Nice place to relax and spend a good time.

I was very excited to stay at this place however, I ended up leaving. We called in an hour or even more to ask for an early checkin. The receptionist said yes, we could do that. Once we arrived, we met the owner right after we parked our car. He was very nice and welcoming. After that, we had to head to where we check in. We met the receptionist, I think his name was Islam or something like that. He assured us that there should be no problem and it should be reedy within 10 mins. Even though I felt some weird energy coming from that person, I was exhausted so I was like okay. I just didn’t feel specially nice as well when I called in and he said that I should be able to check in right away. Anyway, thought 10 minutes or wouldn’t be a problem and I could wait. We ended up waiting from 7 in the morning to 11:45. I was super exhausted that I fell asleep two times. The funny thing was, every time I kept asking that person about the room he would come up with the dumbest excuses ever. He even said that, one of the staff got sick and so on. Which is so random since we called an hour or two upon arrival. It was an unpleasant experience for me and super unprofessional. Anyway, he got the key around 11:45 after hours of 10 mins. I then asked him for my money back. The funniest thing was that, instead of apologizing and do his job. He was like “oh I was trying to help you and do you a favor!?!

Prices are generally expensive above normal, a rocky beach, a normal place with many places more beautiful than it in Ras Al-Satan close to it, beautiful and sandy beaches, much cheaper prices, and better food and service such as the castle beach and the miracle beach. I do not advise you to visit this place or at least ask for the prices in advance.

WOW! An incredible place with an incredible atmosphere! Hidden between the Red Sea and a small rocky mountain creates a heavenly surrounding.
The staff is so sweet (Thanks Sarah), kind and respectful! The beach is gorgeous with endless coral reefs and PERFECT for snorkeling!
The food was delicious (thanks Moonja and crew), prepared in a timely manner and served professionally.
The sitting areas are tidy, well kept and spacious. They are scattered along the beach so that you can enjoy some privacy if you need some quiet time.
If you are OK with public toilets and shower then you will find Rocksea has exactly what you need to get by…
Score: 9/10 Some negatives:
1. It's relatively pricy (in Sinai terms). I'm not sure that the price matches the value.
2. Rooms are too hot to actually sleep in. We just slept on the beach under the sky (so I'm not sure this is really a negative)
3. A small number of cockroaches in the shower at night : (
4. Must pay in Euro (otherwise they take a high exchange commission) Omer Zelman.

Perfect beach, live reef, great people, delicious food. Heaven.

Cool and elegant place … so quiet.

Heavenly place to stay in, everything is amazing, bungallos on the beach, simple huts too or called khosha, the staff is very welcoming and friendly, cold and hot water for showers after swimming, good kitchen with wide range of meals including pizza, pancake, fresh juices and fizzy water, some oriental and Egyptian meals like molokheya and bameya, there is Sahlab too, if you wanna enjoy the nature, the beach, the corals and red sea awesome creatures in addition to the mountains of Sinai and Saudi Arabia you must go there. You can go snorkeling and there are some boats and a kiak. It's 10 mins from nuwaibaa city and nearly 50 mins from Taba. About 2 hours from Sharmel Sheikh. 8 hours from Cairo by bus. I wish I go there later. Two things are cons, one is the price maybe much more than neighbouring camps and the second is the mosquitos which can be avoided by using a net, and is provided too.

Perfect beach, beautiful, clean, great stuff, delicious food. Due to the rocks behind the beach in the days I've been there, there was no breeze at night.

Fantastic experience! Never knew these types of camps existed in Egypt, truly happy we tried it out! Owners are fantastic, workers are all friendly, accommodating and helpful. Do yourself a favour if you are adventurous… JUST GO THERE!

Best 10 days away from civilisation and stress ever so far for my experience. And yet everything was very clean and all you basically need is there. The people were so kind and friendly and so are the 2 dogs and cats. :) Thank you Rocksea team for an unforgettable time. We will come again in November and bring friends. Oh and the food… delicious!
