We opted for the "Villa Valjalo" because the ratings were promising. But then we were very disappointed. Upon our arrival, we had to determine that the overwhelmingly good reviews for 'Hotel Villa Valjalo"in the Croatian Dubrovnik absolutely can be assigned to the object in Dubrovnik. (1) the road in which the alleged hotel is found, consists of a narrow alley, which consists entirely of stairs. Thus is an access to the building for handicapped people or to deal with families with small children (PRAMS) only under the greatest difficulties. Even people without prejudice to have their love woes so to create their luggage to their owners! (2) the alleged hotel has no parking, and is otherwise very difficult to reach by car. On our arrival was recommended us, finding a parking place along the adjacent road. Because this is so tight that you barely past each other comes with two cars, this is hardly feasible. Also, foreign vehicles are not tolerated by the local residents because they hindered their garage entrance or the driveway. Even a journey with a taxi quickly becomes a war of nerves, because the said road is also a feeder school, to which the children are brought by their parents, then consisting of an unimpeded passage, because they have still to work. (3) the alleged hotel is anything other than a 3-star hotel!
