. Even with this the hot air was coming to the bed… I felt I was in hell! There was an electrical fan to kind of help but so noisy, there was no way for me to sleep. I tried to open the windows, the noise of the steets and the cars was so bad! Furthermore, no cleaning service. I will never come back and I will recommend all my colleagues in our company from all Europe not to even think about going there.

Good price compared to hotels on the Swiss side. Rooms are functional with kitchenette (sink, hobs, fridge, kettle, coffee maker). Bathtubs are small though. The room that I reserved was described as having two double beds but it actually was one double bed and one sofa bed. Generally clean but the carpets have stains. Staff were friendly and helpful which is always a plus.

Service quite good and very well connected to Basel via the public service (bus and tram).

Adagio staff do not clean your room, and bearly provide enough pillows. The pool was freezing and very small. This would be a good place just sleep and go out but not very good for staying in the room for relaxing or staying in.

Nothing special, but good value for money and nice to be able to cook your own dinner.

No Wi-Fi is a huge pain, not to mention the lack of airport shuttle — which was advertised that they provide. That was the main reason we stayed here. If you want breakfast, it's expensive. Otherwise the rooms are clean, the bed is nice, but they couldn't give us more than 1 pillow, so we didn't have a great sleep. All in all, I wouldn't stay here again.

No Wi-Fi in the rooms, only cable (do they know it's not 1998 anymore, there are tablets and smartphones? ) Forced ventilation through the ceiling — UNSTOPPABLE. Very noisy, a whistling windy sound through the whole night. Completely ruined my night. Small towels only — no shower towels. Staff proved to be completely useless, they couldn't care less about comfort of their guests. Arrogant at times. Also, staff lied to me explaining the ventilation problem as "it's natural ventilation, depends on the wind, we can't do anything" — while it was clearly mechanical (and no wind that night). Breakfast not worth the 10 Euros: bread and croissants were not of the day. No hot milk, fresh fruit was greyish — not really fresh. If you want a good sleep, go somewhere else.

It's cheap and that's it. Don't expect the world and you'll like it here. Its a great place to lay your head and sleep. Good location to Basel center on the 11 tram, only takes about 15 minutes. For simple business trips, this is good enough.

Very convenient location. Clean and modern, comfortable rooms. Parking was a bit of a hassle, although the Hotel organized a permit for the street for our stay.

Quite decent hotel with rooms with a fully equipped kitchen, from shortcomings only, that there is no kondera, TV in bedroom is located so it can be carried and overlook the noisy Street, to sleep with the Windows open and pleasant. Parking it 6 euros. To the Centre of the tram # 11, stopping on the territory of Switzerland near the hotel. Basel itself begins 100 meters from the hotel. Hotel pleasantly pleased price per room, in contrast to the high prices of hotels in Basel, and was selected.

Internet is wired no Wi-Fi and alternately DISCONNECTED.

There I spent 2 nights, because all the hotels in Basel were fully booked. It proved to be a nice hotel with even a small kitchen in the room. St. Louis is a small French town with restaurants, supermarket, shopping etc. In the vicinity. Airport Basel/Mulhouse / Freiburg is very close (EasyJet fly directly to Basel! ) Public transport stops outside the hotel. Hotel is 100 metres from the Swiss border.
