Fine place to stay in the old town.

The lousy hot water could not be regulated and hot passed to cold in a few seconds, the breakfast is not the best, the rooms more or less but the question is: No one to clean them after they have been used? Upon returning from the activities I found the same towels and beds in the same conditions in which I left them before leaving.

A very comfortable home economical and simple, with very good people, safe and clean, you as freedom to walk like home.

Nice place, spacious dorms with lockers. Mario and the other staff are friendly and helpful. The roof terrace looks a bit unfinished but offers a nice view of the mountains and cathedral. Affordable restaurants and laundy service can be found within 100 metres. Free PC available to use for guests.

Great rooms! Very nice hospitality.

I really felt at home, I had stayed for more than a week and since I visited a few cities. It always was a very restful & quiet place to sleep at this hostel. The rooms are spacious and clean, with a real window. Access to the kitchen was ideal. The terrace view of the city was a bonus! Great Value, friendly and courteous staff. I would definitely recommend this hostel and stay there again, in my next visit to Ecuador. Muchas Gracias!

Warring! We just checked out of the hostal. Yesterday morning we were missing $40 out of 100 laying one of our bags. We did not want to accuses the hostals personal, before we were sure. So Last night we took picture of our bags before we went out. When we can back it was clear someone had been looking through our bags. We had Pedro (so called security guard), who were shaking and a bit violent call the management and the police. The management and the police came and we went through the bags again and they had taking a SD card this time. In the end the police took us to the tourist police station and we had a report made. When we came back the management had left and they did not try to improve the situation or anything this morning. Conclusion: Do not stay here!

We had a private room and it was ok, though there was a lot of noice from the street. The staff at daytime was nice enough, but during the evening someone when through our bagage and stole money and valuables from us. It happend while we went out for dinner and the key was in the hand of the evening staff (the guardian at the guesthouse). They stole some of our cash (not all) and minor items, obviously hoping that we wouldn't notice. However, we took photos when we left the room and when we came back — proofing that someone had been through our backpacks looking for items/cash to steal. They didn't steal our passport and items that would be very critical, but they took a spare SD card for our camera, which could have had all of our travel pictures on it. Don't stay here if you don't like people to go through your stuff and steal from you.

A family friendly site super in the heart of the city and close to many tourist sites.

I was in this hostel at the beginning of 2015. The service in general is not bad, there is a kitchen, a living room and a good atmosphere, leaving aside that the room where I was had a musty smell awesome and it was all removing paint. The problem is not with the girls who attend, but with the owner, a woman that did not recognize the money my reservation that I had made over the internet because they were the wrong dates. A matter of gestures, for surely, those 4 or 5 dollars not going to make it more rich, no more poor. That's not all, in addition this woman claimed to have usually problems with argentine and great contempt towards them, but to ask why she did not give valid explanations, but it was just a matter of feelings of hatred and resentment. In short, a person who is very conservative, disgusting and extremely careful with their money (Rat) so that those who want to attend to your hostel, please consider all of these principles and ideals and to be aware of whom you are to give work.
