Scandic Polar, seriously needs updating. £150 per night is shocking. Its like staying in Sheffield £26 per night Travel Lodge. Its filthy and very dated. No kettles in the room, 4.50€ for half a cup of coffee. The staff are very friendly.

Helpful concierge who told us all about amenities and was most helpful with suggestions. As time permitted she allowed us into our room upon arrival.

Emilia at Scandic Rovaniemi helped us out with some last minute rooms when our Airbnb fell through. She and other staff were so friendly, and our rooms were beautiful and luxurious. The breakfast buffet was the best I have ever seen at any hotel. We will definitely stay at Scandic again!

An affordable hotel with great amenities. The fitness room has multiple cardio machines (including two treadmills) and is open 24 hours, making exercise easy when you're staying here. The breakfast buffet has a wide range of vegan options, including vegan cheese and cold cuts. And the staff are so helpful: they booked me a massage for a great price right here in the city. Wonderful hotel!

Great experience. Staff were amazing. Food was delicious and different. Try the Reindeer. Just doesn't serve lunch.

Pretty simple and vulgar. Small room, small bathroom, but clean. Minimum shower and comfortable nonmuy.
Dining room, buffet type, mediocre breakfast, and without much variety. Dinner, very simple and few, options.
I don't recommend it if you are looking for a minimum of comfort or luxury.

First time to Finland. Have stayed at 3 Scandic hotels and all have been great.
Breakfast is very nice, rooms well appointed. Even had a sauna in one room! Highly recommend.

Always a delight to stay in any Scandic hotel. From the food, room, people and staff members it all sums up to an even better experience. The weather made the stay in Rovaniemi more favorable and we enjoyed the most. Thank you Scandic team for delivering the best to your guest, always.

Hotel is functional but comfortable, very well located and with plenty of Light in the rooms… The breakfast buffet is not as lavish as in other countries, but Eats well. Hotel highly recommended and quiet.

Great rooms. There very clean and quiet. Really close to all shops. I loved the heated floors. Kept my boots dry and toasty from a long night of chasing Aurora lights. Which were disappointing, but thats another review for mother nature. Staff provides exceptional service too. Always greet you with a smile.

Home away from home I should say. Very warm and cosy. Vegetarian food is a problem for Indian vegetarian but you can try bread and butter. Indian restaurants are On 5 min walk so not an issue there.

Beautiful, setting breakfast meal, everything was perfect… I recommend, go there without apprehension.

Very nice place. The rooms are quiet and clean, the personnel is nice and well prepared. We had a dinner at the restaurant and the quality is good also. We had hamburgers and salad, good quality for the price paid. Finally, the breakfast has a wide choice of continental food.

Good but they should provide a kettle and everything to make a decent cup of tee/coffee. Room service is not advertisedand pretty limited, almost inexistent.

Very well! We were half board, breakfast and dinner nothing to say on the other hand at the housekeeping level a little way! Be careful! Because we left without our hairbrush!

Good location The best location and facilities, quite new.

Although there is not much room for the regiment, but there is the highest latitude on the street, and there is a place in the city where there is a central restaurant, and there are dealer selling departments that are very convenient places.

Beautiful place and friendly staff. Also, they have blackout shades for when the sun is up to allow you to sleep easy!

It was arranged under the tour travel agent and the overnight stay was excellent. The Scandic provides excellent breakfast and that is part the package.

The attention was not, because in the room the heating did not work, we asked to change rooms and we say no, we bring a radiator.
Breakfast was very small.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Breakfast was better at other Scandics.

Nice and clean room but it was way too high temperature in the room at night. Not possible to regulate the heating enough. None of us slept well because of this. Will not be back.

Central and very nice, bus stops within walking distance, as well as the tour agencies.

We stayed in a room that wasn't yet renovated, though the hotel plans to renovate the rest of the rooms soon. Nevertheless, the breakfast buffet was excellent and the hotel has sleds to borrow. You can pull your kids around town in the winter — our kids loved this. The children's 'play room' has moved around the hotel in recent years and it's small and not very well stocked. Most of the toys were broken. The location in downtown Rovaniemi is perfect, as you can walk to restaurants and all the major tour operators. Bus conveniently stops nearby. You can use this bus to get to Santa Claus Village (3.90 Euros one way).

Excellent location! Breakfast was also nice. Buses to safaris come and pick you up directly at the reception if you mention this hotel in your safaris reservation. Beds are also very comfy. We had a very pleasant stay!

Plus for clean, good breakfast, the friendly staff, silent, comfortable beds. Minus for expensive parking, small roms I recommend this hotel!

Room quite small but comfortable enough. Wi-Fi speed is fast.

Im going to start off with the room I got, it was somewhere around average quality, quite small but ok. The free Wi-Fi is also quite nice. The lobby and restaurant is nice looking. Though when I, my dad and my three younger brothers went to get food in the restaurant, we ordered a pizza, two child size burgers, a piece of beef and a normal sized burger. We had to wait an entire hour for the child size burgers and the pizza and on the pizza, one of the ordered ingredients was missing. At first the restaurant was full but half the people had left before we got the first three dishes. We waited another half an hour but then gave up on the last two dishes.

The nightmare among the beautiful nature of the window is not open. The rooms are very small. Nothing Worse only in Hurghada in German engineer?
