Business rooms are old and run down. Rooms on 7th floor under roof are so hot that you need to have the old and loud AC on constantly. Shower is dated and very tight. Bed was actually very good and comfortable, as well as the pillows. Breakfast, spread out over 4 rooms, was nothing out of the ordinary, the usual stuff but no fish. Lots of fruit though. Very busy and quite loud. Despite being there before 7 I had to wait for a free spot, sharing my table with 2 other guests. Check out agent was very rude. Spend 15€ more and you can stay in much better hotels in this wonderful city. Will not be visiting this hotel again.

Going to the balcony after a sauna and having the view of Tori was one of the best things I have done in Turku.

Good customer service; clean and elegant rooms that come with all manner of comforts — including refrigerator, clothes iron, sewing kit, tea kettle and cups, bible, plus tea, instant cocoa, honey and a library of books in the hallway. The hotel breakfast is massive and caters to all types of alternative diets, including gluten free nd vegan. The best hotel breakfast I've had in years!

Hotel with an excellent location in the heart of Turku. The standard room we stayed in was big but dated. We slept well and the hotel Wi-Fi was fast. Bathroom was huge but the shower was a tiny plastic stall in the corner and the doors were falling off from it. The dreadful part of our stay was the breakfast. We were told already at the check-in that we should go to the earlier servings because the ones after 9:00am are packed. Well, we were on a holiday and didn't feel like getting up early in order to get our breakfasts. So, for the first time in my life I had trouble finding a seat at a hotel breakfast! Hotel staff was polite and helpful. We travel with bicycles and we could leave them in a locked garage for the night. The bicycle storage itself was very bad — no bicycle racks, even a sign that expressly forbid locking your bike onto anything. Would stay again but not for a premium price.

Fantastic Hotel! This hotel is one of the most historic hotel locations in the city right on the main town square. The staff were always friendly, and when we talked to them about the initial issues we had with our stay they went above and beyond to make our stay the most memorable experience of our trip to Finland! Nobody is perfect all the time, and the sign of true service is making things right when mistakes are made. The staff at the Sokos Hotel, especially Katja in the reception were really attentive and made sure we were well taken care of as soon as we simply talked to them about our initial issues in a friendly manner. I will definitely come back to the Sokos Original Hamburger Börs hotel next time I am in Turku/Åbo. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

On the central square of Turku, it offers abundant breakfast included from 6:30 in the morning. Suitable for families even with small children. Spacious, quiet and comfortable rooms. The structure is very large and includes the internal parking. Wi-Fi is free. Correct price for everything this hotel offers.

Clean and comfortable rooms, good service. Breakfast is excellent, but it is all days the same,, when you spend one entire week in the hotel it gets monotonous, they might offer more variety depending on the weekday, etc, They have a big sauna for men and a pool. But some days instead of opening the big sauna they open a small one which is crowd, I don't recommend going to the small sauna unless you go at first time otherwise it runs out of towels and sites.

Nice hotel in the centre of Turku. Spacious and comfortable rooms, great bathroom. Breakfast was very good.

Only downside: The last morning I asked for the alarm clock and… they did not wake me (less bad that I had also put my staff, otherwise I would have risked losing the plane)

Not the best hotel here, but rooms are great with the nostalgic look and feel. Hotels own parking with car elevator to inside yard.

Very good price performance for Finland. Free Wi — Fi and breakfast ensures a pleasant start to your day.

The queue to the reception was up to front door, so I went to bar and waited 20 mins for my drink. After an hour I gave up and went in the line. 30 mins later I finally was able to get my keys. The room was clean and the breakfast was ok. The service was friendly when you got there. So if you don't like waiting, I would spend my money elsewhere. I could understand, if there is temporarily a long queue, but now the situation was the same for 2 hours.

The Internet is wildly slow. The toilet brush is not. The breakfasts are good.

Superb for staying with kids.

Oh. A lovely time in hamburger bors in turku.! a memorable holiday spent there because the rooms were so luxurious, the bathroom so clean. A rich breakfast, the sauna bath, the swimming pool etc. Were so great. And the bar too was so marked. Really I can never forget the days I spent here.

Great hotel, and fair prices.

The dining room is grand jugend style but very run down. We arrived very early because we came by boat. We left our luggage in the locked luggage room and paid for breakfast (as everything in Åbo was closed). We paid over €35 for 2 adults and a 4 year old — ok. But it was horrible food. The scrambled eggs were powder mix and tasted foul. There was no choice of jams, breads, etc. They served cookies! The next day we thought ok, we will just make a sandwich and leave. The breakfast was even worse, day 2. It's a pity because the hotel staff was very friendly and the rooms were very nice and fresh. But that breakfast was nasty.
