Reviews of Abeer Hotel Alexandria
The staffs don’t know the difference between fan and air conditioner. I asked them a room with AC and they told me “the rooms are full. You can change the room tomorrow. ” At the day, I asked them the AC room and they showed me another same room. No AC, just similar fan like before. Then one staff told me that all room in this hotel has no AC at all. Also I expected a fast Wi-Fi service, but always no connectivity. I learnt from this hotel and the hotel before I am here, to not to 100% trust online review about hotel facilities.
Its a 2 star hotel with great location to the Mediterranean sea side of Alexandria and other major attractions and restaurants, rooms are decent enough but lack of cleanliness, broken faucets, broken bathtub, spiderwebs in certain areas of room, the beds are comfy for a night's sleep, its a decent hotel to stay for a last minute non availability of room emergency situation, the breakfast just includes tea, bread with butter or cheese spread and some boiled eggs. Wifi signal strength is good in somw areas but lacks internet speed and is sometimes not available entirely in all rooms due to the placement of the routers.
