Review of Park Beach Hotel 3*

Please please do not contemplate booking this hotel. I've been going to Cyprus for 48 years and the 21 days I stayed at this hotel were the worst. Went for a christening. The management are rude and do not follow through what they promise. The beds are not fit for purpose very lumpy and uncomfortable. My mum's bed collapsed just before she sat on it. I asked for the camp beds to be upgraded. I was told it was done. When I checked they were the same ones that were broken or had collapsed. They deliberately lied to us constantly. They told the Cyprus tourist board according to the agent that they had redecoted the November before and when speaking to the staff they said the hotel hadn't been decorated for a number of years. The decor has really seen better days. There are steps and stairs everywhere. The fridge and air conditioning leaked. The light switches were faulty. The rails to the steps were broken. Its not good at all for people with disabilities or poor mobility. The hotel was not worth the money. The gardens stuck of cat poo. The hairdryer in the bathroom was broken. The food was bland. Very poor breakfasts. Drinks machines were never refilled. The bar staff charged different prices for drinks. On arrival our back sliding door did not close. Terraced and pool furniture very old and some broken. Water leaked through the wardrobes. Sockets in the room did not work. For the price of £4000 + I felt I was robbed. I do not recommend this hotel. Booked through imperial air tours. Never ever again.
