Review of Grand Majestic Hotel Prague 4*

My bag containing 1300$, mobile phone and passports was stolen from my chair as I was having breakfast. I left the purse for exactly 30 seconds hanging on my chair before changing my mind but it was too late. It was snatched in the restaurant where there are no cameras. Horrible standard of service when workers steal your belongings! The lack of interest and help by the hotel was astounding! They did not care to check their cameras elsewhere and offered no apology or support whatsoever. will not be returning ever again! further in response to the hotel: — I did not leave my purse unattended — I had on my chair and again did not leave it unattended. — the hotel only asks for the room number and not the names of the residence — this is not the first time someone has been robbed at your hotel it has happened in the restaurant once and another in their own bedroom and your staff did not even bother calling the police until 10 am the next morning. This was not done by a visitor but by one of your staff. — the help you claim I received was inadequate. The tour guide you also claim helped us has blamed your manager saying he should have at least offered an apology or sent a fruit basket, or sent someone with us to the embassy. — claiming it is my fault that I got robbed at your restaurant at your 4-star hotel. I did not even let my guard down I had the purse on my chair with my husband sitting on the chair right in front of me with full visibility of people passing by. We did not let our guard down we just did not think you had thieves working for you. finally, your hotel can be sparkling clean but if I get robbed and don't feel safe then I might as well stay somewhere else. thank you.
