A little bit on a rough side but does the job. The staff was lovely. A bathroom in a room was a big plus (not sure if all of the rooms do).

It's average overall…
Despite a very good location, I find that the rooms are very poorly equipped. One closet for 4, no hairdryer, not very comfortable beds.
The staff is quite cold.
Lunch, for 4, do not expect many things, it's really light!
It's not the best hostel I've ever experienced, but it's still pretty good overall.

The second time I'm not going to get in there. Very noisy.

The only and main advantage of this hotel, or rather the hostel-this location, really in the center and everything in walking distance, never took any transport, you can still give + that the beds in the room where the night was not two-storey, also standard there The room was clean, the breakfast was very good and the staff were very helpful.

Spartan Hotel, for those who have low budgets, only to sleep only positive note is that it is in the center, convenient to everything.

Bad hostel! Unfriendly staff! Dirty and unsafe. No emerency exits. Rooms are to hot, beds are uncomfortable and collapse almost. Showers can not be closed. Only complaining guest in the hostel and the staff doesnt care at all. Wi-Fi is not working. Not possible to pay for services by card (and she told me that when she had the payment terminal in her hands)

Nice staff but we where surprised bs the room we booked, not as expected, nice location.

I put 1 point for the location. The rest horrible. Four floors a ladder and no one tells you before. The room is uncomfortable. It was hot and there's no air or fan or anything. The bathroom, which was in the hallway and we paid for it privately, had a nasty smell.

It was fourth floor by staircase, in the room there was not a coat rack, there was no mirror, two of the four outlets did not work. The bathroom was incomodisimo. It had No air conditioning or fan. A disaster.

Rooms spacious and clean… Bathroom is top class… Staff are very friendly and attentive … Will be a returning customer.

Perfect for a city trip with friends. Very simple, well located in the middle of the city. You get, what you paid for.

Bad double room, stinky carpet, bathroom is outside. Looks nothing like the pictures.

Very loud street and building. The place is very modest, which can be guessed by the price. Sheets are only changed after 3 days at least (when we asked). Breakfast has few options, and cold eggs.

The location of the hostel is gorgeous! But the hostel itself, of course, leaves much to be desired! In the photos it looks much better than live. Especially the ghetto on the last floor, but also there is a place to sleep. More, perhaps, to stay not recommend!

The hostel is located in the centre of Prague. Overpriced.

Great location. Old building and facilities, but reasonably clean.

This is the worst place we've ever had. We really haven't experienced such filthy and stinking things — and not for that price. In addition, the heating pipes in the building are installed in such a way that despite the switched-off heating the temperature in the room was at 35 degrees.
I do not recommend to anyone, whether 16 or 40, to book this accommodation. Unless you like to live in a total filthy hole. I'm going to add some pictures to talk about.

Very good location and friendly staff. The facilities are quite run down and there is no elevator.

Ideal location, however the price at the time of the new year is really exaggerated compared to the comfort and quality of the rooms… Damage.

New Year's Eve 2017 in Prague
I start with the positive because this is quick.
1. The Hotel/Hostel has a great location! In a few minutes ' walk you can reach restaurants, ATMs, exchange offices and attractions.
But that was the case with the positive!
Negative was.
1. The Hotel/Hostel is really hard to find as it is in/next to a souvenir shop.
2. The parking provided by the hotel is about a six-minute walk away in a public parking garage. If you don't know this in advance, you can tow your bags and suitcases.
3. Booked we had a two-bed double bed room and got a 5-bed room.
4. At the reception, €25, 000 and 500CZK deposit were required for the key, respectively. I paid that back in euros but I got it, despite the ask to get it paid out in euros, in crowns. At the current exchange rate, that was just under €193.
5. The condition and cleanliness of the hostel was sometimes frightening and disgusting!
-Dirty and smeared walls.
-Cracks in the walls and ceilings.
-Mold in the bath.
Fan glued in bathroom and black from the dirt.
Fat smell (as in a pommesbude) in the room.
-Expiration date of fire extinguishers 08/2016
6. Value for money is a cheekiness. £92for per Pers. Per night.
I have stayed in some hostels, hotels, guesthouses and apartments, but at no one was I happy to leave again.
7. Breakfast costs €4am is no longer worth it!

A very good place to stay in Prague. A big, clean, warm room in the center of the old city. Perfect location. Good service and warm greetings. Couldn't ask for better.

The hostel is in the heart of Prague, which is very convenient. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly.

The Hostel is in the centre of Prague, you can always walk. The bed is comfortable, and the standards of cleanliness high. The staff are very courteous and helpful, you can change The money directly to the acceptance (even if you board cash machine), there are numerous PCS and lockers that you can use to store your stuff. There is a washing machine area and breakfast is served from 8 to 10, buffet, at the cost of 4 euros or 90 cz.
The entrance is difficult to find because it is inside a souvenir shop and we have turned like fools before you understand it. There are so many stairs to do.

Nice place to stay right in city centre of Prague. The beds are comfy in the rooms with private bathroom (the hotel part). It need a bit of updating.

For the price you get a really good service, from friendly cooperation:)

Good for night stay. Not so great ambience. Gets stuffy very soon. Bathrooms are too small. Nice neighborhood Good staff.

The localisation is great, although the rest is quite average. The rooms and bathrooms were ok, but could have been better. I have to admit though, that the guy at the reception was extremely nice and helpful.

Friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in the private rooms which were well maintained and cleaned daily. Right in the centre of the old city, and two minute walk from the old square.

We stayed here for one night, just vpadlu to go to my hostel in the area) ) Wifi in the room D1. Weak signal.

Very very dirty, When we arrived there was animal poo in our beds and a lot of hair and other dirty stuff. The showers and toilets were very dirty aswell. We complained About it and the staff offerd us to clean up the beds. We desided to find another hostel and they gave us 50% of the money back.

Stayed in 2012 for a friend's stag weekend. Friendly staff, reasonable pricing and excellent location, you can't get closer to the city centre.

Günstiges Hotel direkt in der Innenstadt — sehr gute Lage, Entfernung zur nächsten Disco ca 2 Minuten Fußweg. Zimmer wie in einem Hostel üblich spartanisch eingerichtet aber zum Übernachten ok. Frühstück wird morgens für 100CZK angeboten.

Wi-Fi is really really bad, but it's cheap there and they serve breakfast for only 90 crowns.

Clean and friendly, the Wi-Fi does not reach the 5th floor.

Nice and helpful staff, location is perfect. Rooms are okay. I stayed at double private room with exterior bathroom. The room was on the 4th floor without elevator, not a problem unless you have huge luggage. The doors cracked a lot when opening and closing. Okay stay if you will be all day out and don't care too much about room looks.

Cheap good location, only common area Wi-Fi doesn't work very well!

I stayed in Ritchie's hostel on the weekend of June 20th, 2015. It was awful. First, the rooms were filthy. I The hostel had enclosed outdoor areas, which would have been a very niceaddition to the building except that it was encrusted in dirt, mold, and had underwear strewn about the roofs. A friend I was traveling with stayed in the room on the top floor. Although featuring a really amazing loft, the bathroom was detached from the room — — she had to go outside and through a balcony walkway to reach the out-house condition toilet with a door that didn't close. Additionally, I found that while there I was harassed by workers in the hostel about my gender identity, something which is a really fast way to lose a lot of business.

Go away! We were 8 good friends that booked a room for this weekend. After leaving our room in the morning, we came back in the afternoon and all our cash was robbed. Anyelse of us had another key and we were all together during the entire day. Only a reception and the staff has the possibility to get in our room. This is the shame to rob your customers!
After discussion with the reception desk, a camera recorded but finally, after discussing with the manager, the recption desk told us the camera is not well placed.
Only the staff could get a pass to come in the room.

Clean and comfortable, excellent proximity to the old town square and Charles Bridge.

Elegant but not economic and strategic.

This hostel is super amazing downtown with good prices and excellent service close to everything.

Awesome place! The only hostel I actually felt like home in. Staff is very nice and very helpful, rooms are nice and clean, breakfast is good, location is just perfect; right next to Charles bridge, highly recommanded.

Great Hostel. From the day we (18peoplegroup) came. We get more beds then we ordered, very helpful restaurant tips. Very good located (in the heart of prag). Good and friendly service. Really tolerant at night. Cheap and good beds. What do you want more?. The germans.

As we arrived, the staff was very nice and helpful, the hostel itself is small and clean, the prices are good and the location in the city center is ideal. The room we were in was pointing to the street, wich made it a little noisy at night, but beeing tired after a long trip through Praha, that didn't bother us very much. After we arrived, we went to change some money and got ripped off terribly (seriously, watch out, people! ) and so we asked a guy working in the hostel what to do, and he told us we should have come to him to change right away and made us a really good price :-) It would have saved us a lot of money and trouble had we just changed there when we arrived. So thank you for 3 wonderful days in beatiful Praha, even though it was cold as f**** we just loved it here :).

I stayed there for three days. Fair price, nice staff. good breakfast (~4 Euro). Safe. My room faced the street, but it's not so noisy if you closed the window.
