Bad service, cheap rates. A night or two should be alright. But don't ruin your vacation and stay there.

Nice small motel in the city centre for a good value to money.

Helpful staff. Average hotel. Not beach access.

Well worth the price. Big rooms and really nice people working there.

That’s cheap and clean enough. I think that’s the best choice if you wanna have a less expensive hotel. It’s not fancy and everything inside is less than perfect. But quiet and the employees are friendly. They understand English.

Nice hotel in Sherston Street and izey to find.

The room given to us seems like had been abandoned without maintenance. Air-conditioning was very bad with loud sounds and sands/stones coming out from it. The bed was bumpy but somewhat acceptable given the price. The saving grace was the generous breakfast on the first day of our visit. However on the second day even the breakfast was very frugally prepared.

Good place in middle of live street plus low cost spacious rooms.

Best price for value in the whole of Hurghada. Includes access to a beach, not great but free chairs and towels. Having said this, it is cheap, and you will have to deal with the continuously barking dog that has a fight with other dogs or various bypassers every hour or so … even during the night.

It's not bad and room prices normal to most of the gestures.

Clean and helpful staff. The food is great but complimentary meal doesn't include water, we were charged 10Egp for a bottle of water.

Very simple and rough comfort, but excellent value for the money.

The place is good but… 1 — the blanket looks like its very old and disgusting 2 — the breakfast doesn't have a lot of choices 3 — the TV is very old 4-the fridge is not clean at all 5 — the smell is soo bad in the loopy and inside the rooms 6 — the shower should be bigger the bathroom have a very big space but its unused 7 — the balcony have no good view… but the activities are very good and they are not expensive at all … and the staff is really helpful.

Good location. Near the Sheraton and the Promenade Plenty Marina.

Has its own beach, a lot of stone, the network only the hall has, the room is not good. The sheets are dirty and old. The service staff is enthusiastic, check-out also can store luggage. The room had a kitchen and there was nothing.

Good for a stopover. Not very comfortable. Location is nice, near from restaurants and shops and the Hurghada Marina.

Very poor hygiene, stains and hair on bed sheets and covers, missing light bulbs, 20 inch CRT tv, inefficient A/C that takes forever to cool the room. No maintenance at all. They also do not have a private beach, but use a shared one with card to access that beach untill 5:30 pm only.

Filthy to the sensation of disgust. The air-conditioning is not working.

Clean spacious rooms. Yummy huge breakfast, Egyptian and Continental. Helpful with tours and the reception staff is nice. Free beach access too! But. Wifi only works in the lobby.

A 1 hotel for very cheap price.

Got a big clean room always friendly people and amazing food. Prices are cheap and you are getting access to everything. 150 meters to shopping area marina and beaches.

I had a great stay at the Golden Rose. I was a single woman traveler and felt extremely safe at this hotel. The staff was extremely helpful, very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are nice, comfortable beds, hot showers, and very clean. The hotel is on a side street off of the main street. The beach club that Golden Rose is associated with is nice, free, with beach front, a swimming pool, restaurant and bar, and best yet no hasslers. It is a two minute walk to the beach club and a two minute walk to the main street where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. When I come back to Hurghada I will absolutely be staying here again. If you are going there by taxi and they don't know where it is, go to Papa's beach club and have them explain to the driver where it is (it's very close, but on a side street, some taxis might now know it).
