Service is dependent on which waiter is on your table, vegetarian options non existent unless you just want salad. The lift is truly awful and no stairway available at the beach end of the hotel.
No water provided in the room, you have to buy it.
Good things are the swimming pool and a reasonable, if limited, provision of gluten free food.

Relaxing trip — good hotel — good local transport.

Stayed in the hotel for 10 nights, fantastic setting with rentable Jet Skis, Kayaks and a boat trip which will take you to both Lopad and Sipan island within a 5 minute walk. The only downside to this hotel was the lack of communication as I planned to propose to my now fiancé during my stay. I did attempt to make contact prior to arrival to check whether anything special could have been arranged, the message was seen and not responded to which was disappointing.

Luxurious hotel, beautiful surroundings. From having a cooked breakfast outside with a view or a marina / Bay. Then dinner looking out onto the marina slightly dark so house and boat lights shining through. Staff are very attentive and super helpful. Rooms are good with some great views. Super, modern hotel in peaceful village of Slano. Spacious, comfortable rooms with great views, excellent facilities and lovely staff. Food for a large-scale buffet service was exceptional. Check out the carpaccio fish! Enjoyed our stay immensely.

This was our 2nd visit to Admiral Grand and was as good (if not better) as we remembered.
Staff are so professional and the whole hotel is spotlessly clean.
The food was excellent — although fairly repetitive you are guaranteed a good meal. My only criticism is it would be good to have water provided on the tables.

It's an amazing hotel, the staff are second to none, they bend over backwards to help you, in a stunning location, lovely room's, the only fault is no tea or coffee facilities in room, but having said that we will be coming again,

Lovely hotel, reasonabe food, drinks are not cheap, but the there is not a lot to do in the local vinicity.

A truly serene atmosphere for ultimate relaxation. Slano, etched in the valley of a circular ridges of mountains, has a most beautiful scenery, it's almost unreal. Air quality is… pure.

Was in 2016-place amazing! The sea is smooth, like a mirror, the crystal purity of the clock did not come out of the sea. I only took breakfast next to the hotel a great restaurant. This year I will go again!

Smart hotel, good food, good wine, friendly service, good location and facilities, not too crowded. Definitely 4 star even at high season.

Excellent hotel, highly recommended for summer vacation. The private beach is wonderful with amazing views to the bay of Slano. The stuff is good, there are events 6 days a week (piano man was my favorite, but also local folk music and live band). Location is very good, the town of Slano is nice and relaxing, you can walk around the bay. The hotel is around 1 hour bus to Dubrovnik, 20 min to Ston and 2 hours to Split. You can do excursions to the Islands or Mostar in Bosnia-Herzegovina (1.5 hours). There is gym, spa, tennis, volley and basketball courts. The only small issues I had was the slow Wi-Fi and they didn't have ball to play basketball.

Stayed her during early July 2018. Excellent service. Enjoyed the breakfast and evening meal. Good variety. Room overlooked the bay and was clean and comfortable. Can walk to local bars and excellent restaurant at the nearby marina.

This is a first class five star hotel that will ensure you enjoy your stay from start to finish. All staff are wonderful and can’t do enough for you. The food is excellent with a very wide choice both at breakfast and evening meal. Location is amazing and the private beach a lovely bonus. Would more than recommend you visit if you are reading this.

We have just spent a week here and wish we'd booked longer. What an amazing time we've had. Hotel is lovely, peaceful and relaxing. Staff are so helpful, friendly and go out of their way to be polite. Special thanks to Mario from the restaurant who served us most nights such a lovely person. Big thanks to Katerina from customer services for helping us have an amazing 10th wedding anniversary. Huge thanks to restaurant manager, everyone who helped cook our anniversary meal and our waiter for the evening sorry we don't know your names. Lovely views. Weather great in May. Varied food selection that caters for most people. Would be nice if the hotel provided a free bottle of water each day. This is a place to come and relax allthough there are pedaloes and kayaks for 35 Kuna per hour. Also a tennis court but not sure how much. We'd definitely recommend it for a relaxing holiday by the beach. This is our second visit and do plan to return one day.

Their room is spacious with a big wardrobe and modern bathroom. Breakfast has got local food with English breakfast. Has got a outdoor and indoor swimming pool that opens at 8am — 8pm. A gym, jacuzzi, sauna, massage parlour.

Nice hotel in very nice location. The bay is just great.
The rooms are very nicely decorated. Food is varied, of course it always repeats sometime. From the hotel there are many excursion possibilities. Buses depart directly from the hotel to Dubrovnik. Despite late arrivals in the evening we still got something to eat for dinner.

Impressive hotel in beautiful location. Luxurious with spa very nice. Rooms standard soundproofing helps to enjoy. Sea views stunning. Not for people who want busy area with lots restaurants as very quite low key blissful. Food good lots variety and quality. Would definitely go again.

Excellent hotel with good food and private beach! However, the pools were also saltwater so therefore being painful if it gets in your eyes. Lots of places to sit and eat and we had a beach view. Reception is good. Staff are ok.

Very nice hotel, the view of the sea is very beautiful. The buffet Restaurant offers a lot of choices. The staff is lovely. Suitable for couples but also families.

Amazing hotel it is set on the beach. We went peak time and there was more then enough sun loungers. Food is lovely and lots of it. Slano is stunning we found it right for us being a couple who likes the odd bar it is quite here. Highly recommend this hotel it's definitely 5 star.

Great facilities in and around the hotel including two pools, a private beach and beautiful countryside. Room is small but we'll put together, with very effective aircon. Breakfast and dinner buffets are exceptional, with several restaurants within walking distance.

The ADMIRAL hotel is suitable for people looking for comfort, quality of services, few noisy children, simple animations. No big fiesta. A hotel resting in a superb setting. Half board is ideal for sightseeing. Nice Restaurants in a 600m radius.

Great hotel. Nice pools outside and indoor. Spa area was nice too. Only negative a distance from the main city but there's a bus outside that reception can give you details of which will take you to the outskirts of the city centre. I would recommend if you want to relax most days at the hotel and spend less time exploring outside. Taxi is expensive another option could be to hire a car as another couple we met did. Worked out cheaper. Breakfast was buffet and included in our booking and included many items to choose from.

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Good everything. Spacious room, delicious food, excellent service throughout (for example, the bartender was selling all my cocktail fantasy), complete infrastructure for recreation. Near the hotel there is a beach with a nice entrance to the sea. Jerzy on depth there, but it turned out not to tread on them, since absolutely transparent sea. There are negative but insignificant: sometimes when entering boats in the Bay, the water in the air smells like diesel fuel. Not with me. Recommend.

It is a suitable especially for those who want to relax, they want tranquility. The kitchen is impeccable and chef cooks simple dishes and processed for refined palates, I enjoyed the seafood, breaded mussels musse and beautiful fruit plates. Chairs are sufficiently far apart to maintain some privacy. The hotel is connected by boat to dubrovnic. But the best thing about this hotel is the place where you site! A beautiful Bay where the hot water in July is transparent with beautiful variations of green and blue, the beach has pebbles. Recommended!

Very comfortable hotel, nice view, nice beach, the staff is really great and proffesional. 5 stars indeed from me.

What more could you want! The rooms are modern and not worn out set up. The view from the second floor of the Bay is terrific! Half Board consists of Breakfast and dinner, which is partly outside on the terrace or in the Restaurant can be enjoyed. The choice of food is absolutely sufficient and is characterized by good preparation. Even at the salad bar are helpful Geiser, the plates of the guests to fill. At the table there is absolutely attentive Service. The empty plates are not longer than a Minute on the table and will be promptly cleaned up. The beach (fine gravel) is right on the Hotel terrace. Sun beds and sun umbrellas free of charge. Unfortunately, the large swimming Pool with sea water filled, what the joy of a little clouded,. The Hotel is for families, however, are not suitable, because there is no children's pool or Playground is available. Also the lack of Animation or Dauermusikbeschallung condition the rest and relaxation that you can enjoy. Conclusion: For rest and relaxation, the value of a nice ambience place, the Hotel is the First choice P. S. The noise and music of Nachbareinrichtungen we could not hear. Travel Period: June 2015.

Wonderful hotel, quiet, calm and relaxing! Staff are warm and friendly too.

Here it is good and with plenty of rest if not relax. Noise ruhestörender compared to nightly — and nothing is undertaken by the hotel. On the contrary, employees sit with it. There are also the party vessels in the port.

Stayed 18th to 25th May 2014. This hotel is absolutely fabulous. Immaculately clean, comfortable, great food and lovely people. We will be back.

A good five star hotel with the only drawback of being far from Dubrovnik. Good food and private beach and swimming pool.

Hotel ideally located to visit the South of Croatia. Rooms and quality catering. Authenticity of places still guarded.

Everything is perfect, no defects, from the room till lunch. :).
