Hostel Dakura Hostel

Amazing hostel! Big bedrooms, clean bathrooms and very friendly staff! They even have a small collection of boardgames, an ATM and their own bar inside. Really recommended.

5 minute walk from the metro system which was very nice. Plenty of shops around too so you don't have to travel far if you don't want to. The hostel itself was clean and tidy, and it does have a kitchen on each floor for you to cook (no oven). Computers available in the reception area which came in handy for our group, but this facility closes 2300, alongside the smoking garden. Roughly around 10 mins away from old Prague centre on metro. Overall very happy with service we were provided with.

Amazing hostel, very nice decor and atmosphere. Staff were very polite and the rooms were clean and the beds were very comfy. They provided us with padlocks for the lockers in the dorms. A nice small kitchen but there was no oven. A good location in Prague and reception is open 24/7. Extremely good for the price.

You get a good worth for your price. A little uncomfortable location and no aor conditioner. Other than that it is great. Open 24/7 and the staff are really nice.

We stayed 3 nights at Dakura and it was a great time. It's a lovely hostel and a cool location. Only 30 min to walk to the city centre. Can recommend it and would stay there again, when I get to Prague the next time.

Very convenient location, cozy rooms, showers and restrooms on the floor. Fully equipped kitchen on the floors. There is an Elevator, amazing courtyard, 2 lounge rooms. Coffee machine. Attentive staff.

Really cute hostel with everything you need. Quiet and super clean. I stayed there for 4 nights. Recommend it!

Small towel (wash cloth size) provided for single room. Paper walls and all noises come through ftom corridor. Good location and quite little traffic nearby street.

Stayed there from the 6th june til the 11th this year was clean tidy well run freindly and helpful staff at a great price highly recommend to anyone you will not be disappointed.

Sovdepovskaya Common, converted to a vintage hostel! The room was clean and the bathroom was… At the end of the hallway! Shared. Shared Kitchen. Fridge and micro-wave in the kitchen. Parking Space received in 8 min walk in the parking lot for an additional fee.
Plywood Doors. I hear Everything. In Short-for fans of this type of hostels. Location Luggage storage Room. Courtyard big with tables and hammock.

So beautiful, clean, very good service, guy's in reception are so attend to help, very good decoration, near form down town.

Loved our stay there. The staff was SO helpful and friendly (both by prompt and informative email correspondence before the trip and answering questions during our stay)!
We enjoyed this quiet part of town that is only a 15-30 minute walk to the busy tourist sites. In the area are many great restaurants, small parks, and nice streets to walk down. Very safe and nice part of town.
Other guests were friendly, but we appreciated that it was a quiet hostel (not a party hostel), and we slept great! We also really enjoyed relaxing in the garden.

Good place, next to the metro, tram and market… not that cheap because you don't have breakfast, and you have to take the tram if you want to go to oldtown, or walk for 30 minutes… also it was snowing so it was very cold inside our room.

Walls too thin, it wasn't cold, but in others it was better.

7 minute walk from the train dtation, great location. Great 24 hour reception with drinks and snacks. Great rooms and people.

Easy to get two minutes from the metro. A very comfortable place. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. The staff is very friendly and very attentive. It has a very complete common kitchen and totally clean. Recommended to spend a few days comfortably.

It is okay as a hostel, easy checkin, guys are helpful and friendly. Plus one star for pet-friendliness.

Very friendly, convenient to get to the center both on foot and by public transport in 15 minutes without the need to use the car.

We stayed 2 nights at Dakura and we really liked it. The mattresses could be renewed again but we slept very well anyway. Unfortunately, the location is not as good as promised to get to the city centre you have to walk 30-40 minutes uphill and downhill. This is a bit tiresome after the first time.
But otherwise it was really great. The rooms, showers and toilets are clean, the staff are nice and helpful.

The great location with plenty of fun places around. Great guys managing the place. And 44 rooms to lodge travellers. Coffee shop and many places around to park your car.

The hostel is good) one, the interior in the style of "Savka" I do not cause delight.

I stayed in the 10-bed room and had it to myself most of the weekend! The staff were very accommodating, English-friendly, and the place was very clean and secure. It's next to the Hradcanska metro and tram stop, putting the city (and the airport) an easy transit ride away.

We stated in this hostel for the first time in 2015 and were happy to see that it hasn't changed much. Our room was spacious and clean and so were common areas (kitchen, restrooms and showers). I really loved the neighbourhood with its tenement houses and cosy cafés or restaurants, yet within a walking distance of two metro stations.

I stayed with my family at Dakura after my passport was stolen, we booked for only one night and the day after the stuff let us stay a long as we needed to, helps us a lot with information, parenting knew tickets and improved our mood.

The beds are so short that I do not put in full height. 1.87. Guys, I sjuvse understand. Bjudzhetninko. But to this extent.

Very nice room, a bit weird service, but very quiet. We were greeted by an Indian boy, who informed us very well about what we were looking for in town.

Simple but clean and sufficiently large room, shared bathroom and — toilet is not for everyone but was ok, friendly staff and great garden to relax. Super location in the 6th district just above Prague Castle. Unbeatable for the price. We'll be back.

Perfect Hostel for the price. I dont know if I was lucky, but I didnt see any problem listed below. My room, with only 6 beds, was very big and the bed was very comfortable. The Wi-Fi worked great, even for netflix. I thought the shower was pretty good and there was not only one, but 2 kitchens to use freely. To finish, all the staff was very kind. Would come back for sure.

The hostel is clean and the rooms are really spacious! The building is old but everything is clean. It has a garden and a mini bar and the staff is very nice! Great value for the price, would come back!

The hostel is situated in a very nice and convenient location. There is a metro and tram station nearby. The hostel itself looks good, all in a vintage style. The staff was really friendly and helpful. In general there was a pleasant atmosphere. I would stay here again.

This is one of the cleanest hostels I've stayed at. The staff are friendly and it's fairly quiet. There are two kitchens available and very nice showers. Close to Hradčanská metro/tram stop and many restaurants — I highly recommend Yam Yam (for Thai) and Misto (for breakfast/coffee). I'm knocking off a star due to the fact that my travel companion of 6'3" (190cm) is too tall for his bed and his feet hang off the end at night!

Convenient location for sights, transport, shops and pivnic. Friendly staff, including speaking Russian. Clean and comfortable. Very cozy garden in the courtyard with singing birds.

The lights are too dim in rooms. You need to be a northerner in order to like the lights. Bath room was not good. Staff were very kind and helpful.

They do not provide daily housekeeping as they say. Got one towel to use for 4 days. Smelly toilet. Unfriendly staff. Only good thing I can think of is its location. Don't waste your money.

The rooms are cold, around dirty, full of cockroaches. I for 300r per day similar saw. In The Crimea. Awful. One refrigerator for the whole floor, from drunken neighbors (if any) will not save all all the same going to sleep to the cries, groans and cigarette smoke.

The rooms were large, clean and the beds were comfortable. There is only one shared bathroom, but a sink is in the room.
The hostel has easy access to the centre.
In the area are some bars and restaurants, only the downside is that the will not make up until 11 o 'clock and 10 p. M.

Cheap and great staff. Backpackers will love this hostel.

It has been two months since I left this place and I miss the friendly staff they have. Comfortable place, warm, cozy and cheap. The staff is super helpful and the place is extremely well located, far away from traffic and crowds.

Great hostel, stayed together in the room with a double bed. Very quiet, clean, no queues for the shower. There is a decent kitchen with everything you need, you can cook, near metro and supermarket. Recommended!
