I stayed two nights in Hotel Rantapuisto, this hotel has a perfect environment and amazing nice staff, If I remember right, Meiju, she was super nice to help for everything. I am very satisfied of my stay. Thank you!

Unbelievable gem of a hotel not too far outside of Helsinki central! Excellent value for the money. All of my pictures were taken just outside of our room which was almost on the beach behind the hotel. As you can see the view is marvelous. Hotel staff is friendly and accommodating. Amenities we enjoyed were the free bikes, free access to the gym/health club across the street, free parking and breakfast buffet included in our room rate. The quality of the breakfast food was excellent with a great variety. For those (like us) who are interested in items available on the buffet, here's what I remember… Coffee, tea, apple and orange juice, donuts, cookies, fresh fruit, various kids and adult cereals and milk, various breads/rolls, butter and fruit spreads, yogurt, mixed berries, raisins, mixed nuts, oatmeal, mild munster-style sliced cheese, ham, turkey, bacon, Karelian pies/pastry (Finnish thin rye crust with a filling of rice porridge, often mixed with chopped-up boiled egg (egg butter or munavoi as it's called) and I did see some of this egg salad style mixture on the bar at times, and I liked it! which is spread over the hot pasties before eating), roasted tomato, liverwurst, scrambled eggs (but these were not like any scrambled I've ever had before… They were soft and creamy. Tasted less like egg and more like the center of a very soft quiche. I enjoyed it!

Nice hotel, looks perfect to get there by car Big parking free of charge, quite fast check-in, I have been in room with sea view, really nice to look at sea coast in the morning or night, when the moon is full) In room very usual stuff, nothing else u will find there, bathroom with shower is clean and good condition. TV with some eu and local channels. Big window, possibly open on sides, secured from mosquitos. The bed is comfortable and clean, 2 pillows. Quite enough to sleep. The style is more or less modern with some authentic Finnish furniture. Tea spot with few teabags and small coffee packs. All cups are plastic, so the best way is to get some dishes from the restaurant or coffee spot near reception. The breakfast is ok, not so many things, but everybody will find something to eat. In rush hour possible you will have to wait for food you prefer. Not enough fruits as for me. Actually good alternative to stay alone with beautiful nature and calm down after crazy days) Thank you for hospitality,

It's a great hotel. It is a bit far from the center, but in a very picturesque place.
The room was small but clean. This applies to the whole hotel, everything is on the level.
Breakfast was great.

Very nice spot to enjoy a morning cappuccino. Grab a coffee and go to the sea. They have chairs over there. Minus star for the lack of snack options at the reception though.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this unique hotel in a truly remarkable setting! The local walks and sea views are fantastic and the metro station direct into helsinki is only 20 minutes walk away. Good restaurants a 25 minute walk down the coast. Would definitely recommend.

For many years we have been staying in this wonderful hotel. For such a period, there were different categories of numbers. But, the service has always remained good and the staff are polite. It's clean and quiet. The view from the window is excellent. Breakfast is wonderful. Parking is free. However, they have, not the first year near the hotel, there is some construction, and, it captures the territory of the hotel. But, I hope that everything will end soon and will only get better) )

Everything is perfect if you have your own car. Don't book if you're relying on public transportation in Helsinki.

Very Cozy hotel in a quiet area on the outskirts of Helsinki on the bay. Near the forest park with rabbits and other animals. The Nature around is amazing. The Rooms are cozy. Large parking near the hotel. Breakfast was very good. We Really want to go back again.

Great views, lovely walking areas, comfortable and clean rooms with sea view. The staff is polite and professional. The restaurant is very tasty, but the choice is small.
The breakfast is a good selection of dishes.
Location Highly recommend to those who need a break from the hustle and restore strength.

So friendly and hospitable that you want to come back here. The view of the bay is beautiful. The whole hotel is imbued with love and care for nature. He's a whole thing with her. Squirrels, mushrooms on the territory, birds are climbing nests. Good breakfast. Rest from the city noise you are provided.

It's a gorgeous place. And fishing is excellent. Blueberries grow straight to the shore. Quiet, clean and beautiful.

A good hotel with reasonable price. The lunch buffet is a bit expensive. However all facilities are available.

Fantastic hotel in a beautiful location. Food is Great, rooms perfect and this rambling 1960s built ex conference and training centre is architecturally outstanding. There is plenty of good walking to be done from the doorstep as this hotel is on thr sea. Our standard room had amazing views across the sea. The room was clean and comfortable. It is not located in central helsinki but there is an hourly bus to local metro station. Also you could walk to metro in 20-30 minutes. We had 3 nights here and would stay again. Free parking. Free Wi-Fi and breakfast included.

The hotel is not bad: spacious enough rooms with a beautiful view of the sea, a cozy foyer, a terrace and a playground. The restaurant is terrible! Once with parents there have supper and we will not go again. Absolutely all the dishes were not tasty, and after the fish dad became ill. The prices in the lobby are just cosmic. Nowhere in Helsinki did not see the water for such money.

This hotel became "our Place". We try to come every year.
The location is great and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. The room is comfortable. In no case do not take "forest view"-there are worse rooms. In winter recommending Superior room. Then there will be a free sauna.

Not much space in a room but you get value for money. Surroundings look nice, wood and gulf bay, looks more like a lake. Free parking, breakfast is included and choice of food is Ok.

Pleasant, quiet place on the edge of the city. It is absolutely not felt that you are in the city line.

Very nice hotel in the quiet. The staff is listening to you in English. The premium rooms with sea view and the ice pack are spacious. The curiosity certainly Finnish is that even in double bed it is each its duvet. Possibility to walk on the waterfront on 3km.

Good-natured smiling staff, beautiful building and charming wooded and rocky area, around very quiet and calm. The room was for 2 people, with a big TV, the room had a kettle and tea bags and coffee, milk, sugar, cups. Breakfasts are just divine, a lovely fireplace in the dining room. For a fee, you can go to the sauna at the hotel inexpensively, at the reception to take cocktails. The view of the sea and the forest from the hotel is extremely picturesque. Jazz music plays in the hall. Left under great impression.

Excellent place! Highly recommended. The magic forest outside, wonderful view, big shared spaces (bar, lounge zone), great breakfast, cozy and clean rooms, nice and courteous staff.

In the hotel come the third time. Very nice architecture, blending harmoniously with the surrounding nature. From the window the wonderful view of the pine trees and the Bay. Delicious Breakfast. But the rooms are in need of repair.

The location is nice but quite far from city center. Rooms are bit oldfashioned and need some refreshing. Breakfest is ok.

The location is excellent. Great for relaxation. Reception works from 7:00, so early departure is better to warn beforehand.

Beautiful area, nice common areas, I just really disliked the single bed, the width was not really sufficient as when I lay on my back, my hands were touching the sides of the mattress. Next time I'll take a double bed for sure.

Great views of the sea, the rooms were perfect, the staff was very accommodating and the Gym was wonderful. However the breakfast buffet was my favorite with thier large selection of food and amazing Smoked Salmon!

Enjoyed the location of the hotel, its interior, breakfasts and the restaurant as a whole. Friendly staff. Of the downsides, not very clean rooms (dust everywhere) as well as the problem with leaving the hotel until 7am (we left the hotel at 6:30 and had to run through the mazes of the hotel to get out, unfortunately we were not warned in advance about these nuances).

Nice htl in the forest. Clean rooms. Home main hall at reception. Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. HTL available by bus nr. 560 from metro stop Rastila. The bus stop nr. 560 located behind stair of metro. Direction to htl: Get off bus nr. 560 at Rautatientori bus stop (3 stops from metro cca 5 min). Interval of bus nr. 560 cca 7-10min. In the night operated bus nr. 96N from centre of Helsinki : Stop Ramsinniementie. You get to bus to same stop Rautatientori. Wallk to htl by 5 min. I recomend this hotel and public transport. From airport use tranin to Central train station (30/40min by using line of train) Metro from Ramsinniementie goes to Rastila stop approximetly 15 min. Use metro where is written Vueosari final stop. That goes via Rastila stop.

A truly fantastic place. Just 20 minute drive out of town. The sea wing of the hotel is located just some 30m away from the Baltic Sea. Breakfast was great, but the most important thing — the interior styling. A true gem in the world of boringly decorated classic hotels. Reminded me wooden architecture of summer houses in Soviet Union in the 60's-70's. Anyway — I you're fed up of boring hotels — this is just the right place for you.

When looking for a hotel in great natural environment, this had everything we hoped for. Our 2-bed room was largest that I have seen in any hotel! Sea side view! Very quiet at night. Good breakfast. Only 20-25 min drive to Helsinki center. Reasonably priced. I enjoyed my stay, will be considering this hotel again when traveling!

We held a conference at the Best Western hotel Rantapuisto. The organization process of the conference was very smooth and the staff was helpful. The day of the conference everything was ready according to the instructions. Coffee breaks and lunch were on time. The lunch buffet was very good. There was a wide variety of salads including roasted peppers, wakame salad, cherry tomatoes, etc. For the main dish the hotel accommodated for the dietary restrictions, thus there were vegetarian vegetable pancakes as well as slow roasted beef which melted in your mouth. Cookies and berry quark were served as dessert. After the meeting we stayed for dinner. The prices at the restaurant were reasonable and service was good. I ordered a chicken breast coated with pistachio and served with red wine sauce. The sauce had a light oaky taste that went very well with the pistachio. My only complain would be that the chicken was slightly overcooked. Overall, Rantapuisto hotel is a great place specially because of the beautiful location and the possibility to organise a BBQ-SAUNA-LAKE swimming event.

The hotel is in need of some modernisation, but other than the slightly outdated decor the place is stunning. The lake is great for an evening walk. The rooms are basic but clean. The hotel is dog friendly. Breakfast is very good. There is a large selection of food both hot and cold.

Good plant something in the years come but well within the shot. But! Mini Double Beds 1.40 m wide Poor air conditioning (always warm) Breakfast takes some getting used to.

A wonderful hotel on the shores of the Gulf of Finland.

Reasonably priced; excelent location, quiet and wonderfull nature around. Rooms are clean though not lately renovated. Good value for the money.
