It's downtown. The architectural style and the very location of the hotel at the waterfall are very attractive. History is still preserved here, which is also very important from a cognitive point of view.

Room in the old house is a kind of magic. Breakfast is more than just good… It is recommended to book a table for dinner in advance.

The hotel was only on excursions, not as guests, unfortunately. Beautiful and outside and inside, a lot of authentic interior items centuries ago in excellent condition. Near the hotel is a wonderful reserve, where quietly, quietly, and that Nebroskaya Northern beauty, which does not affect the riot of colors, and fascinates with rigor of forms and laciness.

The hotel itself with rooms is not in the castle itself, but in a regular building close by. There is only a reception and a restaurant in the castle. The hotel is quite decent, but the spa complex is quite modest. There's going to be boring all day. The men's sauna in our senses was not warm enough, the water in the Jacuzzi and pool was also somewhat cool and did not allow it to hang for long. The Turkish hammam in our weekend was closed for renovation. Breakfast is included in the price and quite decent. The restaurant in the evening is quiet and cozy, good service.

It's a beautiful place. Especially when open gateways, to the music of Sibelius! If you talk about the hotel itself, then autumn and winter there is more than cool. We cold even in the spa. Apparently FINA save on everything, even on heating. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Well, of course breakfast. Why the Finns and the coffee is delicious and cheese is cheesy.

The perfect place for those who decided to go cross-country skiing. On the luxurious illuminated highway exit directly from the hotel. Friendly staff.
Simple, clean, everything is new.
Breakfast was very good. In 9.00 seats in the dining room may not be enough.

Romantic hotel with unusual architecture among spruce forest with beautiful air, on the edge of rocky cliff with roaring stream running among the stones (when the gateway is open), beautiful views of the forest in winter and summer. In the room tea coffee is available and the heat can be adjusted. The balcony is very romantic. Everything is comfortable. The bed is great. Instantly fall asleep. It is also a romantic and mysterious passage from the castle through the underground corridor to the pool with Jacuzzi and sauna. The breakfast was excellent. The oil is excellent, curd, and other dairy products are fresh, there is porridge, herring. Pies national, bread home special tasty. Sausages. The city center is close by. There are museums, shopping too do comfortable, in the summer sit on the terrace of the city square with coffee or beer.

Had a couch instead of 3rd bed. The restaurant has limited food variety and very poor service. The spa is limited as well. Only two spa bathtubs and one very small pool. The breakfast it's quite nice but ends early at 9:30.

The staff are not so ok, if you have a question or a request It s better if you go smewhere else. The rooms in the old part are very small without Place for luggage and dirty.

Hei, minun on nyt kerrottava että yöpyminen hotellissa oli minulle aikamoinen pettymys. Varasin vähän paremman Superior-huoneen linnan puolelta minulle ja miesystävälleni syysloman alkuun, jotta pääsisimme lomafiilikseen. Kirjauduttuamme sisään ilmoitettiin meille hissin olevan rikki, mutta eipä tuossa mitään, nuoria kun olemme. Siinä ehti kolmanteen kerrokseen kiivetessä odotuksetkin jo nousta — minkälainen olisi tämä Valtionhotellin Superior-huone? Iso ihana kylpyhuone, parveke, kenties jokin ihastuttava erikoispiirre? Huoneeseen sisään astuessa tuli mieleen kuitenkin laivan hytti. Paikan tunkkainen, hieman viemäriltä tuoksahtava ominaistuoksu yhdistettynä pieneen neliömäärään ja kulahtaneeseen sisustukseen eivät vastanneen odotuksiani lomafiiliksen nostattajasta. Huoneen yhdessä leikatussa kulmassa oli kaksoisovet, joiden avaamista kokeilimme — eivät auenneet, kenties siivouskoppi? Noin kahdenkymmenen minuutin päästä sekin selvisi. Ne olivat ovet toiseen huoneeseen, jossa asui toinen pariskunta. He olivat vieneet lapset mummolle (joka kuulosti puhelimessa oikein mukavalle naiselle) ja lähteneet rentouttavalle kylpylälomalle. Mies piti television katselusta, ja naista harmitti miehen erinäiset pienet kömmähdykset, kuten paitaan tehty reikä. Näitä ja muita vuorokauden aikana selvinneitä yksityiskohtia oli toki hauska kuunnella alkuun, mutta pidemmän päälle tälläinen audiokimppa-asuminen hieman harmitti.

Beautiful historic hotel, nice restaurant and services, and excellent location. Some of the rooms in the Spa building could use some renovation.

In the mid nineties I have been traveling by my company car to Russia with all the little issues about visa, car registration etc. As I had a night in Imatra. In this beautiful hotel. Like in a fairy tale. Best dinning and drinks. Large clean rooms. Friendly staff…

We had a very good time, liked the children's attractions program, (True, in Finnish, but we did). Cozy small dressing rooms and saunas in a bathing water in the + 30 pool, Jacuzzi + 34, warm stone benches. The underground corridor connecting the bathing building with the main body is convenient in the cold weather. The location is excellent. Kaikki Oli Mukavaa!

Good location. The old building, the beautiful views of the Vuoksi Canyon.

Not a bad SPA, better than a hotel night. You can float in a sauna, be in a jacuzzi.
But not the first freshness.

Friendly staff, and a very good restaurant here. The breakfast wasn't that great for me however. The hotel is split into two buildings, a spa building and a castle building. I've only stayed in the spa building. The rooms are ok, though getting on a bit. Clean and comfortable however.

Very good, though not lived in it. Outside and inside the hotel resembles an ancient castle. Came here to drink a cup of coffee with a compliment from the bartender.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the building is constructed in the style of the old Castle. Courteous staff. Recreation in the swimming pool and sauna. Room cleaning, the only thing was not up to par. At the entrance to the room on the floor remained prominently displayed from a plastic bottle stopper, the tea set remained opened packages of sugar, but it's the little things that I have not returned. Just for your information.

A nice hotel, we liked it!

Very nice hotel with two parts. Old one looks like a castel a new building with spa and conference rooms.

I was there on a Bicycle rode from Svetogorsk is close to 7 km.
