This is a luxury hotel located in the heart of the Old City. Beautifully restored in colonial style, our room was spacious and comfortable. There is a fine restaurant in the hotel, serving the best food we had in Quito. Highly recommended.

A very nice boutique hotel with a great view. Even if you don't stay here you can come and enjoy the view. We had brunch at the restaurant which was pricey but the food was as good as you can expect in a place like this one. I would recommend to come here over weekdays as the crowd is better.

We booked this hotel via Mr and Mrs Smith and we're treated like kings! The hotel is located on the plaza San Francisco in Quito, and just in front of the beautiful church of the same name. Inside, it's calm, clean and beautiful. The staff is extremely helpful and pleasant — including after our stay. The complimentary tea and the breakfast was amazing. Their special cocktail is exquisite. We really enjoyed this hotel and had a relaxing time!

Frankly I was stunned at the magníficencia of this place, others have the best care and service I have seen, has first class facilities, an excellent restaurant, everything is impeccable to the minimum detail, is truly True, it is the best hotel in Quito, in which, not only does it stay if you can not live the history of a Republican mansion that served as the presidential palace.

Excellent. Came from Amazon to Quito and was pampered from start to finish. Regrets that only had one night, but afternoon tea with incredible hot chocolate and pastries was delicious, the fresh fruit of Ecuador in the room with explanations of each, the soft sheets, and the view of the plaza with fireworks was unbeatable. And the bathroom was to die for. Come here if you're lucky to visit Quito.

Lots of noise from the subway construction. Some rooms have a terrible view. Many hotels in the area are of much higher caliber rooms for lower prices. AC doesn't function as expected. The area is nice if you're looking to spend most of your time in old town. However the grounds are beautiful and the bar is also magnificent with amazing drinks.

Very Nice restaurant, cozy. But do not you dare tell the waiter that the Chilcano of Pisco, does not know Pisco because it will answer you with a resounding: the drinks that we prepare here are not for getting drunk, but at least it will take a laugh to more than one at the table. And the food is normal, I stay with the infrastructure.

Very cozy, I had no chance to stay but I have sometimes gone to the restaurant and it is very good the prices are not very high, the service is excellent.

Upscale boutique hotel in center of Quito. Nearby subway construction is an eye sore, but doesnt really effect the hotel. Cozy / masculine bar area, and top notch restaurant with amazing potato soup! Make sure you visit the sunroom lounge area and rooftop terrace.

Where care is first class, very nice colonial in the historic center of Quito is a wonderful place that transports you to another era. In its contour it is super quiet in the Night. Great.

It is a beautiful building that although it is not colonial in its style keeps a unique charm in its details, in addition to the service of the people it is great for both public domestic and foreign. It works as a hotel, restaurant and bar.

We had dinner in the restaurant last night. The place is beautiful, very nicely decorated. The food however was not great, especially in relation to the price. There are better choices for this price range in Quito and Ecuador. We won't go here again…

We only went to the restaurant because of the TripAdvisor reviews. The place is great, lovely location and the food is amazing. Given the status of the place, it was easy to get vegetarian options which are not always easy to find in Ecuador. Their food is a modern take on traditional Ecuadorian cuisine, it's worth giving it a try.

Restaurant with excellent traditional cuisine and author, environment, class, impeccable and quiet, private, and with an exclusive view of the church of the Company of Jesus from the historic centre of Quito. The attention of their waiters is very friendly, advise wisely, and explained in illustrated detail the composition of drinks and dishes. Price approx us50 per person eating very well!

A disappointing experience. We decided to try this beautiful restaurant for dinner so dressed well (black dress and jackets) and walked to the hotel. The security guard opened the door for us and as we were admiring the beauty and elegance of the hotel we were offered assistance. We said we would like a drink so we were escorted to the bar. It was small and intimate and empty. The barman didn't acknowledge us and after a few minutes we were given the menu and forgotten. Some delightful bar snacks were plonked on our table. No small chit chat, no smile. After another 5 minutes while the barman was clattering around huffing and puffing we asked if we could order. He was obviously in a very bad mood which affected our experience. We ordered and after a more than longer wait our 4 drinks arrived. They were perfect but the atmosphere made It a very unenjoyable experience. We decided not to stay for dinner and returned to Patio Andaluz where we were greeted as cherished guests rather than an inconvenience.

Its unique focus makes it one of the best hotels in Quito, next to the Plaza of San Francisco makes it a privileged place.

I have been here for the Restaurant and it was great food and also nice desserts. Once I was with my sister for coffee and desserts at the garden. Lately I have seen a big sign saying "only guests" for the garden area but I guess you can still go for a nice coffee or tea break there.

The place is very nice and luxurious, excellent for spending a few nights stay in this great Hotel, Its grounds are majestic and the care is excellent. The prices therefore are high, but it makes up for the rest of services that it offers.
