This is excellent location but the hotel is a little bit aged and rooms do not have Aircon. Staff are friendly breakfasts are good.

Unfortunately I was there when the weather was warm and rooms were roasting hot. No air con or fans provided so had a very unpleasant stay and. Breakfast was nice. Rooms are functional only. Parking is free but must register car reg.

Terrible!
We paid over 200€ for a night in a double room. The room was dirty! There were pubic hair in the bathtub and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned properly for weeks. There was also hair in the beds. On the "balcony" lay garbage and a plastic bag. We complained and were allowed to look at a few other rooms. But unfortunately they were no better. The breakfast was fine (therefore 1 star). Price — performance doesn't fit! Not recommended!

Lived two days. A regular European hotel. Of the cons-in-room extremely unstable Wi-fi, the rest of the rules. Near the sea and the beach, well, and the balcony)

If you have your expectations at a reasonable level, this is a great hotel. It's not fancy, the rooms are small, the gym needs work, but the location is fabulous. About 30 minutes north of Copenhagen, this hotel has given us a break from the fast-paced crowds of the city. It is mostly a commuter town full of quaint houses. Views are of the ocean or neighboring homes. You won't pay Copenhagen prices or receive Copenhagen amenities, but if your focus is on good location with a fair price, this place fits the bill.

Nice hotel right by Vedbæk Marina. Helpful staff, parking options and reasonable prices considering the exclusive area. 15 min drive to city center by car or train. Recommended.

My colleagues were kinda hesitant to book rooms for us because of the reviews and that the hotel is outdated. Yes it is outdated and the rooms might not look clean but we are kinda surprised that they are clean despite the old floor and paints. Fresh towels clean sheets and friendly staff made our stay better. Location is superb: Seafront. Minus points: rooms does not have tea or coffee, I think showers need to be change. Flushing the toilet is quite challenging but my colleagues room did not have a problem with their flush. Restaurant is a bit boring.

An old hotel at a great location by the coast a 20-minute drive outside Copenhagen, with very nice views from some of the upstairs rooms. There is a convenience store outside, in the same building as the hotel, which was super nice. The hotel had recently changed owners, and when we stayed they did not yet have permission to serve liquor or dinner, only a breakfast buffet. The climate was really cold and windy in the Winter, but this location would probably be great in the Summer. Some of the furniture was a little worn down, but the service at the front desk was great. There's a main street with shops and restaurants a 5 minute walk away. All in all, we had a pleasant stay.

Bathroom from the Stone Age, toilet flushing not enough water, shower head leaking, water pressure insufficient.

We was told that there was a kitchen when it only was a tea kitchen. The toilet wouldn't flush asswell, and the beds where terrible! Everything was faded. Sad story.

Wonderful place on the water and well located. The staff are all top notch.

Just an ordinary hotel. The gym, jacuzzi and sauna was wery basic. If you want to use them… chose another hotel.

Hotel smells, dirty rooms; only nice part were the good restaurants and beach surrounding the hotel; very overpriced for what it is.

The coffee is great and if u what a nice view to drink ur coffee this is the place in vedbæk.

This hotel does not collect feedback from its customers in a systematic way. Therefore shortcomings to their service are not noticed by the personnel, and not corrected. A short list: — It was freezing outside. I got room number 124. This room sits at a corner of the building. The temperature in the room could not be heated more than just about the freezing temperature, although the heating system was at its maximum. The heating system is badly designed. First of all it is far to small to be able to heat the room. It should be replaced by a heater which is about 5 times bigger. Second, the heating system is mounted badly. It is mounted close to the window, and the curtain goes in front of it. So most of the heat is wasted. I mentioned this to the reception: they have no system for logging complaints. The temperature was so cold I needed all covers present in the room to keep me warm. The room smelled badly. Reason: fungi, because the room is not enough heated. When using the wash table: the valve to drain the water away could not be operated. Soap: the soap distributor on the wall did not work. => no soap Television: although there was a television, it contain nearly exclusive local programs. So nothing to be watched for a person non-local. — At breakfast: There was break. You had to cut it yourself. No issue for me, but then they supplied a knife which could not cut the bread. Nobody of the people present complained. — Breakfast cereals are supplied.

Bathrooms renovated only makeshift. Clogged sink, hanging seals of shower enclosures and deposits in the toilets underline the parlous. Only the new beds and the seafront earn positive criticism.

Worn rooms and poor Wi-Fi connection in rooms. Also quite expensive. There are much nicer Hotels in the area. Restaurant had very good food.
