No type of reception, questionable cleanliness (the smell just comes in is proof) and no luggage service. In our case we arrived in the evening and we did not have the welcome drink in the breakfast the day after (because it is on request). At check out (Hours 9.30 in the morning), they opened the door to them, in an indelicate way, asking us to leave the room in 10 minutes. We asked for a chance to leave the luggage there since we had the flight back in the afternoon and the answer was amazing! "Leave them at the depot that's here on the road as they all do" (surcharge).
The location is pretty good on the other hand.

Fine, but not great. Shower that need maintenance and apartment on the fifth floor no elevator, but still nice and cozy with a great view!

The price was excellent… very nice Staff.

The staff of the pension does not understand any Spanish and that makes communication difficult. The room is very cosy, attic and very clean.

Cheap rooms / apartment in the center of Prague. Unfortunately, no elevator for apt. On 5th floor.

The breakfast is really poor, but the bed is amazing, that place need TV in rooms.

The place of the pension Platan is close to the centre of Prague! Pity that it does not have an entertainment hall, and, of the staff anything but friendly!

The rooms are clean and lovingly furnished. The bathroom is spacious.
The pension is on the 5th floor and there is an elevator. This is a little nostalgic.
The location is very central, one is walking in five minutes on the Vltava and also in the center.
The only downside is the lack of parking. There are many parking lots nearby, but they are very expensive.

Check out at 9:30 AM. They will knock on the door before to let you know.

A convenient star system at any time, a full-fledged apartment with all amenities, kitchen utensils, a microwave oven, a kettle and a washing machine. The price is excellent.

Nice, confortable and close to everything. Few minutes walk from old town square.

The location is very good, in the heart of Prague, we walked everywhere including the other bank of Vltava (Prazsky Hrad and Petrshyn), continental breakfasts are also good. There are many shops, restaurants and beer bars nearby. It takes only 10 minutes walk to get to the main square (Staromestskaya) and 15 minutes walk from the main train station. Of course for the price you don't need to expect many services in the Hotel, but you can find all you need (a fridge, microwave, coffee automat). The lift is a bit outdated but we liked it very much because it reminds scenes from czech books. With the key boxes we didn't have any problems and the fact that the staff works untill 13.30 didn't make any inconveniences either (anyway, they are available by the telephone any time). So for this money, this hotel has the best location and services.

Hotel located in a strategic position to visit Prague for 4 days. Two steps away from Metro station Namesti Republiky, powder gate and the municipal Palace. Cosy, spacious rooms with wooden furniture and equipped with a kettle, a microwave oven and a set of towels. Breakfast is served in your room from 8 am to 10 am, not a buffet but you can turn a blind eye: a cup of tea or coffee, bread, jam, butter and formagino.
It won't be a 5 star hotel, but should be considered for great value.
