Beautiful and quiet place right by the sea. We took the ferry from Split to Hvar and this place is about a 45 min taxi ride from the port. They had amazing breakfast every morning. There's a bar on the first floor that serves burgers and pizza. Cash only for payment. There is an ATM at the house next door. They don't have a variety of cocktail drinks. There is a great restaurant 2 houses up the hill and they serve great food. The staff have limited English but they were very accommodating. They have a nice trail along the coast line where you get to soak in the beautiful scenery. The beach is not sandy so bring swimming shoes if you plan on getting in the water. And FYI, the rooms on the side are a lot smaller than all the other rooms. We went as a group and found out the side rooms were smaller than the one I was in. They have AC. The rooms are pretty basic. No TV in the one I was in. The view from my balcony was amazing! A nice place to visit if you want to just relax and rest. There's not a lot of activities besides walking the trail, swimming, and of course… drinking :)

Tomato soup with sweet whipped cream…this is what I was served and I am still in shock. Thankfully m, I was able to remove the whipped cream from the soho as soon as I realised what it was.
Also, we ordered a vegetarian plate as a starter and we were served a plate with fish. When we pointed out this to the waiter, he said he had run out of asparagus. He did not inform us of that and did not give us a different vegetarian option. This being said, tomato soup apart, the food was tasty and fresh.

The best place not of Hvar, not of Croatia, but in the world. A look that is lost on the infinity of the sea; good, genuine, perfect foods; delicious beers; kind, personable and impeccable service. The only problem is that I only go there once a year, but it's like going on pilgrimage. Because it's a unique, gorgeous place.
