I spent five nights in this charming old mansion in the heart of Tartu, a few steps away from the historic university. Each morning began with a fine breakfast. The staff is kind and warm-hearted, and they make you feel very much at home. If you have a chance to reserve the sauna in the evening, by all means do so! My stay at the Tampere Maja was one of the highlights of my visit to Estonia.
