Sapa Inka Hostel

A place with a lot of good vibe, close to the beach and the street of the cocktail makers, they serve a very good breakfast, clean and the attention of Dany is the best. I hope to return soon.

Chris is the nicest host! Very nice place close to the beach and the center of town, with a nice common space with hammocks, tables and a big TV with a zillion dvd’s. Also a kitchen with a fridge and the included breakfast is nice. Chris will arrange surf lessons for you and give you any information needed, and he speaks good English. Can definitely recommend Sapa Inka!

Nice tranquilo, clean welcoming hostel. Close to the beach and town but far away enough not to be noisy. Nice common area where you can chill and watch movies and a well stocked kitchen. Surf board rental and surf lessons available too. I’d definitely stay here again.

Great place, great value for money, oftional for good surfing lessons, the breakfast was awesome, the location also. Cool staff and realy helpfull, I would totally come back!

If you go to Montañita — I highly recommend to stay at this hostel. I felt very comfi there and enjoyed my time a lot. Clean, cosy beds, good location, amazing breakfast and very nice staff working there!

I stayed here for new years 2017 and loved the place. From the second I walked through the door I was looked after by Danny and Estina, always smiling and happy to help with anything. Really comfy beds, also some of the best bathrooms facilities. Its less than a minute from the beach and Danny also offers surf lessons and seriously knows what he's doing. The food was also really amazing when I was there. Great family/friendly atmosphere that I have already recomended to many people and will continue to do so. Thanks guys for an amazing NYE. 5stars all the way from me.

If you are going to Montañita then this is the hostel you must go to. My boyfriend and I had a fantastic three nights here. The location is perfect for the beach, the main strip for food and drinks and it is far enough so you aren't bombarded with loud music if you just want to chill. They provide a great breakfast which can change from day to day :). The hostel has a lovely chilled vibe and a great outdoor communal area which has just had some new lights fitted if you feel like some late night drinks and chill. Honestly the icing on the cake is that the couple that own this place are just genuinely lovely people. They go out their way to help you and they are constantly thinking of ways to improve the hostel on a backpackers perspective. They really are something special. Highly rate, you will have the best time if you come here :). Thanks guys x.

I recently stayed at Sapa Inka on a trip through Ecuador. If you are looking for a relaxing, quiet time in Montañita but still want to be minutes away from the beach and downtown core this is the place to stay. Stine and Danny are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. They are always available for a chat and can give you suggestion on where to go. Be sure to get surfing lessons from Danny Matamoros, best teacher in Montañita.
