Very polite staff, decent breakfasts, I will if you stay in Yalta, only in Bristol.

Well this isnt our first visit to this hotel let me say first and normally everything was excellent. Not this time. Firstly we booked a specific room from a set of rooms we know all was confirmed four months ago for three nights over New Years Eve and 2 nights after. On arrival we we're given a different room on the wrong side from what we had confirmation for… nothing could be done we were told (eventually we were given the room on the 2nd). Reception staff on check in were not very courteous I have to say. This was also a premium period and paid double than normal for the rooms… you would think a bootle of champagne in the room on arrival would be in order as it was new years eve… alas no such thing. New years day breakfast was very poor little choice and either lukewarm or cold… but worse the street cafe veranda and room where breakfast used to be is no more. Breakfast is served inside in a room with no windows at all. The breakfast is of a very low standard compared to what it was and I really wonder why no greater effort was put in for New Year. Considering the room cost was double the breakfast choice was half what it used to be… wine was available… if you were quick at breakfast otherwise you went without. The sauna and pool was a free for all with children throwing tea on the stones in the russian sauna. No one did anything about and the poor cleaner had a mess to clear up after them.

Everything is perfect: location, rooms, staff. Special thanks I want to bring girls to the working women of this lovely hotel. Operate 24 hours a day tirelessly. Very good location, close to beach, promenade, cafes, shops. Breakfast for every taste, all not to try. Comfortable bed, good linen and towels. Asked for a kettle, brought immediately. Pretty big gym, pool, two saunas. The price is too high, but we were in the season (end of August).

The hotel is 2.5 — 3 stars.
Prices are not commensurate with the services provided.
Of the cons:
— A very decent restaurant Bristol turned into a cafe Jolly Roosevelt with a small range of dishes.
— Bar karaoke on the opposite side of the street is a brain takeaway at night.
— Annoying inability to book a specific hotel room, make a prepayment, and book only the category of room.
— The lack of free parking is a big drawback.
— The area around the new building is ungroomed and mud, as well as the presence of incomprehensible abandoned buildings reminiscent of the market of the 90s.
— Salon "Diamant" is better not to visit, prices are real, services are not high quality.
Of the pros:
— A hotel for those who appreciate the opportunity to touch historic sites;
— the city's Massandra beach and Yalta embankment within walking distance;
— pharmacies/shops/cafes/restaurants nearby.
Not unequivocally:
— the hotel staff are very different, there are professionals, there is "no fish, no meat";
— The breakfast menu has been very much reduced;
— pool and changing rooms — of dubious quality.
So far we have to state that in Ukraine it was "fatter and thicker" and prices were more real both in the season and in the off-season.

The place is super, I recommend. Service, location, maids smart, all class. But! Good location
I will describe my review of the pros and cons.
Pros:
1. The location. It is close to the seafront and not far from Massanrovsky Beach.

Cons:
