Good accomodation (familyroom in main building, nice pool and slides for kids) and quiet location. Food is very very poor … breakfast and dinner are very far below of the 4star quotation. For the food I would give 2/10 because it has no taste, the cheapest ingredients are used and the hotel has a chef without any ideas… (or was he on vacation? ) I would never recommend other guests to book half board there. Staff is not friendly, a smile is hard to get… (only the poolboys and lifeguards are ok) we had a room at the back of the hotel near the parking and rubish-bins… every morning between 6 and 7h a lorry came (with a lot of noise) to empty all the containers… result is that everyone was awake at the backside of the hotel! A nice way to start your day… I'm a travelagent myself, I see lots of hotels each year but concerning food (especially dinner) this is one of the worst I have ever visited! The hotel-managment should reconsider its ways of working… urgent! S. Goyens Belgium.

The location is nice but is terrible u have to pay for everything extra even u have half board. Air conditioning came water out, the barrier or a intrusion makes the hole night noise and the shower is just cold or really hot and not power full. I had also a long discussion with the hotel manager about water for free at the dinner and they tried really to explain me it is normally world wide, my answer was I invited u to Austria and u get water for free when u go out for dinner. It was not our first time in Croatia but the conditions what we got here is not that what we usually knows from this nice country. I have also to say it was not less money what we spend for two weeks here round about 4500 Euro only for the hotel. In the attachment u will find a short video about the noise what u will have every night!

Hotel complex very large. Room for 3 people too small. No wishes were received. (Was our honeymoon)

Many things do not work (safe, TV, toilet lid defekr). Baby Cot without mattress! All night you hear a beep of an alarm system from the facility, pool side. Disaster. Positive is the food and the tried and most friendly staff to mention. The "senior receptionist" has no more pleasure in working.

Horrible stay, not worth the money. Too expensive and rooms were not cleaned when we arrived. Bathroom was not cleaned, dirt on the wall, sticky floor of the room. Swimming pool walls are moldy, we had no chance to even properly use the pool because there were too many younger folks from a sports club in the pool. The receptionist didn't even tell us the pool was preoccupied with 20 teenagers. The spa area costs 30 euro for 2 hours for 2 people so we went there to check it out — not a good idea… The walls of the spa area are so moldy it's uncomfortable — can't imagine someone with a lung condition or asthma being there. I question how much is cleaned there… and 30 euro for 2 hours of THAT is a rip off. I would strongly advise anyone to book another hotel, maybe pay a little more and get a 5 star hotel, because if you are someone looking for a quiet and clean stay you will be disappointed.

Excellent Hotel complex! There is a big comfortable territory, lots of trees, lovely air, the layout is well thought out, the main building is spacious, with original design Istrian village, comfortable lobby, good menu in cafes, souvenir and press shops, beach trifles, Hairdresser, stunning spa center with swimming pool, gym, beauty care programs of international quality with highly professional staff! Prices are absolutely adequate, if you take the course, the gain and result on the face. The restaurant is large, several halls, there are highchairs, the furniture is very comfortable. The staff is always friendly and helpful! The menu of cosmic diversity for all meals-from breakfast to dinner: A lot of fresh vegetables and fruits, snacks, meat different freshly fried, stewed, the same with fish, a lot of garnishes, a variety of pastries, pizza. There is a separate table for diabetics, allergy sufferers, watchers! It is very important that the range of dishes is maintained all the time of the restaurant, if you come to 21.50-10 minutes before closing-the food will be available!
On the territory there is another café where you can eat in the afternoon, and in the evening there are performances and concerts.
On the territory of a large system of pools of different depths and sizes, always clean, with a large quantities of sunbeds (borrow in advance silly).

Sol Garden istra may be a 4 * house, but you will be dragged over the table with drinks, photo and invoice. Beer is paid 0, but 5l is not served. You look at the oak mark, just as the waiter was brought. In the local in Umag city, that never happened. In the hotel constantly. That's rip-off and that has system.

Holiday hotel with a contemporary feel. Great pools and waterslides for families. Easy access to beach and great surroundings. Pleasant staff and nice rooms.

Been there for a Tennis Camp in spring. Very busy during those days but the hotel managed the crowds nicely. Rooms are fairly basic but clean, nothing to complain about. Big buffet for food, again large crowds eating at the same time but the kitchen held up with it and delivered, so most everything was available throughout the breakfast/dinner times. Food quality was decent and matched overall expectations. There is one thing to really complain about which is the 'wellness' area. This was a fairly rundown place, with stains on the walls and ceilings and overall not particularly well kept — to the extend that this area should rather have been closed. This in particular as they charge separately for it. I would hope they go after it soon. Overall a pleasant stay and a recommendable place.

Stayed here for 8 days. The hotel is nice but in need of some updates and deep cleaning and paint, the grounds are well kept (grass, flower beds). For the price I was very pleased but it is more like a 3 star hotel. The food was decent, typical buffet with a variety that rotated in a 3 day cycle. There were not enough pool chairs for the number of guests so make sure you reserve one by 9! Staff was friendly and the childrens programs had excellent people. I would go again.

Nice accommodation — simple & clean.

Quite location, further from the town. Long waiting time in the lobby bar. Clean rooms, some reconstruction would be needed, however.

Great hotel for children and adults. The rooms are not quite as beautiful as described. For this, the food is top notch, varied and of good quality. The animation is nicely done and my son had much joy at the children's Club, which is very rare. The small slide Park is beautifully made for children.

Are the first time here, the rooms are ok brush also (are not in the main building) the food reminded at a canteen and is not really varied. Unfortunately, we could use the slides because bad weather made a spanner in the us. Anyone looking for peace and relaxation, this is out of place. Not because families with children but many groups that stay a few days and go back. For me, that is not a family hotel, would like to not know as to how in the summer.

For families with children's better seen yet…
