I stayed at the Anastasia Suites in Zagreb for a night this week with my family.
We arrived there and the owner greeted us, and asked us whether we had a lot of luggage, because he had a great room for us, but it was upstairs. We proceeded to the room, and it was kind of cold. However, the room itself was very beautiful. It had a mix of antiques, and modern object.
We then went downstairs, so that the owner would show us where we would have breakfast the other day. It was a small room, but again, it looked beautiful. He asked us whether we had any dietary restrictions, and we said no. Then, we were asked at what hour we would like to get breakfast, because he had an assistant that woke up around 8.
At night, we were quite cold, because the air conditioning did not heat the room properly, but we were waiting for breakfast. He had told us about his expresso machines that made really good Italian coffee.
At breakfast, we received 4 slices of bread and 4-5 pieces of omlette. There was some jam and some butter too. As for the assistant, the parrot, he showed us that he could chew on a pen.
The coffee was not made at the espresso machine, but in the kitchen, and the owner kept asking if we wanted our cups to be full. There was a Japanese man who kind of messed up his plans, because he stayed more at breakfast and wanted honey. He could not find the second honey.
We had more expectations about the breakfast.
