I visited only the restaurant, not the hotel. The food was fine, but not the best, the prices were ok, but the service was just awfull! We had to wait every time for a very long time, then when the food finaly arrived, we could only look at it, because the food came without any cutlery and the waiters didn't hurry to bring us the cutlery and an additiinal plate we asked for. At the end I've got a cold apple strudel.

Lovely surroundings, good service, basic menu, ice cream cup was good.

Lunch was very nice and tasty. Fast service and nice people.

I really don't recommend this place. At the begining they didn't let us place 3 tables together. Later they say that they can't split the bill between families. When we asked for English menu, we were waiting 10 minutes and we get German menu. The waiter was really impolite and bad-tempered. When we resigned (3 out of 4 families) the one that stayed told us that the waiter was even more rude, impolite and unhelpful and the food was uneatable. Few days before everything was fine — food and service. This is not what you except. I was in cheaper restaurants, even in McDonalds they are more polite. This is totally unacceptable. Shame on you and I hope you will be bankrupt soon.

30 years after the last visit we finally wanted to go back to the old RAINWIESE hotel. It has been renovated, but it has remained far on the line from the substance. Showers are cold in the spring months. If you are lucky and do not live in a corner room, you can run warm for 5 minutes, then the water is not so cold. Television there is no — is a matter of opinion. The staff is very friendly, but you have to leave it to them.

The hotel is old but acceptable for a few days/nights. Cleanliness in order. Wi-Fi is excellent.
The non-functioning heaters in the rooms and in the restaurant led us to stay only in our street jackets. That was very uncomfortable!
The water for showering had to be run for minutes until it finally warmed up a bit. You can't do that!

In itself a good hotel, standards in terms of cleanliness and equipment absolutely met, albeit somewhat outdated. WLAN works dazzling. Cash machine in front of the house. Breakfast good standard, but some preparations may be unusual for the palate. And favorable the whole.

We spent a weekend there and wandering. The hotel and facilities have been a bit over the years, but the rooms were tip top clean and have smelled good. The beds were reasonably comfortable, slept much worse in hotels. The staff was always friendly, albeit somewhat reserved. Breakfast was available at the hotel, which was also fine if you didn't have any great demands. Buns, cereals, fruit, vegetables, scrambled eggs etc. Good coffee. The location is really good to explore the area! Can be done and is favorable.

I liked everything. Very good location. Good breakfast. The triple room is simple, but everything is neat. There is not enough fridge in the room. Everything else was very pleasant. A great place for a family holiday.

Nice walking hotel. The breakfast is very good and varied. It is ideal for many excursion destinations in the National park. The restaurant has a good kitchen. If there were still TVs to stay in the room in bad weather, it would be perfect.

Avoid visiting this hotel — rip-off guests wherever possible, from parking to restaurant. For instance a small portion of kerchup costs 30crons (1.20€), but — and this is the real deal. — the price is neither listed on the card but communicated by the waiter. The hotel manager is ridiculous, no service mentality but nasty to clients! Further painpoints: beer had no alcohol, pork schnitzel tastes like chicken (and looks also so) … parking costs 4€. Toilets are disgusting! Can only recommend to stay away.

Very nice place, friendly personal, comfortable rooms, wi fi internet. Thank you very much, I spend 3 wonderful days on this place… food was exelent, recommended to everybody who planned trip to this national park! W'll go again next year, Eugen.

HORRIBLE Restaurant Very very very very bad service. Nobudy said bello when the people enter. No room manager that could pay attention to the clients. No English menu. The waiter do not know English, 1 hour waiting at the table to order also calling several time the waiter and half of the menù was not available. Orribile.

A perfect spot to end a day of hiking through Bohemian Switzerland! We trekked from Hřensko up to to Pravčická brána, following the red trail down to the tiny town of Mezní Louka. Located directly across from the trailhead, Hotel Mezní Louka is an ideal spot to unwind after a rigorous day on the trails. We enjoyed the restaurant and excellent local/Moravian wine, and top-notch service from the welcoming staff. We couldn't spend the night as we had pre-booked accommodations Bad Schandau, but wish we'd had the foresight to make arrangements here. Very charming, clean and comfortable and the sauna/spa were so enticing. Next time, we plan to make this our base for exploring the surrounding trails!

Good food at very reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and attentive. The guest room is unfortunately too little heated in winter and thus too cold, that makes the visit somewhat uncomfortable. But still it is worth in any case.

The food in the hotel was very good, would like to recommend it to like to continue.

The room and the service left open no wishes. The food was also good. Very idyllic and perfect for walking. The price was very cheap in a special promotion. As a highlight, I felt but the food of the opposite premises.
