The hotel HAS air conditioning, unlike many hotels in the Castle District. The staff was excellent and Daniel at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We had previously checked into 2 other hotels to find that they had no air-conditioning and it was 92 degrees this week. Daniel walked us into 3 rooms to see which one was the coldest. A true customer service oriented professional!

Stayed here on a recent scorching weekend break in Prague for our wedding anniversary. First impressions were very good, it is clean, professional and a wonderful location at the top of the hill with a very spacious room. There were a couple of faults I felt that could improve it. When asked, The hotel did not have any ice at all (the day time temp was 32 degrees) for chilling drinks. This was both in the bar and available for your room. We felt the hotel menu was a little over priced for the quality of food, especially compared to that in the main streets of old town. Also we asked reception what time the kitchen finished serving food they explained 10:30pm. We went down to the restaurant at 10pm to be told that the kitchen had closed even though room service was also advertised until 10:30pm Overall however a great stay for a good price and fantastic memories, certainly not dampened by the suggested improvements.

A little piece of paradise in Prague.

Unforgettable. We started a wedding trip in Prague with 42 incoming visitors from all over the world. The helped in coordination of pick ups and departures and went above and beyond to make the visit special and affordable. Highly recommended.

Cozy, comfortable hotel, in the center of Prague. There were two years in a row in Katoliceskoe Christmas. And if possible, we'll come again. Only good, warm impressions. Rest there soul…

Everything was good. The bed is super big and comfortable. I could only complain about the variety of options on the restaurant menu, but despite of that the duck I ordered was tasty.

I'm very happy. Only the communication with the reception was vllt somewhat difficult (which is definitely also in my English;) )
The breakfast is great!, the rooms are nice and the sauna can be done too! I can only recommend — perfect starting point to conquer the city.

The Lindner Hotel is recommended all around. Very nice and courteous staff, here I want to highlight especially for German guests, Mr. Daniel Schwarz at the reception. Who is very friendly and always has a nice word on his lips. He gives good Prague tips and takes care of all the desired needs of the guests. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast buffet does not leave any wishes open.

The service is perfect. The staff speaks all the important languages. The rooms are a bit worn but everything is clean and tidy.

First room very small and not as booked. We booked it on this hotel. Breakfast OK. Walking distance from Prague Castle. Didn't convince us of the 4, 5 stars.

My room was very quiet but unfotunately very dark. Service very nice. Car park cannot be recommended, very tight…

Superior Room was very spacious. Beer is not very affordable at the bar. Should be approved in the nearby pubs, which can be reached from here very well. The castle is also very easy to reach. A stop in front of the door will take you to the old town very quickly.

My son and I really enjoyed this hotel. The location is perfect on the hill near the castle. Its a beautiful spot overlooking the city. The staff was super friendly and accommodating to obnoxious Americans. You don't go to Prague for the food (almost always pork, potatoes, dumplings & gravy), it gets old fast. But the hotel has food choices, like a decent salad, that shows they are gamely trying. The rooms are great — it used to be a Crown Plaza according to our Uber driver. I highly recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed the stay at the hotel. The staff is multilingual, very attentive and polite. The rooms are spacious and clean. We only felt that there were carpets everywhere. Maybe you should think about it here the next time you upgrade.
The NYE Gala was well organized, the buffet was worth all the honor. The atmosphere in the room, however, was so unpleasantly noisy that we decided to leave the location before midnight.
From the location, the Lindner is recommended for a visit to Prague. The Prague Castle is within 5 minutes walking distance. The Prague Eiffel Tower is just 10 minutes away. Even to the Charles Bridge it was only about 25 minutes to walk, which however downhill. And this distance on the way back uphill is already a challenge to the calves.
We enjoyed our stay in Prague and would like to give a "thumbs up" recommendation for the Lindner Hotel Prague Castle.

The room was very nice and also big enough… only the bathroom was not that great…
It was a room for people with disabilities. Which is OK in itself.
Only the sink was very low and the mirror also.
So if you wanted to freshen up or apply make up, you always had to go to your knees to see something in the mirror.
Also there was no shower enclosure and so after showering the whole bathroom and e. G. Also the toilet paper wet…
It was also just a very small shelf there for washing bag, towels which was only enough to put the bare necessities for the bathroom.
What we didn't like was the sauna/fitness area!
The fitness area was a joke… this was a very small room with 4 devices.
So as a fitness room you really can't describe it!
Also the sauna was very small. It was just a place for a maximum of 4 people.
This is far too little for the number of people in the d'hotes.
Also in the relaxation room there were only 4 wooden beds which were inconvenient in the long run.
To get towels you had to be really lucky. They were rarely replenished by the staff.
Also the water for drinking was all, used glasses stood rum and the fruit was also all.
The staff very often walked past it and didn't do the like.
It was only on demand that the water was refilled.

Hotel complex is very nicely located, albeit somewhat off the centre. Many sightseeing are within walking distance.
Parking costs 26 euros per night. However, the public space in Prague costs 1, 60 EUR/H. This means that the EUR 26 is back in line. A few meters away from the mountain you can park in the public parking area free of charge, who is not too unsure.
Rooms are OK. Cleanliness in the rooms also OK. Stand in the mid-1990s. But for me there is nothing to criticize.
The breakfast is simple and the ingredients are inexpensive. Service is always slightly overwhelmed and therefore has a somewhat impersonal effect.
Fitness and sauna have only alibi function. There is a sauna, but for more than 4 people it is not suitable. Quiet room is very small. There are not more than 4 beds here either. If you want more than 4 people in the sauna, then it will be difficult, as the rooms are also very cramped. Fitness room is equipped with treadmill, stepper and wheel, so far OK.
Overall, the hotel could not justify its price. Unfortunately, the small Heraudforderungen that every hotel has to solve does not manage to solve it well. There is potential for optimization.

The hotel is located above the city centre, close to some hotspots. You can reach the centre in about 40 minutes on foot. The rooms are good and the breakfast as well. The quiet location makes sleeping with an open window possible. In the vicinity there are shops and restaurants worth visiting. We would love to come back!

Good place, high level of quality. Very well situated. Only point: breakfast is too expensive.

Our room was at the end of the corridor and was very cold. The heater under the ceiling did not work very well, problem with parking if you do not have hotel parking. On the other hand — room is very clean, bathtub in the bathroom, iron and ironing board, great breakfast, very friendly staff.

Very good location, near park and old part of Prague. Excellent food, breakfast was deliciuos with great choice. Only room that I stayed in could be better, furniture needs replacement eg. Sofa… plus first floor rooms are very dark due to small windows.

Nice rooms. Located well inside the city. Room rates are reasonable. Parking is expensive, 26 euros per night. I’ll advise you to park the car on the streets outside and pay for the parking. Ll be a cheaper option.

Comfortable rooms, good internet and excellent customer service. I was really impressed with how helpful and friendly the Lindner staff were and how welcome they made us feel. Our stay was only one night, but I would have happily stayed longer!

A great pleasure to return to one of my all time favourite hotels. I have stayed here many times over the past 9 years and have always been impressed with the location, decor and, most importantly, the staff who can make or break a stay. The standards of service are excellent as it the quality of the food and the cleanliness of the rooms and public places. The quiet surroundings also add to the overall experience of being in an oasis of calm.

My daughter and I stayed at the Lindner Hotel 2 nights at the end of our trip to the Czech Republic. The area surrounding the Hotel was like a storybook, and when entered the actual hotel, the story continued. We were greeted by friendly, professional staff, who were quite helpful. There was a bit of a language barrier, but nothing that could not be overcome. The room we stayed in had 2 twin beds that were very comfortable, and a welcome respite to our tired bodies. The restroom and shower area was immaculate and modern. When we first entered the room, none of the lights turned on. After some careful searching, we found there was a key-card mechanism by the light switches where you needed to insert the key to get the lights to work. My daughter and I thought this was a novel and great energy saving idea. We had never seen this before. Once you removed the key, the lights stayed on for about 30 seconds, then all turned off. The hotel itself was within walking distance to most of the popular sites in Prague. There was also easy access to the public transportation system so if you were too tired to walk back up to the hotel, a tram was readily available to help you on your return journey. While the room was quite comfortable for the 2 of us, it appears that none of the rooms are for more than two people. The largest room, the suite, still says it's designed for 2 people, and can hold a meeting for four people.

Location is very good, but staff did not honored request made prior to arrival and confirmed via email to have our family in connected rooms as we were travelling with kids. At arrival, the manager said there was no note in the reservation, and promised to solve the problem the next day. Next day, another manager said it was not possible to change rooms, due to difference in rate and maybe next day it would be possible. The staff made no effort to solve the problem. Rooms are outdated and lack maintenance (bathroom door did not close, TV had no sound). I would not recommend this hotel and for sure will not return to this hotel.

The hotel is placed a little outside the city centre. However, the location is lovely. It is up on a hill and right next to the Catholic Cathedral. The staff is great, as well as the breakfast that includes everything you would want. The hike downhill to the city gives a beautiful over Prague and only takes 15 minutes.

Excellent Hotel Prestations.

Very clean Hotel, rooms coccolissime, Super Breakfast International… The staff is very helpful and speaks perfect English… all expectations have been expected… 10 minutes by tram (22) from the centre of Prague, the stop is 50 meters from the hotel… what better?

Everything in the hotel is good. But when confronted with the 100 meters total incompetence of the staff.
the manager didn't know how to removed funds from lock made by bank card at the port in laminated hotel.
He did not know what to enter 6 digit unlock code. It's a rumour listed all waste produced by me per stay with printouts of the account, but this is my confidential information and in doing so I tried to stop him.
Ask to pay more attention to the training of personnel.

It is a very nice, attractive ambience. The staff are friendly and very obliging. The gym could be — expanded a bit better more devices.
The transfer from and to the train station or airport should be better organized and better — at least I am so accustomed from other hotels.

The location of the hotel is great. His calm, wonderfully on the mountain but yet near Centre, can reach all within walking distance. Our room was unfortunately somewhat old fashioned from the equipment — carpet which has also not particularly fresh smell. In the bathroom, it was not super clean — traces of nail polish on the bathtub, hairs on the toilet. The breakfast was very tasty and fresh and the staff at the buffet really very very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, we missed this experience at the guys at the front desk. We were treated rather harshly, and felt not very welcome. Also we have used the gym something better be equipped could but still ok. Unfortunately, this is located right next to the sauna area and it was really too hot to train. Here, one with air conditioning or fan or similar could improve the situation.

At the reception very courteous and friendly staff. The buffet Breakfast, or Brunch, was excellent. The staff is very thoughtful and nice. The room is clean and tidy. This Hotel I can always recommend.

Very nice hotel, good location but not too convenient for a weekend in the city.

This is a formal building of Strahov Monastery, beautifully remodeled in luxurious yet old monastery atmosphere style. It is located in the heart of Prague – literally just few steps from some of the most amazing views for old Prague and Prague Castle — but very quiet and peaceful. Simply one of the most precious place in Prague where you will be immediately taken by the spirit of its medieval atmosphere. Hotel service, equipment and food was also absolutely perfect. I’ve stayed in couple of other places in Prague, but there is nothing even remotely close to the experience of this hotel. If you read this and there is free room for you, don’t look any further!

Pros: -Great Location. Walking distance to old town (though way back is steep uphill) and very close to Prague Castle. Next to Monastery with great food and it's own brewery as well. -Nice staff -Very affordable with Expedia discount -Comfortable bed, clean room, nice shower. Cons: -One fuse next to my bed in my room would blow the power in my room when trying to plug something in. Staff blamed it on my power converter, although the same power converter worked in other plugs in our room and every other hotel. -Put $100 hold on my credit card -To get free Wi-Fi, we had to sign up for their newsletter. Only took a few minutes, but free Wi-Fi should be standard I feel. Definitely would recommend in the end though!

The desk was very friendly and helpful. Super quiet location with good bar service. Clean spacious room with nice shower. I would recommend to all. It is a little out of the way, I'd suggest arriving in daylight.

Hotel was really ok :) Very good localization, quiet and peaceful. Only a little cold in rooms (maybe heater was broken? ) and Wi-Fi is additionally paid but this is standard for high class hotels. I can recommend it for people that do not want to sleep in the city center.

Ideal location to Prague to Explore in 10 minutes on foot to the Charles bridge back with Tram line 22 on foot, there is a steep mountain. Otherwise, Lindner Quality +.

Excellent staff, the kind of people that treat you like family! We extended our stay with them four additional days because the service was excellent.

Beer Pilsner 0, 5l + still watter 0, 3l for 220, — CZK is NONSENSE.

We stayed here recently and loved it. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable and clean. Especially important was that this hotel room was quiet. The crowds were heaving in Prague on the weekend we were there and were able to retreat to our hotel after long days pounding the beautiful streets of Prague. It is on a hill and it's is a steep climb down to Charles Bridge (maybe 15 — 20 minute walk) however the street was lively and full of interesting shops to look at as you made your way down. There were trams that ran frequently which would be better suited to somebody with limited walking capabilities. Overall we loved our hotel and would stay here again.

Room was ok und clean, reception was freindly, but the meal/dinner was not good; it was cold und not tasty, breakfast was sufficient.

I just got home from my stay in praque and this hotel of course. I'm very pleased to tell, that it exceeded my expectations by far. It was perfectly situated and the rooms were really confortable. From the hotel it takes about a 10 minute walk to the city center. I would recommend it to everyone.

Far from downtown, expensive restaurant and no interest. There is much better in Prague for two times cheaper (Park Inn for example)
