This is a great place run by a couple of brothers who treat you like family. They hook you up with tours and teach you about the islands. The hotel is also located near Charles Darwin Avenue and Academy Bay. I highly recommend this place.

100% recommended the warmth of all is unique thanks for all Don Vicente some time we will be back thanks to the same Don Daniel we all have a great time with his occurrences and that sorry not having met Don Marcos some time will give the opportunity in general to all who make up Galapagos Dreams Hotel successes and move on.

The best hotel and travel agency at the galápagos islands. Never in my life I have had such hard time to leave a hotel! The location is incredible, The showers are hot and strong, the breakfest is bomb and there are comfortable beds. The staff are extremely welcoming, they are like family for you, on another level of customer service and friendship. I realllllly am so sad to go. Shout out to Jonathan for raning this place as it is. Love everyone here! I will return to this hostel. Thank you.

Couldn’t have been happier to switch from a five-star resort to this gem when we extended our stay in Santa Cruz for 3 extra days. And the best thing, they checked us in early when one of us arrived acutely ill. It’s always the small, quaint places that provide the very best customer service. Thank you from the bottom of our ❤️’s!

The tour was OK although the "naturalist guide" was very poor and could not provide any good information. But the agency provided us with false information (even printed of a flyer! ). So that i. E. We were skipping breakfast and then had to wait quite some time for lunch. And they were incapable of supplying right sized flippers (I told my size two days in advance) — other agencies could do this. No responsibilty and no help after the money was paid.

Good pension, but not a good location. Rooms on the ground floor are right next to the breakfast terrace and therefore it is very noisy from 6 am. The hostess is very helpful. Pretty expensive, especially if you take into account the calculated airport transfer of US-DOLLAR 42. Better to book a hotel by the sea with included transfer, or take the bus from Baltra Airport, which costs only US-DOLLAR 3 and hardly takes longer for the 40 km trip.

Great location The price is according to the good service rich and nutritious breakfasts, the rooms are very comfortable, I stayed in the room Opuntia the bed and exceptional pillows of the best ideals to get to rest after a day of much exercise and Encounter with nature. Jocelyne's attention and dedication because every detail makes your stay really enjoyable. The cleanliness was immaculate another great point in favor.

It is a good hotel, they offer good tours at better prices, good breakfast and very friendly, they have bicycles for rent or if it is a little time they lend them. They quote you the plans according to your availability, whatever you want and at a fair price. They have clean water to serve no limit on the reception and air conditioning in the rooms.

It is a place with a familiar and cozy atmosphere is very close to everything especially of the scientific station C. D.

Good location. Rooms and beds are fine. There are no bedside lamps in the room. In our room 11 was also missing the announced refrigerator. There are no options for hanging laundry. W-LAN with Internet access available but weak. Breakfast too expensive.

This was a great location. Fortunately, I stayed in an annexe house of the hostel. A three bedroom house with shared kitchen and lounge. Two minutes from mailbox n hostel. A woman across the street did my laundry. The government post office was also across the street and I was 5mins away from the entrance of the Darwin Centre and in the other direction 5 mins from the main Street on the sea front. This was such a great location for my 5 days in Santa Cruz. I would recommend this accomodation. The breakfast is basic but good.

Good deals in a location where good deals are few. Beautiful property not yet internationally under the heading services to the traveler. Large rooms. Pool. Poor breakfast.

Jonatan has led me to my most magnificent vacation thus far, with lots of memories and fun times.

A lovely boutique hotel on a quiet street in Puerto Ayora, but still close to restaurants, shopping, the fish market, Charles Darwin Research Center and the docks. The rooms were very clean and spacious with a sitting area and a balcony with a hammock! The manager, Joseline, was gracious and very helpful with suggestions of things to do and where to eat. She asked which islands we had traveled to already to get a basis of other things we should do. The hotel has a beautiful, neat garden area and we had breakfast there on the patio. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to the Galapagos.

Nice clean room with a big comfortable double bed. The staff are all really friendly and accommodating. Decent breakfast with eggs included.

This is a fantastic Hotel easy walking distance from bars, restaurants, the port and the research center. Joseline, the incredibly friendly owner, made us feel at home from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The room itself was spacious, clean and well appointed (with a hammock on the balcony to relax after long days exploring! ), with nice shower gel and shampoo included. The breakfast / coffee was excellent (Joseline bakes a different cake every day) and it started early enough to eat it before being collected for day tours (a problem we had elsewhere). The building and garden are extremely well maintained, and there is a high wall and secure front gate separating the property from the street. If we ever return to Santa Cruz we'll definitely be staying here.

Terrible customer services. Gives incorrect information and then blames the customer. Avoid at all costs.

Absolutely loved our stay! Close to town and very comfortable. Breakfast was light — but very good! The rooms were clean and the balcony and hammock were a great addition to the room. We would definitely return. The shuttle service from the airport was $30 — but choices are limited.

Excellent place to stay in Puerto Ayora! This family owned hotel is very clean, safe, and comfortable. The owners (mother and daughter) are very welcoming and their attention to detail and accommodation is incredible! Would highly recommend staying here!

Great hotel, great, personal service. The room was very nice and the air conditioning is a must, considering the proximity to the equator. Walking distance to the restaurants and stores.

Did not actually stay in the hotel as I was moved to the Ocean Dreams (next door) due to an accidental overbooking), but I have to say, Jonatan was absolutely fantastic! He was so helpful and accommodating and is a wealth of knowledge! I had come the day before I was staying because I had to catch the ferry to Isabela for a daytrip, but would be checking in w/him that evening and did not want to lug my luggage around w/me all day. He said I could drop it off early the next morning, no problem. I came to drop it off, but unfortunately, no one was there. However, it seemed a safe enough place, that I stowed my bag behind the travel desk. When I came back that evening (6pm), my bag was in the office w/him and the gal that worked with him was very nice in making sure it was taken care of. I was also welcomed with a bottled water and iced coffee! Jonatan also explained about the overbooking and was nice enough to walk me to the other hotel (which was a bit of an upgrade as I got a full suite). For the service alone, I would recommend this place! It looked like a fun and fantastic place to stay! And, not only that, but Jonatan also provides travel services throughout Santa Cruz and the rest of the Galapagos!

We came to Jonathan's Galápagos Dreams through a friend's recommendation and truly enjoyed our stay! Its in a great location, just walking distance from the Charles Darwin research station and plenty of restaurants, bars and shops — it's a small family run hostel perfect for young travelers; the rooms are quiet and cozy, providing breakfast, bike rental and tours/cruises. Prices are very fair and Jonathan has been an amazing guide, providing us with wetsuits when we needed them for our daily trips and one of the best local guides you can possibly wish for.

Joseline runs a truly wonderful hotel. Spacious rooms, great bathroom, fine breakfast, lovely hospitality. Excellent location — — everything's within walking distance. Truly five-star quality in a village-type family hotel. I'd recommend it to anyone, wholeheartedly.

Galapagos Dream is a small, family friendly and wonderful place to stay in Galapagos. It's perfectly located close to shops and city center allowing you to relax and enjoy your stay. If you are looking for luxurious accommodations, this might not be the place for you, but if you are looking for a safe, CLEAN (most important to me), friendly and accommodating managers this is the place you want to go. The staff will go above and beyond to meet your needs and ensure you have a pleasant stay. Also, as a visitor, you might not know where to go first, but this hotel conveniently has its tour agency located here to plan all of your activities. I would recommend and visit again.

Perfect location to anywhere you need to be. Amazing tours every day with lunch great provided. Driven and picked up from everywhere. Fresh breakfast, fruit juice and coffee served every morning, restaurants reasonably priced on the sea front.
Exceptionally helpful and kind staff on hand all the time, but the greatest thank you goes to Jhonotan for all his careful planning and hard work and all the added extras. He really went above and beyond the cal of duty.

There travel agency service was HORRIBLE! They didn't pick me up from the airport like they were supposed to. Then the cruise I booked with them, which they told me I had purchased the last ticket of, did not leave the day I arrived because of "mechanical issues with the engine". Later in the week they told me it was because I was the only one on the cruise. To keep me with them they told me I could purchase a first class cruise for a highly discounted price from what they usually are (which I agreed to) and then it turned out not to be a first class cruise! These are only two of the major issues I have had with this company, they would not refund me any of the money and I cancelled the rest of my trip with them even after they would not refund me because I refused to accept such poor quality service. Bottom line? Do not book anything with this company, full of lies and scams.

It was the Best vacation ever! The staff was amazing, especially Cesar who serenaded my husband and I while we enjoyed a candlelight dinner by the pool. We greatly enjoyed the daily excursions led by knowledgeable and engaging guides. After a long day of site seeing, it was especially nice to wind down with the help of the daily "happy hour" beverage followed by a unique and delicious gourmet dinner. If I am fortunate enough to visit the Galapagos again, I will definitely return to the Finch Bay Resort. Victor Toledo and all the staff at the resort went out of their way to turn my dream vacation into a reality.

Their travel agency tried to sell us the inter island transfer for more than the officially regulated price of 30 $. This seemed to be just a strategy to sell us a tour so that we feel that the difference in price is smaller. The tour to Isla Isabela we booked was totally useless. The guide did not tell anything different than you can read on the signs and the promoted snorkeling equipment was not offered. We bought snorkeling but nobody of them brought snorkeling equipment. Additionally we always needed to pay the boat taxi which transports you to the boat for 4 times. In the end the day was ruined. If you want to make a day trip to Isabela, just do it by yourself. It's much cheaper, more relaxing and you can see the same or even more.

We were so lucky to find Galapagos Dreams when our plans went awry just after Christmas! Our family of 5 adults was well accommodated by Jonatan and his excellent crew for our 8 day stay. The location of the hotel is ideal… Close enough to the places you'll want to be, but far enough away to be quiet in the evenings. There is a simple but tasty breakfast served daily in the pretty lounge area. You'll meet other travelers like yourself, if you're the adventurous type. We took one of the tours on offer, to the highlands, and it was fantastic. Note: if you take this tour, you will get wet and muddy, and you should be reasonably fit. )
I would definitely return to GD should I be fortunate enough to come back to this paradise!

Wonderful place to stay warm and welcoming the women who run it are truly lovely.

We had an excellent stay at Galapagos Suites over three nights in Santa Cruz. The rooms were spacious, clean and well-presented and the place itself sits in a very convenient location close to many great restaurants, as well the port. Joseline, the host, made our stay particularly exceptional with her readiness to answer all of our questions and made great recommendations about tours, transport and the island itself. She was highly informative, organised and reliable, which saved us from a lot of stress! A big plus was the deliciously prepared breakfasts every morning. Thank you so much for a truly wonderful experience.

Super friendly welcome and immaculate large rooms, good bathroom, great mid point location and easy 5min walk to the restaurants at the waterfront, all windows were screened so easy to enjoy the breeze well stocked relevant library and a yummy breakfast. All in all would definitely recommend and would def stay again. Book direct online on their own website and request an upper floor room as although the courtyard garden is pretty, the upper floor breeze is very welcome.

Perfect stay on Galapagos. Everything was last Minute and everything worked. The best trips and a lot of care of the organizers. Equipment, food, trips. Just ask and you get the best. And the prices are fair.

Our favorite Hotel in Galapagos! VERY clean, great food, great location and great hosts! Family owned and operated and Josy was so pleasant. We toured Galapagos for about 2 weeks and didn't find another hotel that we liked as much. Definitely worth it if you feel like splurging! Our room did have an ocean view, but not all of them do so be sure to ask if that's what you want.

Josy, the host, she is the loveliest person I ever met after my mom, she was very helpful with information about town, everything you read about her is truth, she is the perfect host. The rooms are clean, breakfast is ready first time in the morning when you wake up, Wi-Fi available @ all times and is free and the hotel is located in the center of the town.

A really beautiful place to stay. Lovely big rooms that are immaculately clean. Great hosts to help you organise your travels. Good location close to the main strip. Included breakfast is the perfect way to start the day. Wifi available but intermittent.
