Wonderful! Conveniently close to Old Town, very reasonable, and single beds instead of bunks. It was great to use the kitchen, and it was pretty quiet. A little hard to find at first — it's at the 'back" of the building.

My family of 3 and I arrived very late to Tallinn and to the Welcome Hostel. The hostel took a little time finding because it is located within a maze of wonderful crafty shops, pubs, and restaurants. Luckily, we were able to be buzzed in and our key was provided us. We had a fine room, although we had expected to have the family bed and were given a double-occupancy room instead. For this reason and because one of the bathrooms was not cleaned and it should have been during our two night stay, I only gave the Welcome Hostel in Tallinn 4 stars. But would I stay there again? Absolutely. The sleeping areas themselves were safe and clean. There was a cool living area with inexpensive coffee machines around. Plenty of brochures with helpful information was available to us and there was a great big kitchen, had we stayed longer or wanted to cook. The hostel is in a shopping district, abound with nightlife, and close to ferries. Ol d town is an easy walk from there too. I do recommend this hostel for anyone looking for a quality yet inexpensive place to lay your head for the night in Tallinn.

Hostel is allright for two nights but overpriced. Stayed in a three bed room with shared bathroom for 125 euros/ 3rd floor. Overpriced because of: — bathrooms have to be shared with 4th floor: 4 or 5 showers, 1 sink (for girls) ; Showers can't be locked up — 2 restrooms in 3rd floor for approximate 10 to 15 persons — restrooms seemed not to be cleaned at all/ once a day — laundry service (6 euros) : you are not allowed to wash for yourself, staff washes it for you. My clothes came back one size smaller! I guess they washed everything on 60 C instead of 40 C — hostel recommends a parking space near the building for 25 euros/day. But there is a parking space within a 5 min walk (300 meters away) for 4 euros. It is next to nautica shopping mall What was positiv: it was really quiet and beds were comfortable. Located near the city.
