Nice old buildind, the "public" areas are nicely decorated and the room was basic, quite small and no aircon. So if it's warm weather like we had the room temperature was +31/32. Hotel location is excellent of course depends what you are looking for, centre area. Breakfast was basic and needed maybe more enthusiastic to make it really running.

Location is perfect: right at the entrance to the old town. Rooms are clean, bright, a bit old fashion. Main problem was with the thin wall and door. There was no sound proof at all. Breakfast was basic.

Lovely hotel. In the old town, all the sights are a short walk away! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Next time we'll just stop!

Beautiful Hotel in a former convent.
It completely changes the styles of conventional hotels, but it's restful. Anyway, we don't spend the holidays there.
Breakfast included (and rather very good! Perfect for the French in search of good morning sugar, but we do not forget the salty dishes.
Placement at the top of the old Town, ideal. Everything is quickly in range, and there is a lot to visit.

I got a single room that had a serious problem with the sewer. The whole room had a bad stinky sewer smell coming from the toilet / shower room that couldnt be removed. Trying to take a shower was horrible. Staff service was modest at best. I am used to generally more friendly and social staff at hotels. A little rough overall maintenance level in the room — TV remote didnt function well and the floor had minor flaws too. Location was great in the heart of the old town, but I think you can find better ones in the area.

The hotel is in a great location and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Of the Cons: in February cool, but I was saved by a heater, blanket and hot shower; I would like to have breakfast lasted at least until 11am. Overall-I recommend.

Conveniently located within walking distance of Tallinn's Old Town square. Room on the top floor under the roof lit by a dormer. Enlightened you do x say since during our stay in January 2018 the sun rose after 9 to set before 4pm… Small Hotel friendly staff. Rooms a little cold. Cleanliness of the rooms not always at the top but all in all a great choice X a weekend in Tallinn.

Hotel in a historic building, very special, strategic location near the old town. Being a historic building does not have an elevator because you can not install: I was on the third floor and fortunately I had only one hand baggage because the stairs are not particularly large and my colleague with baggage hold has made a little ' more effort to climb. Wifi on the third floor is not particularly performanant.
Decent breakfast although in such a facility I would have expected a little more variety nice room, nice bathroom with different toiletries, unfortunately the shower drain was a little slow and it piled up water in the shower tray.
Overall however the evaluation is positive although there would be points to improve.

I was not impressed by this hotel. Poor plumbing design forced me to upgrade to the most expensive room in the building for the second night for an extra 45 euros. I dont even think the place was that full. Breakfast was also mediocre. The best thing about the hotel… Well I have to say, everything outside the hotel. The city is a winner! One of the best cities in the world. I love you Tallinn! Pash, pash, lots of tongue, grope, heavy breathing and a nice dream look into your eyes you beautiful loveable city, you.

When the heat is turned on, you can't turn it off, omfg, it's solo hoooooot. The bathrooms are good, good shower pressure. The rooms are good euro size. Most rooms have a small fridge to put your drinks in! I honestly don't think they have air con but it's always cold in Tallinn. Beds are comfy. Furniture is def dated and the TV is a small one. But it's a great location.

Cozy and loungy. A nice feeling of being away whilst still being in the middle of the city. It's got nice staff, clean rooms and a quiet breakfast area. Recommended for short stays.

Love this hotell,,, stay here with my daughters on and off for 15 yrs,,,, my home away from home,,, hope to be here for my 70th b-day,,. Prefect location, excellent service and what a great feel this place has,,,,, do not miss it!

Taanilinna is a beautiful hotel and the restoration is extremely well done with love and respect to the history and tradition of the old building.
Our room was cozy and clean and we fell in love with the dark brown wood floor because usually hotels have those stuffy fitted carpets.
Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly.
We will definitely choose Taanilinna again, thank you!
